Mornin', y'all, this is Alec Hardison reportin' live an' unbeaten today which makes for a nice change. I'm mad tired today, so we're just gonna jump right into the broadcast without any of my usual witty commentary or whatever.

*Squirrel cheers*

Y'all are just ungrateful. That's what you are. Anyway, there was School, where Anakin was runnin' for the Meanest Teacher Alive Award, which I did not know was a thing until just now. But that's the only thing that explains today's classes, besides sheer sadism. First, in Pointy End AWAY From You, he an' Obi-Wan made everyone cut down trees in the Danger Shop. With battle-axes. Now, I ain't know much about axes, but I'm pretty sure they call 'em battle axes for a reason, as opposed to, say, tree-cuttin'-axes-we-also-use-for-fightin'-sometimes axes. Anyway, they decided to keep track of how many trees people could cut down with their battle axes an' Anakin decided the losers were all gonna run laps. You know. After cuttin' down a buncha trees. Then, turns out Lady Ghanima wasn't around for her class, Phys Ed, so she had Anakin cover for her. Which he did, by bein' absolutely insane, an' tellin' everybody they had to run a mile, then 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and then run another damn mile. An' if that sounded, y'know, too easy, they could all just wear body armor while they did it. No word if the students mutinied, but from the notes here, I'm guessin' this squirrel thinks this is as nuts as I do.

*More chittering*

That wasn't meant to be a pun. Anyway, Tactics an' Teamwork played 'capture the flag' in a box canyon today, which is at least normal-soundin'. Except my very next note says that one team got a tank, so never mind. The Red Team met up to plan how to outrun a damn tank, while the Blue Team met up so...Face could flirt with the tank's AI. Oooookaaay then. An' then they all played the most unequal game of 'Capture The Flag' since Sherman marched on Atlanta. An' in office hours, we had some kind of Nine Inch Nails battle goin' on between Atton who was blasting his music till Anakin came by to gloat about runnin' his students into the ground and card games, an' Eliot, who was practicin' his guitar much more quietly. I honestly had no idea Eliot knew who Trent Reznor was, so good job, man. Bob came by an' said that Eliot's music was just as depressin' as Atton's, but at least quieter an' Eliot was shocked that Bob never bothered to learn to play an instrument.

Movin' over to my least favorite beat, Dorms, Alluka was waitin' in her room for friends to show up. Turns out she had plans to go shoppin' with Ringo an' Mabel, so after a bit of hairstylin' an' introductions an' whatnot, the girls went out. An' that's all this note has to say about that, so woo! Movin' on!

Over in Town, we had the first meetin' of Hannibal's discussion group, where some folks showed up. Folks arrived, includin' Elsa who escorted a...cloud?...an' Alluka who caught up with Jono, an' then presumably there was some talkin' an' such, but none of that got reported because that stuff's personal an' private. So if anyone at home is wonderin' if goin' to talk on Wednesdays a thing they should do, I can tell you now that you don't gotta worry about discretion. Even the squirrels respect that, so good on them.

In stuff we can talk about, Book Haven got in a shipment of Gothic novels an' decided to Gothic up the atmosphere for poor Alana an' over at Stark Industries, Cosima was scrollin' through Sapphire profiles. An' there goes everythin' nice I said about squirrels an' discretion. Ringo stopped by lookin' for precision screwdrivers an' they chatted about Ringo's ATs, an' Ringo offered to let Cosima try a pair out next week. At the beach, Jasper nearly decided to go for a swim before decidin' it was stupid. An' last we have Kitty at Caritas walkin' in on a Taylor Swift dance party. But no one joined in. Uh-oh. Sounds like we got some Bad Blood here.

*Squirrels booing*

What? This time it was a good pun! Ow! Ow! A'ight! Hardison out!
