Hello Fandom! This is Willow Rosenberg, reporting to you from Fandom radio because there's news that needs reporting and no other radio station has asked me to do it. Though imagine how confused the listening audience of, say, KROQ would be to hear about gremlins and shadows and people hanging out in common rooms that aren't five. Just as well we stick with this one. Though it occurs to me I don't actually know our call letters. My gut instinct? WARR. Though that looks like war misspelled. Oh!! WRUM! There we go. Much better.

On to the news! )

New System for Threads That Get Missed
With more than 200 characters bopping around and players stretching across four continents, it is almost impossible for our amazing recappers to catch and summarize every single conversation taking place every day.

And that's where the rest of you come in. Every week, I'll pop up a linkdrop in the radio community, cunningly named "The Squirrels' Bulletin Board," divided by days. If there is a thread that we missed that you were in and want to stick up there, go for it.

IG, the board would be outside the radio station, so other characters can read it, thus making it IG canon.

Aren't we smart?

Comments on Radio
The radio staff--recappers and researchers--work incredibly hard to cover hundreds of conversations over dozens of posts, and they do it every day. The recappers are those you voted in--and you picked acerbic, witty, brilliant voices to give you the news.

But we can all have off days.

I have set up a screened comment drop in Barbossa's journal if you have a comment, compliment or complaint about the radio. It's available for IC or OOC comments.

That being said, if you have a complaint about the radio staff, or the way a recap was presented, bring it to me. Or to the entire admin team and me. Or to the recapper themselves.

And also to me.

If I don't hear anything directly, I will not see the problem and I will not do anything to correct it. As has been pointed out rather repeatedly this weekend, we are all adults here and I will not deal with something that is coming to me as so-and-so said such-and-such to whoever.

We play high schoolers.

We are not actually high schoolers.

Thanks.

-Barbossa-mun.

At various wee hours, squirrels skitter up to the bulletin board outside the radio station and ping up bits of information that had been missed during the broadcast.

Hello, Fandom. This is Nadia Santos, once again bringing you the news on this meatbally Sunday night.

*sound of chittering*

What do you care if I have a headache? You knocked me out with an acorn, before.

*more chittering*

No, I'm not going to turn on the lights. This little light right here is plenty bright enough for me to read the notes.

*chittering*

Yes, there is.

*chittering*

Yes, there is.

*chittering*

YES, there--I'm arguing with a squirrel. I have no idea what it's saying and I'm arguing . . . Anyway. On to the news.

Don't mess around with the gal in shades of noir )

Well, that looks like all the notes we have for tonight, people. This is Nadia Santos saying don't eat the meatballs, you don't know where they've been. And goodniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz--*click*
