--yes, I remember what to do, don't worry.

Uh, hi everyone. This is Kira Yukimura. I think our regular Friday people are among the missing, so the squirrels--who could have been a little nicer, for the record--asked me to come in. There weren't any classes at the school yesterday, 'cause we're kind of in an emergency situation? But there were plenty of people at the library, and if you're not busy you should totally join us because Kenzie's really... well, maybe nice isn't exactly the right word, but it seems like she cares a lot, and it looks like Tali figured out how to mess with the simulation program that's holding everyone, so who knows what we'll figure out today!

Over in the dorms, Lottie was working on hacking as well, but she kept getting distracted by all the pets she's taking care of. Aww, that's such a good idea! In town, Agent Washington was hanging out on the roof of Freedom Arms to watch the ship, and Agent York joined him while they bickered about what to do. Apparently, the words "rocket launcher" were involved, but that seems a little drastic.

That's all the notes I have, so I'm heading back to the library, and hopefully I'll see some of you there. Bye!

Um, good morning! This is... not Mr. Barton, obviously. This is Kira, and the squirrels seem really adamant that I read these notes so... I'm just gonna do that. Okay. So in town, Derek was complaining about the summer, and Stiles teased him but also promised they could move to a ranch and raise chickens. I just need a minute for that mental image, sorry. At Wonka's, Flick was dealing with senioritis, and got a visit from Isabelle, who told him that she's working at Wonka's as well before they got to talking about the future. Jono went to open Groovy Tunes, but turned into a snake, and then he got taunted by Bob. Hey, being turned into an animal stinks. You probably shouldn't mess with one that has fangs. At The Gig, Dani was bruised up after being thrown off of a horse that had gotten spooked by a gremlin, and at the beach, Mabel was walking her dog when she turned into a magpie. At least that's less creepy than a snake? Finally, at Caritas, Mike was in a great mood and made a bunch of stripper-themed specials.

It looks like the squirrels are going to let me go now, so I'm going to run before they change their mind. Bye!

Hey everyone, this is Kira aaaand this broadcast is probably going to be a little short because I don't have any notes. Why don't I have any notes?!

*chittering*

Ooh, yeah, I guess this is going to be a big day with all the new people coming--

*louder chittering*

Yes, of course you guys deserve vacation days too. I didn't mean to sound demanding, I just--

*even more chittering*

Okay I get it! Yesterday was probably a good day to take a break. And I hope people did lots of secret things that they wouldn't have gotten away with otherwise.

*low, annoyed chittering*

I am not rude, so there. Anyway, I'm going to sign off and go to the picnic to meet all the new people, and you all should come too. See you there!

Hi everyone! This is Kira, and I hope you all had a really great holiday, or are still having a really great holiday. We do still have a whole week without classes, after all. It looks like people are still off with their families and stuff from this stack of notes. Let's see, in the dorms, Celia was trying to assemble the telescope she got for Christmas--ooh, cool!--but the instructions were kind of awful and Ichabod wasn't really a help because he was playing with the phone Celia got him and taking pictures and sending texts. At least, until Celia mentioned her roommate is gone for the break aaand I think we can all figure out what happened from there without me going into detail, yeah? Out in town, Ms. Pryde was reading her new book at the Perk, but couldn't get peace and quiet with noisy baristas. How rude.

That's all I have here, so I'll let everyone get back to their own peace and quiet. Bye!

Hi guys! This is Kira, and I'm not sure how many people are still around to listen to this, but I haven't gotten dragged out of town for the holiday break yet, so here goes. Over in the dorms, Gwen didn't let her surprise Santa hat get in the way of packing for the break, and Eleanor stopped by Joker's room and told him she loved him, which is apparently a new thing. I assume the squirrels mean the saying-it-out-loud part, and awww. In town, Allie had her Santa hat on at the Devil's Nest, where she was researching motorcycles. Ms. Pryde came by, and she and Allie got caught up and talked about people moving away from the island, and Ms. Pryde's adventures going home for Hanukkah. Here's hoping that everyone else who's heading home has... well, not an adventurous time, but a good one. Bye everyone!

Hi everyone! This is Kira, and I'm about to say something I never thought I'd say--I'm really glad to be here. Can I say last week sucked without getting censored? I hope so, because it sucked sucked sucked.

Ahem. Now that that's all behind us, let's see what notes I have today. Okay, it was the last day of finals at school, and the How to Be a Spy teachers told their students they were terrible spies. Really? With such good teachers, how could they have failed? Anyway, their final was to come up with a mission based on a map. The American History class got an actual multiple choice and essay test for a final - wow, I didn't think anyone did that! - and afterwards, Kathy asked Mr. Lyman for a letter of recommendation for college. And I'm sure he said yes because she's awesome. Dr. Lecter wanted the Gourmet Cooking students to make up their assignment that happened when everything was awful last week and they, of course, had to make a meal for their final. Dr. Lecter also told Elsa she could bring Barry for her makeup. If it involves more food, I think it should be open to everyone, just saying.

At the dorms, Anders was practicing making fire and accidentally burned his blanket, and Edward stopped in and they tried to figure out where all the random candles that were around came from. The weird place everything on this island comes from, I guess. Kathy got a present from home, and didn't open it so she could finish her homework first, which is way more self control than I could ever have. In town, Ms. Adler was working on her syllabus for next semester and doing some online Christmas shopping, and Ms. Pryde came in and they also tried to figure out the candles before getting caught up on the respective drama in their lives. It would be nice if they didn't have any, like a nice holiday break, right? Finally, Allie was twitchy at the Devil's Nest because the bartop was covered in candles and yeah, I can see how that might be a little freaky. But there's no note about anything burning down, so that's good.

That's everything the squirrels caught so that's my cue to get out of here. Bye!

Good morning, everyone! This is Kira, hoping you all had a nice Thanksgiving that didn't involve relatives asking you invasive questions about whether or not you have a boyfriend at your new school, or being horribly racist and terrible people. Thank goodness for pie, I'm just going to put that out there. It looks like things were quiet yesterday - the only notes I have are that Atton was taking a walk in the park when he got what seemed like a very uncomfortable phone call from home, and Allie had a quiet shift at the Devil's Nest, aside from the Christmas music the DJ was playing. Hey, Santa showed up at the end of the Thanksgiving Day parade, so I think it's safe to break out the holiday music, right? Right. Anyway, that's all for me for this week, so I'll see--er, talk to you guys next week. Bye!

Hey guys, I don't know who's listening to this today since, well, I think some of you are too little to listen to news. But here I go anyway, because something about this day should be normal. At the school, the How to Be a Spy class was surprisingly unhorrible, and the students just had to pretend to be kittens to learn how to move through air ducts. The American History class had a movie day, and the Beginning Gourmet Cooking students learned how to not poison people with meat, specifically normal meats like chicken and beef, and Elsa talked with Mr. Lecter about how easy cooking is once you know the basics.

Over at the dorms, Joker was trying to watch a gaming competition and Christmas shop at the same time - oh god, I am so not ready to even think about Christmas shopping yet - and then Eleanor came by dressed up really nicely and they ended up... having some nice boyfriend/girlfriend time and I'm leaving it at that. In town, Kenzi had the cooks at Luke's make food with a Disney theme - that would have probably gone over well with all the kids today - and at the Devil's Nest, Allie had to try to avoid the gremlins playing cards in the lounge. That sounds like a really awful way to spend an evening... and those are all the notes so I think I'd better get out of here and see what's going on back at the dorms. Have a... safe weekend, I guess?

--I'm here, I'm here--and apparently so are all of you. Uh, hi everyone, Kira here, and I'm sorry we're starting a little late this morning. I kiiiind of overslept after being up late last night for... very important reasons.

*chittering*

People were being horribly wrong on Tumblr, that totally counts as important. Sooo, anyway, let's see what this little stack of notes says. In the How to Be a Spy class, the students--OH MY GOD, of all the things I never wanted to see in a note for this class, the word "nude" is right up there. Apparently, the students saw one of their teacher's leaked nudes and I am so, so sorry, and then they "teleconferenced" on Chatroulette and probably saw more naked people and I am so, so, so sorry. The American History class talked about black-white relations in the US, which is somehow a less painful topic than the previous one, and the students had to discuss why race is so hard to talk about. The Beginner Gourmet Cooking class learned how to not poison anybody with old food - I'd think it'd be important to not poison anyone with any food but that might just be me - and Minako apologized to Mr. Lecter for missing class last week due to being a puppy.

Miss Electroclash had a surprise gingerbread house on her desk, which seems like a weird thing to be randomly gifted, and Mr. Lecter got all of his invitations ready for his Thanksgiving dinner. And that seems to be everything so I'm going to get out of here, go back to bed, and try not to think about naked teachers. Ugh, I'm just making it worse, aren't I? Sorry!

Good morning! This is Kira Yukimura and... is everyone okay out there? I mean, I realize you can't actually answer me through the radio, but my walk over here was kind of... off, I don't know. Anyway, let's see what notes we've got today, shall we? Up at the school, the How to Be a Spy students got a movie day while their teachers slept under a blanket together. That could go to a weird place and I'm just not going to let it. The American History class talked about the 19th and 20th Congresses and how awful they were, probably inspired by the election results from this week, and the Beginner Gourmet Cooking class learned about mother sauces which sounds kind of like a real thing, and kind of like a way to swear at someone without really swearing at them, you know?

It doesn't look like anything fun happened in the dorms, but in town, Stiles and Derek celebrated Derek's birthday - hey, I don't think he told anyone it was his birthday! Which is... not surprising, but still! So, everyone make sure you wish Derek a happy birthday, even though he and Stiles celebrated already with Chinese food and action movies. While Jack and Emma were coming back from El Burrito Loco, Emma stopped being an ermine - oh no, outside is the worst place for that! But Jack was super nice and gave her his sweater and hopefully their walk back home was short. Lastly, Allie had a slow shift at the Devil's Nest and spent most of it reading the news on her phone.

Thaaat appears to be everything, so that's my cue to sign off. Have a good weekend everyone... you know, hopefully.

Good morning! This is Kira Yukimura, very glad to be reporting from somewhere that's not terribly cold this week.

*chittering*

I know it'll be winter soon enough, but it's not winter now, so let me enjoy this. Let's see what today's notes say. At the school, the How to Be a Spy teachers realized they actually had students this week and pretended to be ghosts. Of course they did. They ended up shoving random paperwork at the students, like that's a thing ghosts do. Celia filled in for Mr. Lyman at American History and brought everyone to a Danger Shopped version of 1880's New York. They got to explore and Raven tried on a dress and Celia got to explain to her how to sit in it. The Beginner Gourmet Cooking class went to a butcher shop to learn about cuts of meat, and the Student Council met to talk about Homecoming, which is... next weekend? Oh no, I've got to find a dress. And, you know, decide if I want to even go.

In town, Barry and Elsa had a date out at the old campground--awwww!--and Sparkle spent his time at Dite's Decadent Delights dressing up the giant metal rooster in a Halloween costume and singing Petey Sci-Fi songs. Atton saw Sparkle singing and decided to not go inside - it couldn't have been that bad, could it? - and Minako came by to check on Sparkle after the Student Council meeting, and also to be able to say she'd been in the store. I can't think of a reason to visit that particular store, but maybe seeing the rooster is a good incentive? Ms. Adler was still under the weather, but was fixing that with pumpkin-flavored tea at the Perk, and Ms. Pryde checked on her when she came in, and they talked about Ms. Pryde's other job at her other school--whoa, busy--and what else they do when they're not working.

That looks like it's everything the squirrels caught, so I'm going to head out and leave these little guys to their rum. Have a good weekend, everyone!

Hi everyone, this is Kira Yukimura again. You know, I thought that being warned about inevitably waking up as a guy since like, day one in Fandom would have prepared me for today and yet no, not so much. Thankfully, this stack of notes looks way smaller than last week's so I can hopefully retreat back to the dorms quickly.

Kira: Good morning! This is Kira Yukimura and holy wow, there are a lot of notes here.

Noshiko: Ahem.

Kira: Oh yeah, and my mom's here because she followed me out of the hotel this morning.

Noshiko: I asked where you were going and you wouldn't tell me. You left me with no other choice.

Kira: Okay, but look around, Mom. Would you have believed me if I'd told you?

Noshiko: ...possibly not. Go ahead, do your job. I will not bother you, I promise.

Yeah, like that's going to happen... )

Good morning! This is Kira Yukimura again and I'm starting to really understand squirrel handwriting. I haven't decided yet if this is good or bad.

Over in the school, the How to Be a Spy class had intoxicated teachers, which seems like a terrible thing that shouldn't be allowed to happen. Apparently, the lesson was on drinking in spywork, and Anders reached the point where he just couldn't deal with the class anymore while everyone else mixed their own drinks. I think I'm with Anders on this one. In American History, Mr. Lyman talked about how people from Texas are dumb... oh, about textbooks. I thought he meant in general. Everyone got to talk about how awful Texas is, and then got a pop quiz on states and capitals. The Beginning Gourmet Cooking class covered cooking with oil, and Ms. Pryde was conducting some flame wars on the internet from her office.

The student council also had their first meeting in the afternoon. Gwen was confused about how she'd ended up there - Alana tried to convince her to stay, Minako said it's because Gwen's awesome, but Principal Winchester gave Gwen the form she got which was apparently filled out by the squirrels. Aww, that's not nice to do to someone! Sparkle ended up as the council president, which I think says a lot about how cool this place is, and then they got down to business to plan... Parents' Weekend? Oh no, I thought I had more time to mom-proof my life.

Okay, anyway, in the dorms, Rapunzel was reading a bunch of art books when Edward stopped by for a visit, and they talked about Rapunzel's trip to an art museum with Barry and how everyone is going to go blind from staring at their phones. Hey, I read books too and they give me just as much eyestrain, so there. Eleanor was having some quality cat cuddling time when Celia came to check on her with booze and ice cream. Aww, that's an awesome friend. Anders came by to talk to Eleanor but was totally taken in by her cat, and he assured her that he wasn't mad about anything that happened on their trip away. Joker also tried to check on Eleanor, but she told him she was busy. Cat cuddling does not count as busy in this case, for real. In the evening, Barry made s'mores for dessert to give to Elsa, who came over for dinnerWHOA that was a glittery flag.

*chittering*

Yes, I think they're adorable too, you don't need to flag me in the face! Anyway, Elsa came over with food, and they talked about their friends and everything that went down last weekend. Over in town, Allie was streaming the Barry Plodder series at The Devil's Nest--I want her data plan, seriously--and Jessica came back to town and gave the guy behind the counter at J,GOB a difficult time about his moustache. Aww, that's not a very nice thing to do to a person who makes food for you.

And... wait, no, that's the end of the notes. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Hey guys, this is Kira Yukimura, and I'm so glad more of you know that this week. I'm starting to get a better handle on squirrel handwriting, so let's see if I can figure out this little stack of notes without messing anything up. At the school, Mr. Lyman had to cancel American History because he's sick, and How to Be a Spy and Gourmet Cooking got to watch movies. Movie days are the best days. Also, Ms. Pryde was doing a lot of planning in her office.

In town, Eleanor, Joker, Anders, Jono, Celia, and Raven rode a submarine away from the island, which sounds seriously cool but Barry seemed kind of worried about it, so maybe not? In the park, Roland was singing a song about a unicorn, and Mike was whistling with the zombies at Caritas, which hopefully isn't a sign of a strange music thing about to happen. I worry about these things all the time now. Also, Johnny and Minako... I think this says they went on a date to Il Pollo, but the note has a ridiculous amount of glitter on it. Thankfully, that's the last note in the stack, so I'm going to get out of here before too much glitter sticks to me. Bye everyone!

Ow! Did you just hit me with a rum bottle?

*angry chittering*

What? No, I'm not a thief. I'm Kira, remember? You dragged me in here last week, so I thought I'd come by and see if you needed help again today. Are those the notes? Has anyone come by to read them?

*nervous chittering*

Okay, why don't I sit down and take care of these, and then I'll get out of your way. I promise, I won't touch your rum. As long as you don't hit me with it again.
