pun_king: (hand out talking)

Goooooood morning, Fandom! And welcome to another thrilling and exciting Friday morning broadcast of *trumpeting fanfare* the Radio! It's Friday, so that means you've got me, your intrepid host, Sir Graham of Daventry, to read of the squirrel's notes from yesterday, so let's just get right into it, shall we, and get on with having another excellent Friday!

We'll be starting, as always, with the School! Let's Play Some Sports! hit the slopes to learn how to ski and snowboard, and Nell and Gladio decided to stick around and enjoy the restort! Relaxing for Dummies did delayed introductions over brunch, Health Education was all about vaccines, and, despite the warmth of the Library yesterday, Belle wasn't sure she approved of the gremlins bringing in their own pool to play in, but at least no one would have to worry about being stuck with too dry of a read, right?

Right!

And, of course, it should be no surprise to you that the only note I have for the Dorms is that there are no notes for the Dorms, but over in the Town, there are notes aplenty! Starting with Adrian at Pick Your Poison, familiarizing himself with some new plants at the store and getting the chance to compliment Pam on bringing them in as they settled in for some more plant talk! It's a topic I hear can really grow on you, but personally? I could probably take it or leaf it! And....oooooh, over at the Maaaaaaaagpie Empoooooor~rium, Steph was having on a sale on paint because we've apparently gotten a lot of it in, so I'll probably have a sale on paint today, too! And speaking of paint, the Argentums made some plans for a family nail painting night when Prompto stopped in for Liz's lunch break at the Photo Hut, so get ready to be wowed by some awesome new nails from all of them!

Thanks to a delivery of flowers from Detective Watts, there was plenty of romance in the air for Steven at the Museum even without the displays he was working on, and Boc was displaying some fancy new gloves in the window at Pixie Dust, so if you get a chance, you should check them out, and Stewart was dealing with a lot of little tiny harmonicas at Groovy Tunes, and I might have to go check those out!

*sudden cacophony of harmonica sounds*

Oh! They're squirrel harmonicas!

*harmonic confirmation*

Yeah, no, that makes sense! Moving along now, The Supper Club met at Chilly Boulder this week, where whether or not ice cream was a suitable supper was a significant source of speculation! Me personally? I'm about to be a big fan of ice cream for breakfast as soon as this is over! Rey and Miss Bennet discussed flavors, while Ignis chatted with Miss Bennet about how ice cream was a real treat in her time. He and Liliana talked about what they were going to get for their 'welcome home' sundaes, and then he firmly disapproved of Rey's ice cream dinner habits, which feels like a real cold take, if you ask me! He should probably be more ice about it and just chill out! Like Liliana! Who told Miss Bennet about how ice cream dinners were great, and she also told Rey that vacations were great, and Rey should take more of them, especially since going different places for work didn't count. Adrian got to tell Rey and Miss Bennet about churning his own ice cream....which sounds like it could be a lot of fun! Oooh, I could make jellybean ice cream! I am totally looking into this!

Anyway, Captain Flint was just sort of amazed by all the different flavors--they do have a lot!--and Rey suggested starting with chocolate and explained to him about how free samples worked, while Miss Bennet also agreed on chocolate with an additional suggestion of raspberry, which lead to comparring the plethora of pink options! And Liliana advocated for butter rum!

Me? I say just get all of them! I've got a bowl of chocolate raspberry butter rum bubble gum already calling my name!

And, of course, you could definitely call Thor's name or you could call him shirtless at the Devil's Nest, which was plenty warm to advocate for all that shirtlessness, but no word on if the gremlins moved their pool from the library there later on.

With that, we conclude our notes with our usual send-off! I hope you've enjoyed the little news recap yet again this week, and are looking forward to another one next week, but, until then, I really do hope you have a great one, and I'll see you around! Bye!!!
