Sam: --es, I remember how to run this stuff. It hasn't been that long since I've been in here, and I think I'm in better shape to be turning dials than you are.

*tired chittering*

I know, you've never worked your little paws so hard in your life. May I remind you that all the tons of people you recorded yesterday are listening, so I need the notes?

*weary, tired chittering and a flick of paper*

"Stuff happened, ask your friends." No, I need the real notes, come on. You don't have to do anything else, just take a nap or something.

*thudding noise*

Wow, you guys really were busy yesterday. Okay, so, hey everyone, this is Sam Winchester, and you might want to take a seat or grab a drink or something, because today's news is going to be a little... extended.

Good morning, folks! I hope all the students and teachers who are still around are enjoying their week off. It certainly looks like you are, from the stack of notes I've got here, so let's see what everyone's been getting up to, shall we?

Gooooooood morning Fandom Island!

No, there was not an extra shot in my latte this morning, why do you ask?

Good morning, fine people of Fandom. I appreciate you taking some time away from your Olympics to listen to the news, and I promise, I won't keep you here forever. That'd be awkward no matter when it happened, really.

Good morning, everyone! It sounds like there was some trouble here last week, and I've got to say, I am quite happy to have missed all of it. I guess sometimes you do get lucky around here.

Well, I've got a pretty dressage stream to get back to, so let's just get to this, shall we?

Good morning to everyone who's conscious at this hour. I almost wish that didn't have to be me, but I take my responsibilities very seriously. Plus, the squirrels were willing to share a little of their rum, and I'm pretending it's five o'clock somewhere now.

Good morning, folks! Is it Thursday again already? I guess that means it's time for me to decipher some squirrel scratch!

Oh my god, it isn't the fourth anymore, put the sparklers away!

*excited chittering*

Yes, I'm sure they were ridiculously cheap. There's a reason for that! This is not the time for them! Put them away!

Um, hi guys! This is Chloe Sullivan, with all your post-holiday news that hasn't accidentally been set on fire. I swear, if I get singed a single time, all the rum in here is going to magically disappear.

Good morning, folks. I don't know who's actually going to be awake to hear this, but this is Chloe Sullivan with your Thursday-of-break-week news! Obviously, nothing's going on at the school, but in the dorms, Lucrezia got a letter and started to pack to go home. Apparently, this was the kind of letter that implies one might not be coming back, because when Mercy stopped by, she wanted to know if she should be happy or sad for Lucrezia leaving. Awww. Meanwhile, Bucky turned the third floor common room in the... Buck-o-Plex movie theater? How very entrepreneurial. Britta followed her cat to the common room, who was there to see Bucky, much to Britta's amusement, and when Terry wanted to know what the weird scent in the movie theater was, Britta explained that cats can't make popcorn. It's a good thing they can't open cans either or we all might be in trouble. Terry also pointed out to Bucky that the TV in the common room didn't make it a movie theater. Sounds like someone has no imagination.

In town, Squall and Rinoa turned back into people in Jono's apartment, which was good since as a finch, Rinoa was close to getting eaten. Yikes. Shira was working on a letter home at The Magic Box, Alice was texting people out of boredom at Coyote Medicine, and in the evening, there was a rehearsal at the Boards for the Summer Showcase. There was lemon water and muffins, as usual, and then people got to rehearsing. Kenzi and Minako agreed to help each other out with their pieces, and Raven talked Jono into taking a break, during which she told him about the show she and Karla are doing in Kaeleer, and that she was accepted to school in Gotham City. Congratulations! I don't know why people choose to live there, but I'm sure you have solid reasons.

That's all I've got for notes, so I guess that means I get a break too! Have an awesome rest of the week, everyone.

Good morning, folks, and a special hello to all the new people who are probably still getting a handle on being followed by squirrels and having people talk about them. You get used to it eventually, I promise. To help, let's dig right into the juicy stuff from yesterday.

Good morning, everyone! I hope you're all enjoying your last week of freedom before the new folks arrive and classes start again. Not that summer workshops are hard, usually, but... oh, you know what I mean. Let's see what those of you who are still here got up to yesterday.

Things were still quiet at the school, of course. At the dorms, Bruce finished packing up his stuff and got ready to leave town. Cara came to say goodbye - well, she said she came to see if he was all right after fighting at graduation, but Bruce got a hug out of her, so it was totally a goodbye. Ender wasn't surprised that Bruce wasn't sticking around for the summer, but Bruce promised Lucrezia that he'd come back to visit when appropriate, so this wouldn't be the last time she'd see him. Annie also got a goodbye hug out of Bruce, and Stephanie talked to Bruce about the time he'd be spending in New York before going back to Gotham. Rilla promised to send Bruce pictures of Jims, and Ben made sure to stop by once Ender told him Bruce was leaving right away. Daenerys was also packing up to go home; Rilla was really sad about it, but Daenerys explained that she needed to go and help her people, and she assured Lucrezia that she'll be coming back as soon as she can. And up in the dorm observatory, Jeremy set up one last date for himself and George before she left, awwwww.

In town, Britta was knitting and complaining about being a capitalist slave at Turtle and Canary, and Quinn had her last shift at The Arms Hotel, so there was cake to celebrate. Alice had her first shift at Coyote Medicine, and I got to deal with a lack of air conditioning at the clinic. Try to avoid getting sick until it gets fixed, if you can.

Those are all the scribbles the squirrels handed to me, so it's time for me to head out and re-caffeinate myself. Bye!

Hey everyone! This is Chloe Sullivan coming to you from the far-more-colorful-than-usual radio station - seriously, is this paint going to wear off, or are we just going to have to get used to it? Anyway, here's what the squirrels managed to catch you all doing yesterday.

Shira was doing some cleaning up at the Magic Box - I wonder if paint got everywhere there too - K-Mart convinced Sean to let her have a job for the summer at Nast Sporting Goods, and I was working very hard at the clinic.

*chittering*

Okay, okay, I was playing games on my computer. I don't have to be honest when it's about me, you know. Bruce hung out in his room and worked on plans for a trip to New York, while most of the rest of the seniors, and other students, went to Six Flags for one last school trip. Everyone gathered up at the causeway, and it turned out that Annie was the most prepared, armed with a map of the park to look at while they waited. She and Quinn talked about their post-graduation plans, while Miley wanted Annie's help in planning what rides to hit. Rilla managed to get Jims into daycare - oh, the things most students don't have to worry about - and Annie told her a little about what to expect at the park, and Kenzi managed to get Toby to come, although he apparently didn't need his arm twisted too much. The wheels on the bus turned round and round and everyone made it to the park safely, where Ben introduced Kenzi to the wonders of funnel cake while waiting on line for a roller coaster. I'm assuming the squirrels were kind and left out the part where they threw up afterwards.

That's all I have for notes, so I'm going to sign off for now. To those who will be graduating this weekend, I just want to say...well, good luck. Just in case.

Good morning folks, this is Chloe Sullivan with your Thursday morning news. I'd like to take a moment to say a special hello to all of the guests who are still here, clearly enjoying all the wonderful things Fandom has to offer. Hey everyone! I hope you've all recovered from this year's visit of strange little children. Just remember, it could have been worse. At least we were all ourselves, right? Right. And speaking of being themselves, the squirrels appear to have decided that it's five o'clock somewhere, so I'd better get through these notes while I still have sober translators.

Thursday news! )

Good morning, everyone! This is Chloe Sullivan with your Thursday news, as well as a reminder that if you would like to stock up on protection before Prom, the clinic has loads of free condoms for the taking at the front desk. This place is dangerous enough as it is already.

So many shiny things today... )

[personal profile] mycanonhatesme
Good morning, folks! I'm assuming from the tiny stack of notes I was just handed that everyone spent yesterday hiding in their rooms and pretending they'd never picked up a phone. From the messages I got, I think some of you are even weirder than I thought, and I don't know whether to be worried or impressed.

Anyway, classes went on as usual today. The Mad Kings and Queens class had a movie day to learn about Idi Amin Dada, the Practical Mythology class learned about the Trojan War by being in Danger Shop-created Troy and then played with puppies and kittens to balance out the war bit, and in What Was the School Board Thinking, the students had to go to a Danger Shop-created Disneyland, dress up in character suits, and deal with small children. Okay, that's just mean, seriously.

In the dorms, Bruce was going through his voicemail and reporting all the crimes that people had accidentally - I assume - told him about, and Kate dropped by to mock him for the message he'd left her about never wearing a corset, which was a sentiment he still stood by. Ben and Ender explored some of the rooms on the sixth floor and lived to tell the tale, Kenzi had popcorn and Diet Coke to share in the fifth floor common room while she channel surfed, and Jace was in the middle of a texting war with a friend from home when Natalie stopped by to ask Jace about the runes he has on him, and to ask him to come and see her in Petey Sci-Fi on Friday. I think everyone should go see the show, and I'm just going from the cast list and what I know of the movie. I have a feeling it'll be pretty memorable.

And in town, Lion-o was confused by all of the football chatter going on among the staff at Cafe Luke's. Those are all the things the squirrels caught, so I guess that's my cue to get out of here and make sure there's nothing else in my voicemail. Stay safe, everyone!

Good morning, everyone. I'm going to assume that by this point in the week, you've all recovered from last weekend. If you're still hiding under your bed, and somehow listening to this, it's okay to come out now, I promise. Also, if you happen to find my laptop while you're under there, let me know, and I can trade it for the random books I found under my bed this morning.

*chittering*

Yeah, I think it's going to be one of those days.

Good morning, folks! The squirrels have already started drinking, which makes me think it's time to get this show on the road while I can still get them to decipher their writing if I need to.

Good morning, everyone! This is Chloe Sullivan, with your morning news for today. I don't know about you guys, but I'm really glad we're already more than halfway through this week and trucking along through February. I'm done with this cold stuff, and seriously ready for summer.

Yes, I'm ready for summer drinks too. I know how to focus on the important things.

Hello there, whoever's listening this morning. This is Chloe Sullivan with your Thursday news. The squirrels are trying to convince me that it's 5 o'clock somewhere, but I assure you, I'll resist their tiny rum-laden charms until the notes are gone.

Nngghh. Good morning, everyone, this is Chloe Sullivan with all the latest news from the squirrel point of view. Today's lesson is: don't play "I Never" with the adults here if you have something to do the next morning, because that's just a recipe for pain.

Ooh, unless there's a nice squirrel who will find coffee for you. That'll help immensely.
