Fandom Radio :: Wednesday, August 1. Part Deux :: THE AU!

Hello, Fellow Fandomites, who are all probably in bed right now, but, heavens, wouldn't you believe it, I just about nearly forgot about the broadcast tonight. That's senility for you, though, wouldn't you know it? I'd forget my own head if it weren't attached to my neck and if it weren't for my deadbeat writer husband telling me how big it's gotten all the time. In the market...eh, well, does it really matter? I own half of it and assuming my niece doesn't entirely drive the company into the dirty, you know it's doing well, or my name isn't T.R. Wexler.

Which it is.

Also, do you know what really gets my goat? Kids. On my lawn. When will they learn...?

You probably all know about the nice young man who was visiting us today. That crazy Jude Lizowski nearly ran him over, zooming this way and that-a way like a damn loon...Rikku, dear, I really hope you didn't let him drink coffee again, because you know that that kills his digestion and we don't want to go through that again. Anywhoo, Rikku's pretty sure she knows this young guy, but I think it's just senility, really, I mean, it's Rikku here.

That John Connor thinks he's a robot form the future. John, sweetie, everyone's a robot from the future. We get it, we get it! Oi vey. Chloe can't be missin' her stories, and I know how that is, and that young whippersnapper is gettin' in her way and wondering if she remembers him, and sweetie, we don't remember much these days. And Sokka goes and challenges him to a fight. That Sokka. Some things...they just don't ever change. You know you shouldn't be fighting anyone with that bad hip of yours, Sokka. In fact, you shouldn't be fighting anyone, 'cause you're an awful fighter. Ha!

*cough. coughcoughcough*

Ugh. Shouldn't laugh so hard. Emma welcomed our guest like any sane person would by hitting him with an umbrella. Oi. Emma. What did the umbrella ever do to you?

Also, I really think we should complain more about the food here. Really. How do they expect us to digest this? I demand more prunes and warm milk. Anyway, the kid bothered me and who ever's grandson this is, please get him on a leash? You know you can pick one up at Turtle & Ca--

You squirrels are the most terrible things ever. Throwing things at defenseless old ladies. Well I never! Sokka's demanding pudding like a damn fool; I swear, he wants them to take the pudding away from us on Wednesdays as well as that whole Tuesday fiasco. Jim goes for the jello. It was green today. Ain't natural, that green jello, I tell ya, and Liz somehow managed to enjoy this atrocity they call food. Remind me to call my niece tomorrow and demand to know why she wants me here instead of in my condo in the Alps...Because my condo won't have Jude and Rikku acting like they're all of 65 and having a food fight. I can't retire in these conditions, really. True, I've been retired for over thirty five years, but, please, just let me die in peace!

And who let River have pens again? The administration in this place is appalling. I can't believe my grant money is being so poorly used. At least some good use is going to those art supplies; Naminé, sweetie, you just keep right on with those pictures, 'cause they sure are nice. We could use more knitting, though, hun.

I realize now that Chad probably let that damn kid in. And then he talked with Jude and I have half a mind, let me tell you, to go and cut off all the supply of Viagra into this place because of that little punk. I don't need to be reporting on things like that at my old age. My heart can't take these things.

Tori's gonna kill herself one of these days, working in that gym; sweetie, ya ain't as young as you used to be. And that Billy is just gonna glare himself right out of that remaining eye. Anybody hear on if he's lost more body parts? I can't keep up with it, but I bet he's just counting down the days till one of us croaks and he can get some use out of a limb or two. Liz is probably pushing her luck in that gym, there, too, and Alanna goes waving that sword of hers like it was a walker, and with Billy in the room and everything! I never! But that kid did have a little chat with that nice little kitty of Alanna's. You know, the one everyone says talks but I swear it's just all in your heads.

That Leo continues to be a drain on Social Security, John and Rodney are just so cute that they're gettin' me all feclempt. I'm just surprised that blasted TV is working, 'cause you know, it was on the fritz all last week and I couldn't watch my stories and I just about died. Like Sokka nearly did today. You're not a teenager anymore! Razzum'-frazzum'...

How do you turn this crazy thing off again? They make things so complicated these days. If I had a dime for evertime I co--
