[identity profile] likeguidelines.livejournal.com
*sounds of squawking*

*click of a tape recording*

Testin', Testin'. This be [livejournal.com profile] likeguidelines bringin' ye a tape o' the latest 'n greatest of Fandom High before I be headin' down fer candy at Wonka's.

Readin', Writin', Rithamatic
Criminal Justice be talkin' in depth about this completely fascinatin' and no doubt educational book they be readin', Band class be workin' on their songs, and Music class be be gettin' their midterm grades, turnin' in their scavenger hunt projects, 'n talkin' about heavy metal. It be quite catchy.

*an incredibly loud version of Metallica's Whiskey in the Jar blasts through the radio*

*muttering* I should probably be turnin' that down when I do the real broadcast. *scatching sounds*

Criminology be gettin' a pop quiz, Arthurian Traditions be watchin' The Mists o' Avalon, and Home Ec be talkin' about their experiences raisin' tiny egg children. Most of them be not breakin' their children, Maia. Then they be gettin' pregnancy bellies t'walk around in. Heh. Includin' Boone. This should be good.

Crunch Buttsteak be takin' over fer Crazy Squid Lady in Abnormal Psych today. The students be writin' a paper on the apparently lengthy list o' mental illnesses she might have.

Professor Cregg's classes be givin' their speeches or takin' their midterms, Professor MacGyver's Shop class be gettin' covered in pumpkin guts by usin' thar flingers or gettin' too close to Shep, and Coach Ash be tellin' the Art Appreciation class t' paint him. I be not t'blame that I be takin' him literally.

Journalism class be given time t' work on their homework, Quantum Physics be learnin' about the quantum computer, and Biology be examinin' the cerebral cortex of a pig. What be a cerebral cortex? *sounds of paper shuffling* Pig brains? Oh, that be disgustin'! I should probably not be sayin' that either. *more scratching sounds*

Professor Dream be talkin' about midterm exams in Languages, Professor Slartibartfast be cancellin' Cookery class on account of a lack o' frogs--they all be in the dorms--and Professor Maclay in Philosophy class be talkin' about a philosopher who be tellin' us that the only moment we be sure of be the moment we be in. That be entirely too deep for me. *sounds of rum bottle being popped open*

Greco-Roman Archaeology be learnin' about the early Roman government, Small Business be continuin' their discussion on advertisin', Gym class be workin' on strength trainin', and Linguistics class be learnin' the Greek alphabet. It certainly be Greek fer them! No, that be lame. *more scratching*

Professor Cregg, Doctor Jackson, and Dean Bristow be holdin' office hours.

Evelyn be the only one in the library today, and Beka be the only one in the clinic.

In study hall, Wednesday be readin' t' her egg baby, Crichton totally be lyin' to Sam about her havin' pumpkin in her hair, Crichton 'n Lee chat, Death be plottin' how t' talk t' the Dean, and Angelus 'n Balthazor be playin' with their balls 'n handlin' wood. I can't be sayin' that. They be kickin' me ass. *more scratching* Phoebe 'n Beka be talkin', Cam be showin' Anders his Ab Psych class notes, and Crichton 'n Anders be throwin' shit at each other. *shuffles notes* Probably not actual shit, though. Major K! be bringin' his broken iPod t' Anders to get fixed. Like repaired fixed, not like what happens t' puppies.

Roomin'
Jonathan, celebratin' his sexile, be makin' waffles in the common room. Archie be feelin' better. That be good to hear.

Thar be another poster up fer the Fashion Show. A possibility o' wenches in leather? I be thar, t' be sure. With a camera. And bells on. Speakin' o' which, thar be an ad fer it around here somewhere. *two minutes of dead air as Barbossa roots around the studio* Ah, here it be.

Come to the JA Fashion Show! )

Harry be needin' t'learn t'be more sneaky if he be smugglin' alcohol around the dorms. He be runnin' into Kiki 'n Paige before finally endin' up at Sawyer's room.

Be sure t'sign up fer the self-defense course. Mayhaps ye kin use it against the bizarre infestation o' frogs. Thar even be a camp-out on the roof to avoid them, although the frogs be disappearin' as the day be goin' on. I be not thinkin' about what be served in the cafeteria tomorrow, I be not...

The chickens be havin' a meetin'. I be nervous about that. If they be formin' an alliance wit' the frogs, God be helpin' us all. Speakin' of God helpin' us all, Krycek be pickin' up his espresso machine that be fixed by Bridge.

Thar be a party at the Huntzberger House on Saturday. That be where Logan-who-never-be-a-bunny lives. Parker-who-has-a-bunny 'n Michael be not thar, though. They be goin' away together fer the weekend.

Beka be sendin' emails out t' her interviewees fer That Damn Ethics Project That Won't Go Away, an interview with ABC, and t' some potential roommates.

Kitty's stuff be disappearin' today. Oh, that be very sad. Goodbye, Kitty-who-I-never-be-meetin'. That might be a bit harsh. *more scratchings*

Callynanders be cute. I be not mentionin' it fer a few days, so I didn't want ye to be too concerned. Six 'n Wednesday are also bein' cute.

Han be takin' the first shift fer SafeWalk, and Piper 'n Veronica be havin' a sleepover. So far I be hearin' nothin' about sexy lingerie or pillow fights, but ye'll be the first t'know.

Revelin'
Science Club be makin' infared goggles. Marty be stoppin' by t' observe. Professor Ted be offerin' some most excellent dream interpretation t' the brooders over at Deep Thoughts.

Rufus be droppin' Professor Ted's hetero life partner best friend Bill off in a flyin' phone booth, and they be meetin' up with Shane 'n Professor Maclay. No, this be not the rum talkin'.

Aaron be gettin' an orientation at Red's, Parker be seen goin' into Blood Gulch Arms, Aayla 'n Maia be talkin' on the beach, and Lilly be lookin' into bein' GOB's assistant.

At the Emporium, Shane 'n Professor Maclay be meetin' Hunter 'n talkin' about the karaoke bar. Chihaya be gettin' introduced t' Hunter, too. The brothers also be meetin' up wit' Hunter. Hunter be terribly popular, apparently.

In the park, Professor Chaucer 'n Inara be chattin', then Inara be discussin' tai chi wit' Aayla. Professor Cregg 'n Doctor Wilson be thar talkin' about open relationships 'n Tex be havin' trouble wit' the ducks. Crowley 'n Professor Chaucer be thar as well, much later in the evenin'.

Paige be shoppin' fer non-slutty lingerie at Cat's. *sounds of inappropriate snickering* Professor Tick also be stoppin' at the Fourth Sin t' tell them they be spellin' Inn wrong. *more inappropriate snickering* Oh, and Angelus 'n Belthazor be usin' it fer what God intended, I certainly hope. Because it doesn't really shout "romantic date" t'me. Oh, I definitely need t'not be sayin' that tonight.

Shane 'n Professor Maclay be gettin' an absolute shitload--no, I can't be sayin' that--a whole ton' o flowers delivered. Shane also be gettin' chocolate 'n a surfboard from Professor Maclay.

Aziraphale's be hoppin' today. Jarod be goin' thar to read up on his new jobs, and Puss be comin' in to find Jiji and go fer milk at the Perk. Mystique be book shoppin', the Doctor, Beka 'n Anakin be talkin' with Aziraphale, 'n Kiki be tryin' t' apologize t' Crowley.

Deb's also be busy. Jarod 'n Shane be chattin' about work, Professor Quayle 'n Lana-who-be-forgettin'-all-about-Archie be eatin', and Professor Maclay 'n Hunter be talkin'.

Professor Maclay also be commissionin' some work from Professor Chaucer 'n gettin' introduced t' Marty. Loz also be stoppin' in. He be wantin' to take Professor Chaucer somewhere tomorrow. That be soundin' excitin'.

Earlier today at Wonka's, Maia be buyin' gummi bears, Jarod shops, and Aaron buys apology candy.

I be headin' thar now before curfew be kickin' in. I be finishin' this up when I get back.

*click*

*sounds of hissing and a very annoyed parrot voice saying "Shiver Me Timbers!"*

*sound of a very irritating computer generated voice*

Bugger this. I be a bird.

*pirate sounds really strange coming from a monotone computer voice*

Faith be takin' me to the fourth floor common room fer ye all t'mock and for me to poop on! Hopefully this be wearin' off at some point.

That be all from the Crow's Nest. I be definitely not doin' this until I be no longer a parrot. Keep an eye out fer the Rover, and have a good night!

*sound of dead air as a parrot tries to figure out how to shut the microphone off*

Hello, Fandom! This is Jaye, filling in for Barbossa-who-currently-be-a-birdie! *sounds of squawking, followed by the unmistakable sound of a camera flash* Oh, that's gonna be the Christmas card this year.

Edumacation

A bunch of schools have Veteran's Day off. Those schools don't include ours.

If you're walking around still singing "All that Jazz", you probably watched "Chicago" in Professor Cregg's Speech class. Also, Journalism writes fake headlines, Math deals with food, and everyone in Physics is smarter than me.

Ethics class is split into two groups for discussion, Physical Geography learns about some carbon cycle thingie, and Cultivation and Gardening is still about plants. Introduction to Anthropology looks at primatology. Don't give me words like that on a Friday, my brain's already turned off.

The Doctor, Professor Maclay and Dean Bristow all hold office hours.

In the library, Marty researches gremlins, Archie catches up on classwork, and Parker and Angelus fight. As they do. They're kind of like the Itchy and Scratchy of our time.

It's pretty slow in Study Hall today. Bel and Phoebe are kinda snuggly while Crichton and Co. talk pets. Speaking of talking pets, Alanna's cat talks to Beka. Once upon a time that would have been a weird sentence. Now... notsomuch.

Dorm Life With Martha Stewart

The dorms... are really quiet. I think if you didn't head out of town, you're either hanging at the Fashion Show or belting out karaoke.

Professor Sidle is there for Professor Grissom. In a bandagey way. Speaking of teachers, Mr. The Tick is building a utility belt FOR JUSTICE with Sam's help. Little Wooden Boy killer Lockheed is amused.

Shep hangs out before classes, Chloe gets a birthday present, and Kawalsky's all smitten with Elizabeth. In not great news, someone sent Broots a virusy E-mail. That wasn't very nice. However, I admire your havoc-wreaking style, Mysterious E-mailer.

Crichton, Lee, Crunch Cameron Crunch and Aeryn are being kinda goofy (OOC: And eventually NWS- and no, John and Lee aren't doing it), Veronica's room is inspected for frogs, Archie catches up with Kawalsky after that whole amnesia thing, and Maia's having a few relationship talks in her room.

Logan-who-used-to-be-a-bunny and Anakin join everyone else who's leaving town for the weekend. Hey, when do I get a vacation? Who do I need to bribe? Do I have to do more than bribe? I'm willing.

Out and About

Crowley's on a roll this week, because now he's pissing off Professor Chaucer. Our ordinarily nice Geoff then proceeds to be mean to Becky, fight with Professor Cregg and thus ruins her day. Look, he's basically mean to everyonebefore giving Paige a well-deserved talkin' to. *sounds of birdie!Barbossa squawking* Hey, Feathers, do I step on your lines?

At the Perk, Callisto gets an art lesson from Jake, Chihaya interviews Marty, and Aaron and Yazoo are all USTy.

Kawalsky goes into Blood Gulch Arms before it closes for a very dead Gun Club meeting. Considering Wrestling Club also got canceled, maybe it's just a trend.

Red's is pretty hoppin' today. Shane comes in to talk and meet the new guy, Bagoas gets a nipple piercing- GAH! Nerve endings, people, think of the nerve endings!- and scary little Miho talks! Please don't cut me.

Crichton takes in the Canadian badness at the theater. Trust me, I've seen part of the movie. There's no excuse for it. Also at the theater- *pause* Nothing happened with me. Who wrote that? You're fired.

Anders is totally going all out. He goes shopping, takes Cally to the new fun place in town, and then Callynanders is freaking adorable at the Russian place I'm not even going to try to pronounce. Warm fuzzies!

Caritas is open, and everyone is taking the stage. Someone explain to me why you'd do karaoke if you're not already drunk off your ass? I don't get it. Angela gets some advice from Lorne before meeting Bizarro Rory, aka Becky, The Doctor is having a bad day, and Han and Bagoas stop in as part of their date. And it looks like Angelus is joining the ranks of people who are known by other people that they don't know. If it sounds confusing, well... it is.

Maia has an easy time enduring a hell all women must go through: bathing suit shopping. Then she and Chiana head to the beach. Watch out for that pneumonia, girls. It's November out there. Inara talks with Jarod before she heads out of town, people are booking hotel rooms and there's some weird creepy ass stuff going down at the hotel.

If you're at Spike's, you're probably having a sucky day. Unless you're Angelus, who's talking about his bad boyness. In other social news, Michael and Ben have Tara and Shane over for dinner.

But whatever, guys. The harpy has a name.

And other randomness

And finally, they can stop hanging a the posters in the dorms, because the Fashion Show has finally happened! We've even got girl!Jake! It's hot young things in leather, how can you go wrong?

That's it for me. It's been fun, thanks for listening. I feel like we've really grown together, you and me. Call me, we'll go out for coffee.
