Both: 🎵 ~Troy and Astrid in the mooorn~ing~~ 🎵
Troy: ...and were back! I'd like to take a moment to thank our last guests, a bunch of squirrels dressed like mummies, who took the time out of their note-writing schedules to show us how to really do the Monster Mash.
Astrid: I hear it'll be a graveyard smash.
Troy: And how! But now, let's get to the moment you've all been waiting for. That's right, folks, it's time for ~the News~. Take it away, Astrid.
Astrid: Thanks, Troy. We start ~the News~ today, as always, with ~the School~. Hyrule Class learned all about the Rito people and their music, Bardic Inspiration discussed what to do in the likely event that you can't make enough money as a musician, and World Mythology paired up to discuss a Celtic story that blended myth and history. Gladio also had office hours, where he mostly ate noodles and read a book.
Troy: We actually have a note for ~the Dorms~ this week, but it's literally just Alara sitting in her room trying to figure something out, but I guess it's better than nothing, so we'll move right onto ~the Town~, where the landlord was in over at MHA. All Jon did, though, was mostly just text Eliot? Something about a haircut? And there's a note here from the squirrels already defending themselves that they didn't get that close, thank you, there were just pictures involved so they took a guess.
Suuuuuuuuuuuuuure.
Astrid: Speaking of Eliot, he stopped in to chat with Margo about costumes and candy at Pick Your Poison. Stark was more than happy to indulge in some seasonal treats at J,GoB, where he and Jo had nothing but good things to say about the quality of the products. And speaking of quality of products, Duke very firmly veto'd the use of frozen fishsticks in his diner, where Dwight came in for a little catch-up and the daily special. Steph was taking plenty of pictures of her progress in getting Magpie Emporium all set up for business, and Billy was glad to see there was a game shop, even if he hadn't really played much in a while. Liz was Instragramming everything over at the Photo Hut, and Troy was thoughtful instead of doing work over at Groovy Tunes.
Troy: Excuse you, I was thinking about doing work! Cooking Class for Grown-Ass People dealt with goopy pies and a caramel mess, while Annie and Rey had a sangria sesh sans Summer, where they talked about relationships and revolutions, like you do. Also, is that...maybe....certain bells I hear?
Astrid: That might just be a concussion.
Troy: That is true. I did play football.
Astrid: And, finally, over at the Leather Nest, Miguel was disappointed about the lack of leather, although Eric was still wearing his leather pants, and Liz also came in, mostly to talk about her newest social media obsessions.
Troy: And, with that note, we conclude today's exciting and informative broadcast of ~the News~. This has been the Disco Spider....
Astrid: ...and the Normal Human...
Troy: And we'll see you all at the homecoming carnival! PEACE OUT!
