I was hoping I’d be free of squirrels this morning after being dragged in on Saturday with Anakin. Should have known better. I’m back again. As usual for a Wednesday. Back to read the news from yesterday for today.
There were classes at the school as there usually are. Amaya had the Shop class making trebuchets for “pumpkin chuckin’.” Right. Nick took the Fixin’ Stuff class shopping at a Home Depot which Leroy says does not sell homes. Anakin’s Ethics class talked about Halloween and if there were similar holidays elsewhere. Jon’s Fear in Literature class discussed a story about...eating poor people? I...fine, fine.
Nothing of interest happened in the dorms or perhaps the students have bribed the squirrels?
*chittering*
No, Leroy says the dorms were just quiet.
The town did have some things the squirrels found interesting. The squirrels find so many things interesting. Tisarwat was looking up monsters and listening to spooky music at Groovy Tunes while Astrid was dealing with mules at Turtle & Canary. I suppose mules in a shop are interesting, yes. Sakaki was at the animal shelter not putting puppies in costumes. That’s unfortunate. Puppies in costumes are almost certainly adorable. Maybe another day? When her arm is better. Liz brought her cat to the Photo Hut with her while she did something on her phone and Faye...stop looking at me like that Leroy you don’t need to fall back into bad habits...Faye was at Wellspring Arms decorating with bells. Wanda was eating candy and checking her own decorations at The Magic Box when Kitty and Lexi came in to admire them. Nobody came to admire the very clean windows at the fire station but the squirrels have underlined “very clean” several times. Perhaps the squirrels admired the cleaning then. There were also far too many decorations at Caritas for Kitty to deal with. I went to the bar for a drink and to question the decorations. Rosa offered to smash some of them for Kitty, Billy asked Kitty what he might need to be warned about since he seems to be staying and then I introduced myself. At the Devil’s Nest Lucifer was considering redecorating, again, but not with Halloween things. Dwight came in for a beer and Eric talked about sparkly underwear and Mormons with Lucifer and I have no idea why. And finally, in the other apartment building, Danny stopped being a cat. That’s good. Always better for people to be shaped like themselves.
That seems to be everything and I am hopefully done reading the squirrel provided news until next week. Hopefully.
