Good morning, Fandom! Amaya Blackstone here, with another stack of squirrel notes covering your Thursday, so let's get right to them.
In SCHOOL, Blacksmithing Basics actually got to forge somehting this week since I actually have a forge again; we started on some knives. Sparkly Destruction made use of bottlecaps for weapons, and Practical Philosophy did more talking, that's sort of the thing with that one, mostly about destructive possible futures this time around as well as Ben stopping in to talk to Ender about headin' home since this place as it is right now can't be doing too good for his mood.
In the DORMS, Okuyasu was just sort of...processing the...grisly aftermath of a gremlin bite in the third floor common room. I know the feeling...
And then in TOWN, Steve was feeling a little more than restless about the...sure, we'll call it 'weather'...so Tony offered to take him out bug killing but only until after he ate something. See, now, that level of mush is almost tolerable...
*chittering*
...you want to come over here closer and say that? I'll show you soft! In other tolerable, but I-am-still-not-reading-the-words-'Relationship-Goals', which one of you wrote that?...Verity and Liam headed down the causeway to go scavenging on the mainland after discussing the changes in the trooper armor and potential plans to move to Michigan. Octavia joined in on the hunt, making food a priority and agreeing with Liam about adding weapons and medical supplies to that list, while Verity emphasized water and...zounds, yes, coffee, I am going to have to track one of them down to see how successful they might have been. Miguel was there, too, assuring Verity that he was fine without weapons, really, although I'll make the case that even if you don't need 'em, they'll definitely make things more entertaining, but I realize I'm a bit biased in that particular opinion.
Prompto was feeling generally grossed out at Furnado. Fjord did a fine job, as always, working hard and keeping an eye on things at the Forge so I could go spend the day attempting to restock our dwindling steel supplies at scrapyard, where Vette was doing her part to keep the bugs away from her own scavanged little bits of tech.
Keeping up with the themes of our lovely ever-changing island, movie class did a film about a dystopian future a bit nicer than this one, and it had more vehicles and lots of action, so it wasn't half-bad.
And that's all I've got for today. So be bold, Fandom, be careful, and make sure to not get so distracted by the scorpions and bugs out there that you forget about the gremlins.
