Fandom Radio, Saturday, October 11

Is this really going to work? Wow, no wonder you little guys have been so busy lately...

Okay, uh, good morning from Skyrim! I was kind of hoping the squirrels wouldn't find me this morning, but it seems I still have to work. Let's see what the notes say this time... okay, back in Fandom, Ms. Poovey and Ms. Tunt... tried to teach their spying class? Until they realized everyone was gone? Which was apparently something they realized today? How are they even alive with that much alcohol in them? It's unreal. Eliot had a dislocated shoulder at Luke's, but still served Vic even though she teased him. Rude. Finally, Allie was enjoying a quiet night at the Devil's Nest with a book. See, why can't all the notes be nice like that? It's up to you guys to make it happen.

Here in Riften, it was really nice out, but Edward didn't want to leave his room. They are pretty adorable rooms, I have to say. Nathan got food and hung out in the common room, and in town, Travis and Four looked at weapons in the marketplace. Four gave Travis some advice about using a weapon while Travis explained to Four how water guns work. Barry's scanner wasn't working on potions, so he wasn't sure what to buy, and Raven suggested he get one for haggling so he could get better prices on the others. That's smart! If it works, I mean. No one got married at the Temple of Mara, much to the squirrels' dismay, but Johnny did ask our Mara if she's been showing her ID to people to get them to worship her. He would totally do that, wouldn't he? Over at Mistveil Keep, Anders had a talk with a townsperson about magic, and Mr. Skywalker and Ms. Pryde made sure no one they knew was in the jail. I... guess it couldn't have hurt to check that? Outside of Riften, Cosette accidentally walked into someone's house when they weren't home, and apologized by cooking a meal that would be there when they got back. Aww, that was sweet of her. Some people went over to Whiterun to practice with weapons and stuff, and Rory was kind of jealous of Ms. Pryde's weapons skills since she's not too good with them. There was also a tour of the Rift, where Johnny taught some of the locals why they shouldn't try to mug him. I'm going to assume "Because stealing is wrong" wasn't actually on the list.

Then, last night, there was this festival in town to celebrate winter and something called a Dragonborn. There were candles and flowers and a really cool choir that Minako loved and soooo much good food. Edward was in a good mood and managed to be civil to Ichabod for about four seconds, which looks like it might be a record from the tone of this note. Rapunzel let some little kids braid her hair, and Edward drunkenly invited her to dance, to see if the braid held up. Cosette and Gwen were amazed at how much food there was, and were glad they managed to be around while a party was going on. Ichabod had some nice conversations with the locals, Edward impressed Nathan with his vast knowledge of different alcohols, and Flick managed to make it out of the common room to join the festivities. Gwen checked on Johnny to make sure he hadn't gotten married, either accidentally or on purpose, Atton was hanging out away from the crowd until a hot Nord woman he'd encountered before found him again, and Ms. Pryde was trying wines until she ran into Clint, and they talked about all the things they'll need to catch up on next week. I guess that means this break really is almost over, but it's not done quite yet, so I'm going to get out of here and enjoy our last full day. Have a good one!
