Fandom Radio, Thursday, May 31

Good morning, everyone. It's Thursday, and that means I'm Chloe Sullivan with all of your news...not that I'm not Chloe other days too, of course.

*chittering*

Yeah, I'm just going to stop while I'm ahead here. When the squirrels start laughing at you, it's a bad sign of things to come.

Let's start with the school, as tradition dictates. The Surf's Up class had a movie day with snacks and drinks, because Summer's nice like that, and in Art of Disguise, the students learned how to take notice of their physical mannerisms and movement styles and worked on changing them as an easy disguise.

In Kicking Ass, Kennedy had the students try to raft across a rocky river, without being allowed to leave any stragglers or drowning victims behind. The first group tried to decide if they could use their powers, before moving on to tying the rafts together, the second group pretty much came to terms with the fact that they'd be falling into the water at least once, and in the third group, Angelica offered to fly across while Surreal was adamant that she doesn't swim. And in Heroics class, Electroclash had the students make their own superhero trading cards, complete with terrible pictures of themselves, because otherwise the assignment would be too easy, or something.

It looks like the only note I have for the dorms is that Ben woke up early, and when Ender woke up too, they got to talking about how neither of them have been sleeping well lately. Awww, guys. Can I suggest doing something together to wear yourselves out, or would that be weird? Oh well, too late!

In town, at Coyote Medicine, Alice was doing some reading, while Shira gave the Magic Box a major scrub down. At the Perk, Bruce was drinking tea and playing on his laptop, which sounds like the start to an awesome afternoon. But Sherlock insisted on reading over his shoulder, and Clint caught Bruce by surprise in one of those "You know me but I don't know you" things. Awkward!

I did not at all find myself addicted to a website of cute animal pictures while at the clinic today, and anyone who says otherwise is going to get laughed at the next time they get eaten by a goat. And at Caritas, Kitty was a little confused about why the zombies were wearing straw hats. Yeah, that's a mental image I'm not sure I needed. Bobby came in and got a Long Island iced tea, after promising Kitty he could handle it, and since there aren't any notes about him wearing a straw hat, I'm assuming he was fine.

In fact, I don't have any notes left, so I'm going to assume you're all good, and I can sign off until next week. See you later, folks!
