pun_kingGoooooood morning, Fandom! Welcome to the Radio, and happy Friday! And if it's Friday, then you know what that means! It's me, Sir Graham of Daventry, coming to your airwaves and podcasts with all the news that the squirrels bothered to scrible down yesterday! I know I'm excited to see what they've caught; are you? Let's get into it!
Oh! And just a quick public service announcement, there are pits that appear to have popped up in certain places...at least this is true for my way into the studio, but have no fear! They are awesome! If you get a chance to jump into one, I highly recommend it. I assure you, you'll have a ball! I would absolutely decor-rate the experience a 10 out of 10!
And with that? To the notes! Starting, as always, with the School! Continued Earth Tourism went off to the Christkindlmarkt in Austria, and if you're wondering what we did for Fun Animal Facts, well, the antler is that we met a moose! That was supposed to be a reindeer, but that didn't work out. I hear they're pretty busy this time of year! Teamwork Training and Combat Skills took the dreidel game to extremes where you could win a fight, food, or fun, which only confirms my continued disappointment of not making it into that class! *siiiigh* Anyway, better luck for me next year, I guess! Finally, for the School we have, the Library, where the usual shusher became the shushee when Belle had questions for the gremlins and their dreidel game!
And we have no notes for the Dorms except the note telling me there are no notes for the Dorms, but over in the Town, we had Adrian still not getting enough of 'Carol of the Bells' over at Pick Your Poison, much to Yelena's chagrin. Yelena was also a little chagrined to discover that the Starbucks at Stark Industries had moved on from Pumpkin Spice to Peppermint Mochas, but Adrian had a gift for her that seemed to make everything all better!
Boc decorated Pixie Dust with trees and gold, and Stewart was much more approving of the music at Groovy Tunes this week. Prompto brought an assortment of subs for lunch with Liz at the Photo Hut, where they talked about their respective days. Steph was pretty busy recommending games and working on her computer at the Maaaaaaaagpie Empoooooor~rium, while, over at the Museum, Steven got some flowers from I'm Pretty Sure You Don't Have to be a Detective to Guess Who! and a visit from Nell for some holiday treats and catching up!
The staff at Luke's was too busy playing Dreidel to cook, so Duke stepped up to the task, just in time for the Supper Club to arrive! Captain Flint and Rey discussed what to call one's fellow Supper Clubbers, and seemed to settle on Associates and speculated on illegal activities. The Captain also found out from Duke that the wooden tops everywhere yesterday were called dreidels and that they involved a game, and then Logan and Captain Flint told each other to Word I Cannot Say and Will Get Bleeped Anyway Off. Duke directed Rey to the Supper Club's table, before she explained to Logan about how much this holiday weird...stuff happens, and then she got a sweater for Christmas from Adrian! Ignis also brought gifts of food, which are my favorite kinds of gifts, let's be real! He made sure Duke and the staff got some, as well as Rey, before he and Liliana were very romantic at each other, and why are you looking at me like that? Did you guys eat some bad nuts recently or something?
Um, well, anyway, Adrian also had gifts for Ignis and Liliana, the latter of which swept in giving Duke a wink and talking to Rey about how her favorite things at Luke's are not on the menu!
Captain Flint got his present from Ignis once the Supping began, and Adrian speculated with the Captain about whether or not they'd be meeting next week or not because of the holidays. Adrian also explained to Logan the concept of Christmas presents, and can you imagine not knowing about presents? I think everyone should get Logan presents now, to make up for all the lost time! Lydia arrived a little late, but she was bearing gifts, as well, which included a book for Captain Flint, a Merry Christmas for Logan, and there was just a bunch of stuff exchanged between Lydia and Adrian!
And then, later, over on the Cape Rouge, Duke was doing some research on a medical diagnosis, which he talked about with both Lucifer and Octavia, but since we here at WTFH Radio respect medical privacy, that's all we'll be saying on that.
*chittering*
Well, okay, some of us do. And I'm one of them, and I'm the one reading the notes, so there.
