Good evening, Fellow Fandomites! It's the day you've all been waiting for: Wexler Wednesday, only on WTFH Radio! I have for you yet another amazing broadcast of the days event, which you will find to be informative, helpful and, most of all, very, very serious.

First, as usual, we'll start off with the usual report on the stocks which are still going up, a refreshing breath of fresh air after the recent plunge. Will it stay ascending, though? And with Murdock...that's Rupert Murdock, not Fandom's own Jeff Murdock, by the way (although, God help me, if that's some subconscious reason my I like him...)...buying out the WSJ and the Dow Jones, this could mean anything, folks. This is an exciting time for the stock market! I'm sure you're all just as excited as I am! But I ask that you, please, put your excitement aside for a moment and consider these very important and very serious notes on your Fandom Day, August First, Two-Thousand Seven.

The Wonderful World of Wexler Wednesday )

Well, fellow Fandomites, I regret to inform you that this is the end of our broadcast for the day. I know, I know. I'm heartbroken, too, but I'll be back next Wednesday with more very serious, very important news. G'nite, and have a prosperous day!

...I had a date! Ha!

Hello, Fellow Fandomites, who are all probably in bed right now, but, heavens, wouldn't you believe it, I just about nearly forgot about the broadcast tonight. That's senility for you, though, wouldn't you know it? I'd forget my own head if it weren't attached to my neck and if it weren't for my deadbeat writer husband telling me how big it's gotten all the time. In the market...eh, well, does it really matter? I own half of it and assuming my niece doesn't entirely drive the company into the dirty, you know it's doing well, or my name isn't T.R. Wexler.

Which it is.

Also, do you know what really gets my goat? Kids. On my lawn. When will they learn...?

GET OFF MY LAWN! )

How do you turn this crazy thing off again? They make things so complicated these days. If I had a dime for evertime I co--

Jim: [in a high pitched, squeaky voice, as if he had just inhaled some helium] Hello, Fandom! Your regular hosts were unable to make it tonight, so you have us for subs. I'm Wink Johnson.

Pam: [in a similar, marginally higher-pitched voice] And I'm Arcadia Wasp. It seems that your regular host and hostess were unavoidably detained, but we were more than happy to fill in.

Jim: After all, when the pirate asks you to fill in, you say "Yarr!" and you like it! Or else you walk the plank!

Pam: You could also say "Ahoy!" ...I just like saying "Ahoy!"

Jim: "Ahoy!" You're right. And that sounds even more fun coming from our amusingly high pitched voices.

Pam: Doesn't it? Though I don't know about you, but I always sound like this.

Jim: So do I, Arcadia. So do I. Look, the squirrels are shaking their tiny little fists at us! We should probably get on with the news.

In which two people who are totally not Jim and Pam talk funny for several minutes )

Pam: Aaaaand that is it. It really is fun to stretch out vowels, sounding like this.

Jim: Yeeeeeees. Although we already knew that because these are our normal voices. Your regular hosts should be back next week with their much less entertaining voices.

Pam: Unless they were eaten by wolves or something. We won't know until next week.

Jim: So stay tuned!
