ohvalleyofpenisGreetings, greetings! It is I, Jaskier. I have returned once more to bring you the news of the day. Meaning yesterday.
It begins where it always begins, at the school. Where our intrepid students learn how to improvise in a haunted? Is it haunted? Some sort of mansion. Anyway, that is what they did in Creative Weaponry. Fuck Yeah Science learned all about coral and the ocean without a single one of them turning into a creature! I am impressed! Superheroing 101 discussed where they went wrong last week and where improvements may be made. Constructive criticism, I like it.
In the dorms, there was the usual breakfast with Wayne. Nina stopped in to be very cross that she had been replaced as a dishwasher and to argue that an entertaining lie is better than the truth sometimes. I must concur with her on that one, Wayne. Elli was there as well to discuss the guests who may be coming this weekend. Guests are coming? That's news to me. Troy was there for the food as usual, though he met and was confused by Nina shortly thereafter. With a lecture on dental hygiene tossed in for good measure. He and Elli discussed home and their families compared to living here. Both Troy and Miles were deeply concerned about their classes as they have featured going into space and people set aflame. Which does sound concerning when put in that context, yes.
Miles also assisted with the dish washing before getting some food for himself and discussing how strange the businesses on this island are with Wayne. Perhaps he hasn't enjoyed the excess food the restaurants provide? Nina was very upset that her job was taken from her by Miles and they discussed how Wayne was always grumpy and how Miles had never been in a fight before. Elli and he then went on to catch up on his art and their weekends. Adora arrived to get herself a breakfast, thanking Wayne for providing it once more. She had Miles offer to help her out should she need it, as he is her roommate and all. Nina proved to be too energetic for Adora's tastes, but Elli was just right. The last guest to this breakfast party was Arabella who was in dire need of coffee before feeling fit enough to discuss classes with both Wayne and Miles.
Over in town town, we had Beau deal with the hijinks--the squirrel's word, not mine--of some gremlins attempting to turn off the power at the gym. At the park, we had Stark--Hello, Stark!--enjoying the lovely weather with cookies. The cookies he shared with Kitty's young daughter whilst discussing it with Kitty herself. Duke received a phone call while he returned to his boat laden with pastries and coffee. He then had a text conversation with Rey that improved his mood. After that, he attempted to cheer up Octavia before they settled on a trip back home for a birthday party.
Danny walked through town--though the squirrels insist is was more of a shamble--where he was met with Liam who assisted him in not falling down the stairs before inviting him and Steve with the tattoos to a dinner party. How lovely! Duke also happened by to assist him and to discuss what they had both gotten up to over the weekend before they turned to more metaphysical matters. Tattooed Steve ran the troopers through drills about collapsed buildings--oh dear--before Liam also stopped in to check in on him and learn about magical beach chairs. Well, that's a new one for certain.
