Fandom Radio, Thursday, April 19
Good morning folks, this is Chloe Sullivan with your Thursday morning news. I'd like to take a moment to say a special hello to all of the guests who are still here, clearly enjoying all the wonderful things Fandom has to offer. My...assistants seem to have worked especially hard on my notes for today, so let's see what's been going on, shall we?
Up at the school, final exam week continued without any issues, of course. The Symbolism in Literature class had their usual written exam while Mrs. White talked to Ms. Perrault about her many years of teaching at Fandom High. The History students had what I'm sure was a grueling exam, under the supervision of Ms. Atreides and Ms. Evans. The students in Classic Mythology had their written exam supervised by Mr....Hercules and Ms. Miller, who discussed other classes the students have enjoyed in the past. Oh, yeah, some of my fondest memories of attending Fandom were the difficult yet educational classes I took. The only class that didn't have a written exam was...Driver's Ed? Oh god... Yeah, uh, their exam was more hands-on, of course, involving driving and a limo because that's the kind of class and style we have here, and Mrs. White was kind enough to help Mr. Murdock calm his nerves during the exam. He just cares so much about the students and their well-being, you know? And over in the teacher's offices, Mr. Maximus was working on paperwork. Clearly, a teacher's job here is never done, even if their exam is over.
At the dorms, the Pride group had their last meeting of the semester, to share cupcakes and decide whether or not to keep meeting over the summer. Natalie worked on some music in her room, while wearing her totally stylish uniform, and then went to visit Sam to talk about her...experience with our totally annual rabbit infestation, and his experience meeting Mr. Graves. Ben met some of the bunnies as well on his morning run, and Ender took care of him when he got back. Because they're good roommates. And Ben was sad about not getting to keep a bunny. Yes.
In the fifth floor common room, Wesley was playing chess against himself and watching a Lifetime movie. Squall accused Wesley of being boring, but really, that sounds like a nice, peaceful way to spend an evening. Really. In the second floor common room, Lucrezia and Petra had a sewing party to, uh, fix their uniforms. Maybe polyester isn't as high-quality today as it used to be? Anyway, Kenzi and Petra watched one of the bunnies chase a deer, oh god, poor little deer, and Lucrezia and Petra talked about the difference in "appropriate skirt length" in their different...cultures. Kenzi thought about making her skirt shorter, which I'm certain is against some rules, so she should feel bad about that, and Lucrezia said she'd support her if Kenzi gave her her extra material. Hank tried to explain that altering the uniforms is against the rules, and Seifer assured Kenzi that if anyone asked, she could say the bunnies got to her uniform. And made a nest out of it, or something? Hank told Lucrezia that he's excited about all the guests on the island, as we all are, Stacey and Lucrezia discussed ways to make Stacey's uniform fit better, and Seifer really did have some holes in his uniform--I mean, more than the others--after encountering the bunnies in town. They must think the uniforms taste good! How silly!
Over in the town, as mentioned, our annual bunny infestation was going on, to remind us all that it's spring, and that we should be very careful outside of our residences. Quinn caught some bunnies, uh, doing what bunnies do best at the Arms Hotel, Lion-o was unhappy to be at Luke's Diner, and Eric was enjoying some John Denver music at Salutations. Jaye was having some trouble shrinking--I mean washing--her teacher's uniform, and Zayne made a quick call home in the evening, to order something. Bruce went out for a peaceful run in the evening, and encountered some bunnies near the park. Thankfully, Cara was there when Bruce got back to the dorms, so she kept him distracted by trading stories with him on how...adorable the little bunnies are. And finally, earlier today in the park, Britta was...well, protesting. I have no idea what she was protesting about, since everything is so nice and wonderful on the island, but Annie broke the protest up by needing to dodge a bunny that was following her, which also freaked out Britta while Loki video taped everything that was happening. Who knew so many people were potentially allergic to angora? Yeah, that's the story I'm sticking with.
Those seem to be all the notes the...assistants gave me, so I'd better sign off before I say something really stupid. Have a wonderful day, everyone!
