Fandom Radio, Saturday, October 18
Good morning! This is Kira Yukimura, very glad to be reporting from somewhere that's not terribly cold this week.
*chittering*
I know it'll be winter soon enough, but it's not winter now, so let me enjoy this. Let's see what today's notes say. At the school, the How to Be a Spy teachers realized they actually had students this week and pretended to be ghosts. Of course they did. They ended up shoving random paperwork at the students, like that's a thing ghosts do. Celia filled in for Mr. Lyman at American History and brought everyone to a Danger Shopped version of 1880's New York. They got to explore and Raven tried on a dress and Celia got to explain to her how to sit in it. The Beginner Gourmet Cooking class went to a butcher shop to learn about cuts of meat, and the Student Council met to talk about Homecoming, which is... next weekend? Oh no, I've got to find a dress. And, you know, decide if I want to even go.
In town, Barry and Elsa had a date out at the old campground--awwww!--and Sparkle spent his time at Dite's Decadent Delights dressing up the giant metal rooster in a Halloween costume and singing Petey Sci-Fi songs. Atton saw Sparkle singing and decided to not go inside - it couldn't have been that bad, could it? - and Minako came by to check on Sparkle after the Student Council meeting, and also to be able to say she'd been in the store. I can't think of a reason to visit that particular store, but maybe seeing the rooster is a good incentive? Ms. Adler was still under the weather, but was fixing that with pumpkin-flavored tea at the Perk, and Ms. Pryde checked on her when she came in, and they talked about Ms. Pryde's other job at her other school--whoa, busy--and what else they do when they're not working.
That looks like it's everything the squirrels caught, so I'm going to head out and leave these little guys to their rum. Have a good weekend, everyone!
