Thursday, September 24th, 2020 01:25 pmHello everyone, this is Clint Barton and congrats, you've made it through more than half of the week. Sometimes the reminder helps, you know?
All right, let's dive into notes. Over at the school, it was assembly day. Nina checked on Wei Wuxian since he didn't look like he was in a great mood, and then Alluka got into her presentation, which was about decorating the island to get ready for Parents' Weekend. Aww, that was a sweet idea. Astrid and Elle tried to come up with decoration ideas that wouldn't be permanent, but would last until the weekend, and then people headed off to town. Astrid and Elle went to the park to decorate and tried to agree on a color scheme. They must have picked a good one because Miles liked it and went to work on his own painting. Astrid liked what he was doing, and he and Sabine talked about how strange it was to do approved street art. Sabine also threw some ideas at Astrid since everything was going to be temporary.
Freya put a welcoming bow on the lighthouse. Rey did some yoga by herself since Duke is out of town, and Amaya showed a movie about fixing up a house for the Modern Earth Entertainment crowd. She and Lucille checked in and talked about Amaya's business and her policy on making presents. At Turtle and Canary, Shunsui was excited to see the students decorating, and Nina got to work on making The Bookbelt look good. Danny was at work at the Trooper Station which made Steve upset because he was supposed to be resting. Aww, all the Steves are the same, apparently. Iris took the decorating opportunity to spray paint flowers on the police station; Danny just wanted them to look tasteful, while Steve specifically requested hibiscus flowers. Diego was confused as to why there was vandalism going on, and Danny explained it was probably the assembly. 'When in doubt, blame the school' seems like an appropriate thought. Kathy made sure Dite's was looking nice, with some help from Barry, and Rey got a visit from Duke and heard about his recent trip, which was apparently multiple levels of disastrous. Ouch. Caritas was still an alcohol-free zone, which explains some of Kitty's crankiness this morning. Jesse and Summer tried to figure out if things would turn back into alcohol if they took them out of the building, and Barry tried to convince Jesse to use more modern technology. Barry also checked in with Summer on how her last trip went, and Summer filled Seivarden in about what she's missed in the last few weeks.
That's all for me for today. If you have people coming this weekend, try not to stress about it - if we just hope everything will be fine, maybe it'll happen.
