*chittering*

No. Not really.

*chittering*

I actually thought you'd decided to stop bothering me. Sadly, I'm not that lucky.

Let's see, the only School news, was Shenanigans, where 'sharing was chairing', where the voluntolds had to share an increasingly smaller number of chairs. I'm sure it all ended in tears, or random passers-by being flung at Anakin. Possibly both.

Nothing much for the Dorms, while in Town, it was date night at the boarding house, and at Caritas ice-cream jello was the flavour of the day. In between the usual nonsense on stage, Atton was quite negative about the jello theme, which might be why Summer sought reassurance from Rey, Stark was mostly relieved there were no horrors, and Stewart was there.

*sounds of porgly excitement and also fireworks*

Not inside! Who even gave those to you? How did you set them off without thumbs? Why am I even trying to understand this?

At least you didn't set the notes on fire. Or anything else considering the fumes.

Up at the School, the Library was decorated for Halloween, confusing both Gray and everyone listening.

Meanwhile Shenanigans involved a greasy pole, and free Moobyland as s prize, truly a puzzle as to which was the worse option. Though for some bizarre reason one of the Steves was in the stands and very sad about missing out, the voluntolds prepared themselves, and not even the horrors were enough to stop the inevitable flirting. And then there was the Pole, were only a few, namely Jaina, Eleanor, non sad Steve, and Vi, made it across to claim their dubious prize, though Lydia did get a pair of water wings out of it. Not that I have any idea what they are, but I'm assuming they also lack basic dignity. Also, Belle did not hug Anakin.

Over in the Dorms, put that firework down, or rather just outside them Lydia's walk of shame crossed pasths with Charlie's walk of no shame. Good for them, I guess.

In Town, Pick Your Poison was decorated for Christmas, just to spread the confusion around. Rey offered to help Adrian undecorate, while Lydia wanted henbane for 'non poison reasons', and why do I have a random parchment that reads 'don't eat the nutbread, not even once' mixed in here? Prompto gave his child a camera at Furnado. Harley did her washing and Mark was there. Everything was butterfly themed at Caritas, including the singing. Rey appreciated the colours, Atton was there, Stewart did not bring suspicious brownies or dubious nutbread, but Stark did bring cupcakes.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
That's everything?

*chittering*

Quiet day.

Up at the School, the only things that was happening was Shenanigans down in the park, where Anakin inflicted socks upon the voluntolds, which needless to say certain people used as an excuse for flirting, because they cannot get a room, Stewart was very attached to his 'adorable shark' socks, baffling Hannibal. Then everyone had to balance tanks of mysterious liquid on their feet, to varying levels of success.

Nothing for the Dorms, while in Town, Adrian dipped his wick making candles at Pick Your Poison, while at Caritas, Tino implied there were others like him by claiming it was his brother's birthday, though neither person taking the stage seemed inclined to celebrate. Stark was...awkward, Stewart brought along dubious brownies, and Atton was remarkably judgemental for someone who deals with his problems by faking his death.

*chittering*

Oh, I know I am, but I've never done that.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
No.

*thud*

*chittering*

No. Notes. Now.

Up at the School, Arden napped in the Library while Cal tried not to wake her. Which could have been cute or creepy.

Anakin inflicted rubber chicken tag upon Shenanagins, again. The minglers mingled, while amongst the voluntolds, Kitty felt personally attacked, even though she got picked to hit people with pool noodles, Vi explained her case of deja vu to Flint before flirting with Steph, giving me deja vu, Isabela explained how it was a sex thing to Sam, as you do, while Ignis and Flint considered their lost dignity. And then everyone ran around with rubber chickens on their feet trying to avoid getting smacked with pool noodles. As you do.

AS usual, nothing happened in the Dorms, while in Town, Adrian dealt with an aggressive phone caller at Pick Your Poison while Pamela suggested violence as the solution. Over at Caritas, there were all the limes. All of them, Stark was impressed by tiny pies, while Atton judged the limes, which I guess clears up the zombie clone question.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
Oh, it's you again not Leroy.

*chittering*

The fact I know Leroy's name is enough of a hardship. Let's see what's been happening.

Unsurprisingly, it's been another quiet week up at the School, with the only sign of life being Arden in the Library, which is still more activity than in the Dorms.

Over in Town, there was drama at Furnado about noodles in fishtanks, but Liliana heroically saved the day. I doubt anyone really wants to know how that happened. Summer was smug enough at Caritas to put Tino in a mood, and I can't say I disapprove on principle. Her patrons for the evening included...an entire argument about whether Atton was a zombie or a clone, because apparently we needed enough squirrels there to have that fight, Stark, who wondered about robots with hair dye, and Percy and his burgeoning pop rock addiction.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
...you're not Leroy.

*chittering*

No, I don't want to know, and I'm certain we're all better off that way.

Let's see, it's a break week, so the only thing happening at the School was Arden being 'creepily cheerful' in the Library and getting waffles from Gray.

The Dorms were still quiet, while in Town, Furnado was very much not. Weird snacks took over the Movie Theatre, while it was Date Night at the boarding house. The Devil's Nest was full of mystery booze, while Caritas was full of denim. The answer to that mystery was, as always, Tino. Rey had many questions, Stark was fine, and Raiden was focused on breakfast.

And look what a pleasant experience this was without Leroy.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
*aggrieved chittering*

No, you have only yourself to blame, and also, I don't care.

It was finals week up at the School, where 2 British 2 Bake relaxed with a movie and each other's food, and Bettering Your Community went to a nude beach. As you do.

The Dorms continued their quiet streak, while in Town, it was date night at Lucifier's, and "clout chasing jello" night at Caritas, where Rey came by for a drink and to admire the jello, and was immediately hit up for caf by Anakin, who was accompanying Stark in to buy him a drink to apologise for 'throwing him off a building', and I am not reading any of that colour commentary Leroy, because once again, I do not care what you think. Anakin also informed Summer that the shirts were arriving, just in case anyone was hoping he'd forgotten. also came by for a drink. Presumably clothed.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
I'd ask why Leroy is pickling himself in a bucket of rum, but I don't actually care.

Up at the School, Introduction to Palaeontology went fossil hunting, 2 Baking 2 American went festive, and Bettering Your Community went littering. Arden was on her phone in the Library and got a visit from "pizza!".

The Dorms continued the trend of being quiet, while in Town, Summer was not a squirrel at Caritas. Ah. Rey came by to talk insurance fraud, Summer did more texting, and judging by the general incoherence of these notes, Stark was also there.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
*chittering*

That's none of your concern, Leroy.

*chittering*

No, I didn't.

Moving on, up at the School, Introduction to Palentology discussed tribades, actually I'm pretty sure they didn't, but that's what someone wrote, while British-American Bake-Off tackled fancy French pastries, and Bettering Your Community did some "red-hot" arts and crafts.

Arden was watching videos in the Library when she got visits from Cal and Gray one of which involved "smooching".

Nothing much happened in the Dorms, while in Town, Quinn was at the Perk, having coffee and conversation with Hannibal, and it was date night at the boarding house.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
Looks like it was another quiet day.

*chittering*

I can find something to complain about if you keep going, Leroy.

Let's see...up at the School, Introduction to Palaeontology found their backbones, Bake-Off But American found out who could cut the custard, and Bettering Yourself took a nap. Things were well-behaved in the Library, except for all the makeouts.

The Dorms continued to be deserted, while in Town, Octavia tided up at the Devil's Nest, while at Caritas, both Summer and Stark somehow resisted the delights Tino had on offer. Somehow.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
That's a short stack of notes this week.

*chittering*

Do I sound like I was complaining?

*chittering*

I always sound like...watch it, Leroy.

Up at the School, there were explosions in Introduciton to Palaeontology, microwaves in British-American Bake-Off, and bloodstains in Bettering Your Community, so a normal enough day. There was some kind of snake uprising in the Library, along with visits from Kamala and Gray.

Nothing happened in the Dorms, while in Town, Octavia was mostly trying to get rid of the green drinks at the Devil's Nest.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
What are you...actually, no, I don't want to know what all the handkerchiefs and butter knives are for.

Up at the School, Introduction to Palaeontology had a fossil field trip, Not Bake-Off went Irish, and Building Better Communities went dog-walking, while the Library didn't go anywhere, but there was storytime.

Nothing happened in the Dorms, while in Town, thing were twitchy at the Devil's Nest, and green at Caritas, not that this was off-putting to Stark, Liliana, or Ignis.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
*chittering*

Oh, overjoyed. Can't you tell.

Let's see, classes were back on at the School, except for Introduction to Palaeontology, which was cancelled. British Bake-Off But For Americans had a tropical theme, after they presented their pre-break bakes of course, there were donuts and something called butter mochi. Building Better Communities were at the library, again, while at the actual Library, Arden was slacking.

The Dorms continued their being quiet streak, while in Town, Caritas saw Summer having deep thoughts about the secret menu, secret menu, secret secret menu, yeah, while texting, Rey was recovering from break, and Stark made plans to find more beach.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
Why are you here?

*chittering*

Yes, I figured that much, but why in my shower specifically.

*chittering*

Fair. She is scarier, and that's highly attractive. At least tell me the notes are waterproof.

*chittering*

Sometimes I don't even know why I try. Let's see. Looks like nothing much happened back on the Island, while over here on Break, the morning kicked off with various actives around the hotel, like Kitty getting breakfast, Summer enjoying the spa, and Vi and Steph doing beach. Further afield, Arden, Graham, Charlie, and Belle had adventures at the Eco-Park, while Eleanor and Surreal enjoyed nature at the Gardens.

*chittering*

Because I don't enjoy nature. Rey explored Holetown and I am not dignifying anything else written here, while Cutter and Connor tried one of the non-hotel restaurants.

Later in the evening, pretty much the only thng of note was Summer's room party, though Arden and Cal, and Liliana and Ignis both enjoyed private rendezvous elsewheres. Amongst the people showing up for Summer's Party were Stewart, Rey, Gladio and Nell, Stark, Ignis and Liliana putting in a appearance before their date, Steve, and Jon, and it can be assumed at all kinds of jello based debauchery took place.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
Yes, you probably should get that looked at.

No. By someone not me. I don't know, a vet.

In any case, for news not involving squirrel flashers. Up at the Introduction to Paleontology talked about...science. Not The British Bake-Off went from jello to chocolate, while Bettering Your Community went to a library, but not the Library, which was...full of bats. As well as Kamala and Gray.

Nothing much at the Dorms, while in Town, Adrian was in his grove when he got a visit from Pam and her drama, it was definitely not shirtless Wednesday at the Devil's Nest, and at Caritas Tino set up a jello pit tug-of-war, and those are words that I had to read. Witnesses to this crime against good taste included Rey, Stark, and Dean, apparently non of whom considered an intervention.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
I'm not going to ask what has been happening in here, because I don't want to know, I'm just going to be vary glad I can deliver this broadcast standing up and not touching anything.

*chittering*

I said I don't want to know.

Up at the School, Tony was absent from No Brit, No Bake probably because theme of the week was marzipan and jello molds. Bettering Your Community was cancelled, while in the Library, Arden had to deal with kissing books, Gray's fake ID problems and Cal being a eunuch.

The Dorms were still quiet, while in Town, Tony brought Steve a large sausage, which certainly beats the jello horrors. The Devil's Nest had dirty ice cubes and a shirtless Eric, but all the action was at Caritas, where Summer had a spray bottle and Navaan made an appearance. So even beyond the general flirting of everyone with everyone, just assume that everything I'm about say has the phrase 'and Navaan hit on them' repeated after it. So let's see, Stark was confident, Sabine commented on double entendres or the lack thereof, Percy wore a mask and needed a straw, Harley was...bouncy, Liliana was smug, and Arthur was confused about whether Navaan needed saving or not.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
I see from the whole two post-its that it was a slow day yesterday.

Up at the School, Introduction to Palaeontology had a movie day, Not The British Bake-Off showed off gingerbread houses before having a pie day, and Better Communities focused on self-care.

Nothing happened in the Dorms, while in Town Summer was moodily celebrating the Year of the Snake at Caritas, along with Rey and Stark, when she got a cheese delivery.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
No, Leroy, we are not having a rum tasting. Or anything involving rum. Or squirrel, ideally.

Up at the School, Intro to Palaeontology explained that the Earth is 'old as balls', while the Not-British Bake-Off was all about cookies, except for where it was about bread, and Better Your Community had to clean up gremlin porridge.

The Dorms continued lack of activity makes the intern, while in Town, Lucifer showed off his renovations, while the cotton candy machine at Caritas was gone, possibly to Lucifer's basement. Summer assured Stark that she was Totally Fine about this.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
*chittering*

My ideal...oh, that's easy. Not having to put up with you, Leroy.

Up at the School, Intro to Palentology intro-ed the fossil record, while Bake-Off focused on bread and butter, at least after showing off their cakes of which Kitty's was apparently the best. They made two kinds of bread, as well as getting a homework assignment to...okay, now Leroy is just making things up.

Bettering Your Community went over to the mainland to help out at an animal shelter, and it was "too hot, hot damn" in the Library.

It was a quiet day in the Dorms, while in Town, Octavia had to deal with Tiny's bright ideas at the Devil's Nest, while Caritas was all about celebrating Stark's birthday. Luckily, Stark was actually there to receive well wishes from Summer and a bunch of other people, amongst those turning up were Watts, Rey, Anakin, and Steven.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
Well, I guess it's time for another wonderful semester of reporting. I know it's the highlight of my week.

*chittering*

No.

Up at the School, it's introduction week, so Introduction to Palentology did introductions. The Great British Bakeoff, But American, and I am not saying that every week, chose cakes of varying quality over introductions, while it was back to introductions for Bettering Your Community and Yourself, and Liliana dropped by, I assume to explain that she wasn't in the class because she's already perfect.

Arden was cold in the Library-

*chittering*

Fine. The Librrr-ary, now you can all deal with that pun. Kamala and Gray both stopped in and agreed it was very cold indeed.

The Dorms were quiet, while over in Town, it was date night for Watts and Steven, while over at Caritas, Tino had already abandoned his resolutions. Shocking. Rey was having a quiet start to the year, Percy had ingot trouble, and Stark caught Summer up on his classes.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
I see none of you had the resolution of not waking me up before dawn reeking of rum.

Let's see if anything happened yesterday.

Nothing at the School. Nothing in the Dorms. A couple of things in Town, where Prompto spent his time trying to convince the animals at Furnado to commit to resolutions. He seems to have missed the squirrels. Bucky decided to solicit Jesse's opinion on his new haircut, and finally at Caritas, Summer learned the dangers of extending Tino goodwill, while Stark learned the dangers of having too many opinions on the jello. So you can blame him for whatever horrors appear next week.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
*overly cheerful chittering*

Given the smell, I'm just going to assume you started drinking after yesterday's broadcast and just haven't stopped.

Nothing at the School or the Dorms because it's break week, and several of the big midwinter holidays are going on, so most people weren't even on the island.

Town was also fairly quiet, with the Fair in the Park mostly being attended by Jon getting his drink on. Nell and Gladio stayed in, as did, Cala and Arden, and one of the Stevens and Watts.

And that's what a rum-soaked squirrel dragged me out of bed for.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
Well, that is a short set of notes. And the intern is already at the rum.

Up at the School, Introduction to Fossils went on a field trip to the Smithsonian for their final, Exploring US History went to the DC Winter Market, and Morality of Action asked the question we've all been asking all along.

Nothing much happened in the Dorms, while in Town, Percy hooked up at the Forge, while it was all Yule Log, no safety concerns at Caritas, where Stark came by to talk about eating cookie dough. Literally, apparently.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
You don't even need a knife. You'd be more of a danger to yourself than anything.

Okay, let's see qwhat you've brought me today. Up at the School, Introduciton to Fossils was all about fossil sharks 'doo, doo, doo', while Exploring US History explored the National Archives and food trucks. Arden was dealing with sugar balls in the Library, when Cal came by with hot chocolate and Gray came by with cookies.

Nothing of note happened in the Dorms, while in Town, Prompto considered his life choices at Furnado, while over in Blackwood Grove, Adrian dealt with Lydia turning back from a kitty. IT was date night at Lucifer's, while both the Devil's Nest and Caritas had issues with sugar balls. Stark was worried about 'cronching' them, Summer texted, Percy was hopelessly optimistic about the island, and Liliana graced everyone with her presence.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
*chittering*

No, it's not going to rain rum next, it never rains rum.

Up at the School, Intro to Fossils watched a movie, while Exploring Us History said screw Reagan right before Tony turned into a cat. Moralilty of Action had Dante show up to make the class rescue a princess and learn a "valuable" lesson. Arden was making present lists in the Library when Gray came to visit and turned into a sloth.

The Dorms were quiet and presumably full of potato, as was Town, where it presented a serious problem at Furnado, it was date night at both the boarding house and Lucifer's, and things were on fire at Caritas, but sadly not Tino, Percy, who is new, apparently, discovered the joys of alcoholic jello, something Yelena in particular was there for, though she probably didn't expect Logan to turn into a wolverine on her. Stark was worried about latkes, Dante and Kathy made an appearance, as did a pre-transformation Logan.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
*chittering*

No, you are one of the things I am least thankful for, Leroy.

Up at the School, Exploring US History was all about death, colonialism, and pie, whereas Morality of Action had another substitute. Not a zombie this time.

Arden was in the library dealing with some...very disturbed turkeys, and getting visits from Kamala and Gray.

Nothing happened at the Dorms, while in Town, it was date night at the boarding house and Lucifer's. Finally, it was a quiet night at the Devil's Nest.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
I see the intern is already into the rum, back to no dorm news I take it?

*chittering*

Figured.

Up at the School, Introduction to Fossils was all about clams, apparently, while Us History followed up the biggest twine with the biggest hole in the ground.

As expected, nothing happened in the Dorms, while in Town, Prompto had a 'chook book ' whatever thet is at Furnado, while Jesse and Bucky were at the Perk. At Caritas, Summer judged Tino's stuffing, and ifI have to read that sentence, you have to have heard it. Yelena wanted all the jello shots and had a discussion about how amazing the squir- seriously, Leroy? Anakin did not learn his lesson about cookie theft, Stark learned that nothing can make up for Tino, Summer texted, and Liliana demanded birthday drinks.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
You know, usually, it's Leroy waking me at some Creator forsaken hour.

*gleeful porg noises*

I see, well, we'll get to that.

First, up at the School, Introduction to Fossils was all about "fossils tol and smol", Exploring American History got lost in one of the many places with a giant ball of twine, and Morality of Action had the teacher pack it in and leave the class with a zombie sub.

*chittering*

You're the ones who kept saying he was dead. In the Library, Arden sent the gremlins to terrorise other classrooms, and Gray dropped in with important questions about side dishes.

Over in the Dorms-

*gleeful porg noises*

- Eleanor had a girlfriend who was a sloth then not a sloth in her room. Given how taht usually goes, they then had either a very awkward or very fun time.

In Town, Bucky was in the Perk, and he got to met Yelena, Logan, Remy, and Thor. It was like some kind of marvellous party in there. At Furnado Prompto was making some kind of poultry related calls, while at Caritas, Tino had unrinsed pizza. Why did you need to specify that? There was a new edition to the zombie band, Stark was equally concerned about the pizza, zombies don't have opinions of pizza and apparently neither did Adrian
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
Why are there so many...I can't even see the microphone.

*chittering*

Well, for once that's actually helpful.

Slow day. Let's see, up at the School, Fossils looked at dead plants, and US History had a movie day. While in the Library, the gremlins had an entirely predictable reaction to Arden not bringing candy.

Nothing in the Dorms, and over in Town, soup was on the menus at Luke's, cozy was the theme of the day at the Perk, where Liliana, Lucifer, and Remy enjoyed half-price comfort drinks. It was datenight at the boarding house, while Caritas continued to have a pillow fort, mostly occupied by Tino. Stark did, however, bring cookies.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
...Leroy, what are you wearing?

*chittering*

No, whoever told you sexy reporter was a good costume idea was lying. And I assume Tino.

Give me the notes, so I don't have to look at you longer than necessary.

Up at the School, classes were back, with Intro to Fossils introducing spineless fossils, US History remembered the Alamo and ate barbecue, while Morality Inaction pondered the obvious setup of throwing paint-balloons at each other, or themselves in Graham's case.

In the Library, Arden bribed the gremlins with sugar, which will cause no problems down the line, while Gray was doing some very important research that Constantine may or may not have had opinions on.

The Dorms continued to be quiet, while in Town, Furnado had an animal costume contest, Senshi had menu plans at Luke's, Adrian got his rocks off in this grove while Pam and Yelena watched, which, they're all adults. Duke and Lucifer had another date night, Tiny wore a stalkerish costume at the Devil's Nest, and Tino was "too much" at Caritas. I could tell you that and have been for years. Dean came by to discuss costumes, which Stark was very much not wearing one of, and I am not reading out that last line Leroy, because you have an actual problem.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
Oh. I suppose it was too much to hope you'd get lost in Canada.

*shuffling paper*

Let's see...here on teh island, the School and Dorms were both deserted. Shocking I know, while in Town, Lucifer and Duke had a date, and the music was loud at the Devil's Nest.

Meanwhile on the Trip, the morning saw Thor, Anakin, and Jon dealing with indoor thunder. I thought it was supposed to be a fancy hotel this time? Kamala was channeling her inner squirrel by hanging around Arden's room like an overvested creeper, Stewart and Gray enjoyed breakfast, and quite a few more people later went for afternoon tea, while Gladio spent most of his time at the gym. When it came to being out and about, whale watching was highly popular, as was the food tour. Summer went shopping, Kamala and Eleanor went on a library date, we have a library here, and Prompto went to the aquarium.

Later that evening, Nell and Gladio stayed in after Nell spent time in the spa, Adrian had to deal with a drunk roomie, Watts and Steven went out for a dinner date, while Steph and Vi did 'drag cabaret karaoke'. Also Summer had a room party, where apparently terrible, horrible things were done to poutine and alcohol. Amongst the witnesses to this event were Stark, Ignis, Dean, Gladio, Yelena, Stewart, Prompto, Adrian, Anakin, and Jon. All of whom, I assume have terrible poutine hangovers today.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)

*chittering*

*more chittering*

*even more chittering*

Well, fascinating as that wasn't, have you actually got my notes for this broadcast.

*sullen chittering*

Quiet day. Up at the School, the Library saw more gremlin crafting, along with Gray going into the stacks...what's a Gandalf and why is Gray like one? Never mind I don't want to know.

Exploring American History explored a park where you shouldn't pet the cows or the elk. Introduction to Fossils looked at that body fossil, and in Morality of Action, Illyana and Liliana had opinions on poorly designed experiments.

Nothing much happened in the Dorms, while in Town, not much happened either. Tino was using disturbing words at Caritas, which narrows nothing down at all, Rey talked with Summer about cat-sitting on break and the whole lot of nothing Yelena spent the day doing. Yelena, meanwhile, had Furnado recommended for dogsitting. Stark suggested ineffectual tortures, which, it's a specialised skill, most people are terrible at it, Yelena was rude about his mask and confused about how many Steves there are, while he and Rey disagreed about bravery, Flint who had not been a parrot asked for rum, which means he was probably a squirrel, pretty much everyone had opinions on his drink of choice because again, squirrels. Finally, Don maybe needs to get out more if he's joking about poisoning the customers. It's Tino who'd be the amusing one to poison.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
Okay, time for radio, what I'm sure is the highlight of your week, because I know it's mine.

*inquisitive chittering*

No. It's not, actually.

Up at the School, Exploring American History had boxed lunches. Thrilling and vital news that. In Intro to Fossils, Cutter explained how radiography proves that the Earth is 'old as balls' and something, something evolution. The increasingly misnamed Morality of Action took the stance that trying to do good may have consequences, so don't, while in the Library, the gremlins were making Halloween decorations. That's not at all ominous.

The porg continues to have no Dorms news to report, while in Town, there was breakfast at the boarding house, and date night later. Pamela was in the preserve being 'weird' at the trees, and was later joined by Octavia. Over at the Parking Lot, Arden had a new second-hand car, and as Dean discovered, no license. Gray explained his brothers don't believe in 'take-backsies', and Charlie was impressed by Arden's new old car. Finally, the Devil's Nest was a Malort free zone.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
Let's get this done before I discover what I have to wrangle this morning.

Up at the School, Exploring American History played a game of statue or pizza? Pizza won. Introduction to Fossils was missing a teacher as Cutter explained how is fossil formed. Finally Morality of Action had to decide if they were helping the poor. I assume the teacher had some sort of judgemental old person rant about that too.

I can tell from the sad look that nothing happened in the Dorms, while in Town, Octavia had gotten rid of someone called Joe at the Devil's Nest, while Caritas was full of beans. I hesitate to ask for more details. Rey was a fan of the beans, and also sisterhood apparently, Stark brought along bean cupcakes, Harley was loud, Logan was reconsidering all his life choices, not that I blame him, Stewart was being 'sketch AF' with a walkman, and Raiden's only complaint was about the portion sizes. Which was apparently a 'him problem'.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
That's everything?

*chittering*

Quiet day.

Up at the School, Exploring American History went to look at a war memorial, which Lydia was disturbed by, while Kamala and Eleanor snuck off for "half-smokes and canoodling". Who even says that, Leroy?

Morality of Action continued not taking action in favour of being shocked to learn there are Jedi on this island and ranting about how the Jedi were back in her day. The students indulged her I assume as a prelude to easing her into a much needed nap.

The Dorms were quiet, over in Town, Prompto played with the fishes in Furnado, while at Caritas Tino made gym pool pudding. Allegedly. Stark was suitably disgusted at the idea, Dean working his way around to Tino being dead to him, Summer texted, and Stewart was trying to figure out which one Tino was. The dumb one. Who is dead to Dean.

*hopeful chittering*

No, once was more than enough.

*chittering*

Yes, well, he's too nice for his own good. I'm not. Now hand over the notes.

Let's see, up at the School, nothing was happing in the Library, at least not until Kamala showed up with a care package from home to share, and Gray came by to explain what specific kind of club he was taking her to, and I will leave those specifics up tot he imagination.

Introduction to Fossils introduced the fossil record, while Exploring American History were given the choice of a cracked bell or cheesesteaks, and unsurprisingly immediately went for the latter. In Morality of Action, they were told to play dodgeball as a test of character while the teacher glared-

*chittering*

I mean, radiated disdain at them from the bleachers, Liliana had questions. She's not the only one.

The Dorms were once again quiet, and in Town Senshi had mimic on the menu at Luke's, Ignis and Liliana had a beach date, and Watts and Steven stayed in.

Tino wanted Summer to eat his pie at Caritas, and I hate everyone for making that sentence exist so I had to read it. Stark was much more interested in Summer's pie, and that's what you get Leroy, and finally, if there's a Malort monster in the sewers we can all blame Dean.

[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
Why are you even drunker than usual?

*chittering*

I know it's a new semester, that's why you should be drinking less. Why do I even bother, just giver me the notes.

Classes were back, which means introductions continued apace up at the School, where Introduction to Fossils had introductions and resumably fossils, Exploring American History explored some hill, though Eleanor, Arden, and Lydia explored coffee and donuts instead. In Morality of Actions the lecture involved a lot of whining about not wanting to be on the island or teaching, because that's never happened to anyone here before, and also I need some volunteers, introductions were made, and then I assume the teacher went off for a snack and a nap.

Arden had to deal with book origami in the Library, but also had visits from Kamala who needs to eat more vegetables, and Gray who had a glittery scrapbook of his brothers.

Nothing much happening at the Dorms, and in Town, Senshi is now working at Luke's and had his first shift there, Prompto put hats on all the dogs at Furnado and most of everything else there too. Adrian built a tiny little house in the woods, which got Nell's attention, while at Caritas, Tino had a tiny little list.

Oh. It's that time of year again.

Stark came by for jello based flirting and making plans to be off the island, Summer texted, Adrian confirmed with Summer that he knew about phones, and told Stark about burying body parts, his own apparently, but was weirded out finding out about the ponies. Raiden talked with Summer about classes between devouring all the Jello donuts, and after a conversation about punching cards that may have been literal or figurative invited Adrian over for breakfast. Finally, Rey came in to let Summer and Stark know she was having a better week than last.

Okay, it's the middle of break week, so it should have been a quiet enou-

*muffled thump*

...I hate you all.

*chittering*

Especially you, Leroy.

Okay, let's get through this. Nothing at the School, nothing at the Dorms, but you were all busy little bees in Town, weren't you?

We started off at Stark Tower Fun-Size, where Steve and Tony had breakfast in bed, and I assume a few other things too. At the Ink Spot Flint was reading a book about duck noises when Logan came in. After establishing that they both could read, Logan got a job there.

Rey was in her apartment, holding a Skywalker-Solo trauma party. As you do. Jaina and Luke both brought whiskey, Ben brought snacks, Tahiri brought hugs, and Anakin brought himself, and I assume terrible eyesore clothing that traumatised everyone further.

Kamala threw Arden at surprise party on the Beach, among the people showing up were Eleanor, Graham, Stewart, Boc, Prompto, Gladio, Steven, Watts, Lydia, Gray, Charlie, Cal, Belle, and Henry. Then Arden arrived and was surprised, or so I imagine. Elsewhere on the beach Dean and Jane cuddled and he gave her a book she should read aloud, which I'm sure will not come back to bite any of us in the rear.

The Devil's Nest had a quiet jazz music night, while at Caritas, Summer continued to make the mistake of letting Tino do anything except pour drinks. Which was made worse by it apparently being newbie night was Yelena, Logan, and Adrian all showed up, got to know each other, and found out about some of the things that aren't even that weird by this point. Jon was frazzled, Summer texted some rando, and Stark got a lot of interest for his kisses, and I will not be reading that out, Leroy.

That's everything?

*chittering*

Slow news day.

Up at the School, it was all about Shenanigans, which involved small children and stupid hats. So, an excruciating experience for all involved. After the mingling, the volunteers got their hats and began child wrangling. Once they'd acquired a child, shout out to Flint for 'making his one cry', they had to provide toys, clean up after, not bake cookies, play 'keepy uppy', and eat nuggets. Sounds truly hellish.

No notes for the Dorms, not surprise there, while in Town, the only noteworthy thing that happened was Summer making the the terrible mistake of asking Tino questions at Caritas, luckily, Stark came by to tell her about his terrible shenanigans filled day and suggest they spend some time off this island. Not a bad plan.

Let's make this quick, I've got an entire playlist to get through.

*chittering*

Of course, we're prepared. This is just... revision.

Up at the School, Arden was cleaning up after a 'book rager' in the Library, while in a href="https://fandomhigh.dreamwidth.org/8588009.html">Shenanigans, there was pinball, lots of really terrible pinball that the volunteers were put through. mingling was a very popular option, with Graham, Lydia, and Eleanor getting the most attention.

The Dorms continued to be quiet, while in Town, Amaya was decluttering the Forge when Graham came by to pay some debts. The the Devil's Nest, Octavia ignored Tiny in favour of Remy, possibly because one was a paying customer and the other wasn't, while at Caritas, Summer tried to ignore Tino, because the time for no is always. Rey attempted to save Summer from, as did Liliana, Stark tempted fate by drawing attention to not having done shenanigans, some dude with only one arm wanted a beer, and when all else failed, Summer fake-texted.

So yesterday the island was in Chicago, and apparently today we're in... 'one of the square bits', which is why you don't palm geography off onto the intern, Leroy.

Up at the School, Arden was spending her Library shift deciding whether to go to a party. No notes on her actual decision.

Shenanigans volunteers got to play games inspired by Chicago, which included kayaking across the duckpond, a hot dog eating contest, and calling 'dibs' on parking. Aren't we all glad we've left Chicago now.

The Dorms continued their streak of being quiet, while in Town, Nell and Liliana had a day at the Onsen, where they talked about things like Liliana's classes and girls' nights. Things were quiet at the Devil's Nest.

Things were not as quiet at Caritas, where Summer's attempts at keeping Tino from adding malort to everything were hampered by her adding to the jello shots. He only takes it as encouragment, Summer. Annie came by for shots and conversation about her terrible world, Stark wasn't here last time the island got the wanders, lucky him, and Harley interrupted Summer's texting to demand all the jello. All of it.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)

No, we're not doing that. I shouldn't even have to explain why it's a bad idea even before you take all the rum fumes into account.

*chittering*

I get enough of the Olympic spirit in class.

*more chittering*

No, it's not rum. Just...notes. Now.

Up at the School, Arden was in the Library doing homework when Kamala came by and Arden started complaining. Possibly about being assigned homework in summer session.

Meanwhile, Shenanigans went Olympic with a super ultra modern pentathlon to inflict upon audience and extremely fashionable volunteers alike. Amongst the envents inflicted were beach volleyball, pommel horse, skeet shooting, breaking, and breaking two: artistic swimming boogaloo.

The Dorms were once again quiet, while in Town, Prompto interviews his child at Furnado and discovered the stunning conversational skills of tiny children. Boc was at Pixie Dust, sensibly avoiding the park, and asking Arden, why crocs?, when she dropped in.

Over at Caritas, the zombie band had new and unusual instruments, and Rey was into it, Dean told Summer about his travel plans before asking Rey about hers, and Summer texted before getting her flirt on with Stark, and that right there Leroy is why there are no open flames allowed in the radio booth.

Why is the porg wearing a tiny shirt?

*cheerful porg noises*

Honorary team member...I'm not going to pursue that any further.

Let's see, up at the School, Arden was in the Library, threatening to go to a higher authority about 'the voices'.

As for Shenanigans, Anakin was back, surprising the audience and volunteers with a relatively subdued water balloon and other objects including our intern fight. On rafts. In the middle of the duck pond. Never change, Anakin, people might start to worry.

Going by the porgs other activities, I'm going to guess there was no Dorms news, while in Town, Prompto was putting his child in cat beds at Furnado, when Liliana came by with cupcakes, and an invitation to some off-island music event.

Kamala held another movie night at the Murder Home, with quite a lot of mingling from Arden, Eleanor, Steven, Henry, Remy, Cal, and Illyana before the movie, with Arden and Cal taking a break to go sit on the roof and talk about not knowing things about this world. Which, highly overrated.

Octavia was trying to save energy at the Devil's Nest, while at Caritas there was a drunk cat trying to get phone numbers, something Harley thought was cute, and Stark barely even registered.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
Leroy, why are you here? We've discussed the personal space thing.

*unconvincing chittering*

...

Leroy, are there squirrels in my bathtub?

*even less concivincing chittering*

That'd better be true by the end of the broadcast.

Let's see what happened yesterday. Up at the School, Arden was dealing with some 'real fun guys' at the Library, when Lydia came in bearing 'Vegas donuts'.

During Shenanigans, Thor was apparently attempting to make the volunteers miss Anakin, by making them compete in the relay race of the damned, which involved random wildlife sledding, foam axe throwing, fermented shark snacks, and a well-manicured boat.

Why? Who hurt you, Thor? Because I can probably help you forget that.

I'm not seing the porg here, so I'm guessing nothing happened in the Dorms, while over in Town, Kamala regretted many of her life choices, it was date night at the Murderhome, and Tino made everyone regret his life choices at Caritas, though he claims he learned it from watching Summer. Harley and Summer made plans to celebrate Harley's birthday at the space club, while Stark made out while discussing the jello shots that inspired TIno's terribleness.

*odd thumping noises*

I'd ask what you were doing, but I don't actually want to know.

Up at the School, Arden was reading in the Library, when Gray came by to ask her some questions, presumably about books. Anakin was not around for Shenanigans, so instead of his usual antics we got 'violent furry roleplay', which I'm sure was fun for the audience and volunteers alike.

Meanwhile in the Dorms-

*excited porg noises*

Yes, I saw that. Gray had an early morning phone call.

Over in Town, there were kitty houses at Furnado that were largely enjoyed by everyone but the cats. It was date night at the Murderhome, while Octavia was behind the bar at the Devil's Nest.

No one cared about Tino's weekend at Caritas, which is as it should be, being far too concerned with singing on the Stage. So much singing. Some of it was probably even in tune. Things were also hopping at the bar with everyone getting their mingling and drinking on, though Kamala was only interested in drinks of the non-alcoholic kind, Jesse was in her usual chair with her usual generic beer, Margo wanted to rob a bank because Tino threw a better party than her, which is just sad, Eleanor was nervous, though whether that was over the singing or the awkward teen hand holding is anyone's guess. Harley approved of the shots, the cocktails, and Summer's taste in interior decorating, so I'm sure that'll end well, Leroy has written some unprintable things about Stark's flirting, Arden decided to deal with her week with strong drink, which probably explains some of the the singing, Remy got a crash course in all the ways this island will fuck with you, Lydia was incredibly out of place, but still not as awkward as Cal.

I see you're into the rum already.

*chittering*

And you have fireworks. I see. That's an outside plan. An outside and far away from me plan.

Not a lot of notes today, colour me shocked. So let's see...

Up at the School, Arden wasn't sure if she was supposed to open the Library, but there she was, and it gave Kamala a chance to apologise for saying her crush was more fun. Not commenting on that.

Also not commenting on Dorms, because even less happened than usual. Town was also quiet, with Prompto unable to multitask as Furnado due to being easily distracted, while Ignis was preparing a gift for Liliana in the creepy mansion. The squirrels seem to think it involved lying and what are hopefully some exceptionally florid euphemisms, so either the squirrels need to get out more, or a whole lot less.

Speaking of needing to get out more, Tino had decorated Caritas, I imagine it went as well as Leroy's plans for those fireworks will. Summer took to the stage for her adoring audience, but which I mean Stark, which led to planning some squirrel free activities. I cannot blame them.

*clattering marble sounds*

Leroy, I'm going to close my eyes and count to ten, silently, that better be gone by the time I open my eyes.

*...*

Better.

Let's see, in School news, the books were all over the place at the Library, which I thought was what the library was for, but apparently that''s wrong. While in Shenanigans, after the usually mingling and volunteering, which some people were more enthusiasic about than others, Kamala, we played hockey.

*chittering*

We. Played. Hockey. Four side hockey. It's a thing. Anything else you might have heard are scandalous lies.

Another quiet dsay in the Dorms, while in Town, Promtpo was cleaming the fishtanks at Furnado, which I understand was a bohemoth of a job, while Irene had a busy day at Dite's arranging all her beauty treatments. It was also a quiet night at Caritas, poossibly because Tino kept assuming people cared about his life. Summer took to the stage before ending the night getting all flirty with Stark at the bar.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
It's to early to be this warm, have you bee playing with the heating.

*chittering*

Lies.

In School news, the Library was full of weird animals. Which given this island, tells me absolutely nothing.

Meanwhile, Anakin made choices for Shenanigans, even stranger choices than usual. There was slime. Though not for the people mingling. Unless that just gave him more ideas. It was just the volunteers who had to suffer there way through an incredibly elaborate, slime and condiment filled obstacle course. Was this a cry for help?

Still nothing going in the Dorms, while in Town, things weren't much busier, with a sign at Dite's telling people not to put stickers up while Irene and Amaya discussed busy ninjas, and Watts was intrigued by the forbidden stickers.

At the Devil's Nest, Octavia and Lucifer were confused by Tiny's lost cards, which might explain why Tino was doing card tricks at Caritas. Harley was impressed by Tino's antics, which explains so many things, and in between Summer playing with her phone, Stark explained how Anakin was defintely out to get him with his antics. Which I'd normally call paranoid, but, Anakin.

*chittering*

I should do a bit?

*more chittering*

Because everyone has a bit. I already have a bit, Leroy, it's called threatening you until I get my notes.

*outraged chittering*

Oh, no, I like my bit.

*paper shuffling*

Let's see, up at the School, Arden killed time on her Library shift until her shenanigans based detention, she did however get Kamala bringing her a squishie, and Don looking up cocktail books. If you were trying to figure out where Summer gets them from, it's not there, Don.

Then came a very bug forward Shenanigans, as Anakin celebrated something as annoying as he is. The audience settled in, but was mostly focused on Graham, while volunteers got into their 'surprisingly not terrible' shirts. Then they took part in a quote-unquote race, which did involve some actual racing. Tied up. Barefoot. Then came the climbing a tree. In costume. Screaming. My notes don't specify if that part was by choice or not. The bug pizza was practically normal by comparison. Finally, there was a drinking game involving 'cidcada-infused Malört'. Personally, I blame Tino, and you should too.

I assume by the sad porg there's still not Dorms news, so onto Town, where Kamala spent the morning running through the streets. I assume because she hates herself. She took a break to talk travel with Watts, got lapped by Steve, several times, and showed off her powers for Remy.

Furnado was a buzz with costumed hamsters, which apparently Watts found pretty fishy. Elsewhere Steph plastered the streets with signs for Pride later in the month.

It was date night in the murderhome, while over at Outback Steakhouse Arden and Cal wondered why Anakin does those Anakin things. Because he can.

It was a quiet night at Caritas, so Summer and Tino dicussed the heroism of the Waffle House, at least while Summer wasn't texting. Rey was somewhat suspicous of how quiet it was, as was Stark who was in the weeds of birthday planning. Lastly, Graham came by and asked about finding stock of...no. No, Graham. Graham, no. Bad.
wrongkindofsith: (Like some kind of note-taking ninja)
[personal profile] wrongkindofsith
*chittering*

No.

*more chittering*

Notes. Now. Leory.

*paper shuffling*

Let's see, up at the School, Arden was in the Library contemplating tattoos, Don came by to borrow some books, which hardly ever happens, and Adren ruined the moment by 'well, actually-ing' his choices.

Shenanigan were engaged in some kind of sportsball, with people who like living dangerously mingling, before the teams had to put on their mascot costumes. Okay, I can see why people might risk it to see that. Then it was time for the game, with the stalwart and heroic Tree Squirrels losing to a bunch of cheating Cabbages according to some not biased at all coverage from our sports section.

The porg continues to be woeful about the lack of Dorms news, while in Town, Prompto considered double purposing dog costumes at Furnado, only to have a visit from Liliana that the squirrels quickly lost interest in, Dite's saw some unusual spring problems, and Jon brought Irene some tea. At the Perk Sabine had a very friendly barista, and a talk with Margo.

Liliana and Ignis were prepping classes when we were all saved from some mushy talk by Liliana turning into a kitty. As you do. It was date night at the Murder Home, while at the Devil's Nest it was all jazz and traffic cones. The Ghoul came in for a drink and to make it clear that he was totally different from a zombie, zombie Yoko will be devastated, which might explain why Lucy, who wasn't so picky about her drinks, was very picky about how she addressed him.

Summer was back to being a redhead at Caritas, which was creepily written ten times as large as everything else on the page. Rey was feeling great, possibly because she had a great many shots, Dean was still a woman, much to Rey's delight and not so much his, Stark was a fan of Summer's hair regardless of colour, Leroy, while Rey let him know she was just happy in general. Because again, great many shots.
