I am tanned, relaxed, and not even annoyed about being ambushed by the squirrels for this. Hello, new folks. I'm Tony Stark and this is the gossip that masquerades as news around town provided by drunk rodents. You get used to it after a while.
All the news from yesterday was at the welcome picnic. With new folks like Henry who just woke up here and had Arden explain where and when he was. Oh yeah, that also happens sometimes. Lydia did the same with him, letting him know about things like plumbing. Well. That'll solve a lot of issues at least. Also new is Luma who Arden greeted and found out she's Eleanor's sister here as a surprise and the squirrels are looking extremely dubious about how nice of a surprise it's meant to be. And I'll actually have to agree with them. Lydia, however, seemed to have a much more friendly interaction with Luma, comparing families and when they're from. Eleanor was suitably surprised by Luma's appearance at the school... and this is just a poorly drawn picture of a squirrel eating popcorn. You know what, sometimes you just take what you're given here.
Jag, who sounds new, and Jaina, who sounds less new, discovered they're teaching a class on teamwork together. Eleanor and Arden discovered that one of the squirrels was trying to put... raisins in the potato salad. I will assume they were drunk. They then compared the classes they're both taking this semester. Jack, also sounds new, talked with Lilianna about music and adventures off island. Prompto found out that Lilliana was teaching a class this year. Oh yeah, I think JARVIS signed me up for that. Stark and Rey also talked about classes and also the new faces.
Summer and Rey talked about how there used to be a lot more new faces during their day and wow does that make me feel old. Lana learned from Summer what a ferret was and then about how her family involves giant fighting robots. That sounds... kind of like they're the Fantastic Four or something, honestly. Stark was apparently involved with the giant, fighting robots. Which is a normal thing I have said here, folks. Gladio mentioned to Lilliana how he wished he'd been able to help out with her time back home. Lyida and Arden decided to make a cat cafe on the island with a tiktok famous cat. Which seems about as much as a business plan as any store here needs, honestly. Rey complimented Lydia's parasol before it turned into a discussion of fashion. Ignis and Liliana discussed cooking for her class and... well, I'd say there's more but the squirrels just doodled hearts on it instead. So let's just assume it was romantic.
Stewart and Arden talked about classes and the struggles of being social. Gray was caught up on the gossip by Arden and complained about people changing the names of things. And then, last of all, Lilianna and Stark caught up with what was happening with him and his being single now.
And that's all they wrote for me. Everyone is hopefully settling in and ready for the next school session.
*chittering*
Oh. Oh! Right. And happy mother's day to everyone.
