"You know, you hear about people being accosted by squirrels and you laugh it off and just assume they're drunk or something, but apparently -- get off my shoe with those little hands of yours, you will scratch the leather you poorly-dressed rodent -- apparently it really happens.
So. I suppose I'm reading these notes, then. Oh, and this is Irene Adler, being held here to broadcast over threat to my Louboutins. As if you didn't know.
Yesterday was Monday, so of course classes were fully in session -- though I do hope that those of you who felt that you still needed to rest after the weekend did so. Your teachers will understand if anyone needs to take a powder this week of all weeks, I'm sure. Adulting learned how to change a tire, which convinces me further that I should probably have found a way to sign up for that, despite ostensibly being an adult already, and not a student at all. Over in the library, Barry was monitoring the island's progress on a tablet, which isn't honestly even a thing I knew one could do but it doesn't surprise me that Barry managed it. In Science and Technology, students showed off what they made at home for last week's assignment -- except for Four, who mainly just played with a shield and needed help fixing it. Baking was held at the teacher's home, which just goes to show that Dr. Lecter is a much more welcoming and open teacher than I am, because none of you are ever seeing where I live. Sorry. And he cooked for them. Kathy was thrilled because, per usual, the food was delicious. Dr. Lecter checked in with Sparkle, who was also urged by Kathy to try the amazing food. And over in Basic Mis-Intelligence, everyone got to watch old spy comedies, which really sounds more my speed, anyway.
The dorms were quite quiet, yesterday -- Ezra got a care package from home, and Ronan seems to have given him rather the earful about last week -- but Ezra didn't much feel like putting up with the ol' Ronan attitude, by the looks of things, and kicked him out. Good for you, Ezra.
Oh, shit, I oughtn't have said that aloud. Oops. Anyway! On to town!
Kenzi and Sparkle watched cooking television and discussed both the possibility of there being ostrich at Luke's, and what he's doing after graduation, while Atton had Sparkle and Karina over for pizza and movie night, and Sparkle, you're going to need glasses if all you do is stare at screens, all right? That's a lot of television and movies for one day. And I don't want you to have to learn to do makeup around a pair of specs, darling.
Meanwhile, Dr. Lecter brought Jono dinner in bed, presumably and hopefully after the children left, and at Luke's, Eliot refuses to let the staff make the entire menu out of gummy frogs, though the cupcakes are all right. He was visited by both Hardison, who gave him a hard time about the hugging nightmare bears, and Parker, who told him about her strategy to hide from them. Genius.
Jack was having a delightful and productive day at the Devil's Nest, while at Caritas, Kenzi apologized to Tino exactly once, which is probably about half an apology more than he deserves, from what I know of Tino. And finally, Alana and Johnny went bowling, though she ruled out the use of powers and thus fire bowling. Which is just as well, because I'd prefer neither of you two ends up on fire, please. Or at least not more than usual, Johnny.
And that's it. Am I free to go?

You know, that's blackmail, holding onto my heel in that threatening way.

Oh, whatever, I'm done, you little -- "
