afraid_of_marshmallowsHey there Fandom, it's ya girl, Arden Finch, running a little on the late side this morning. I don't know if it's the oncoming winter or what, I used to be a morning person but now crawling out of bed feels impossible these days. Anybody else dealing with that?
Anyway, things were more-or-less back to as normal as they get on this island, what with everyone going back to their normal ages yesterday morning - though we're swinging into major holiday times, so normal remains even less a concept than usual in this place. Up at the School, The Various Gods & You talked about what the gods were probably like when they were young, which sure is a thought, Fast Talking cancelled class, and Sex Ed had a guest instructor in Professor Beniko to have about the female reproductive system.
I'm cuddling a porg, so we clearly have no Dorm notes, but Town had some stuff going on. Professor Scientia woke up an adult and joined Professor Vess in their bedroom, where ah. They then went back to sleep, I'm sure. Turtle and Canary is selling contraceptive cheese now, apparently, and I have both questions and concerns, but it seemed Vi was enjoying not having either during her not-quite-nap at the Magpie Emporium and ambushing Steph into cuddles and naps, too. Brilliant, actually. Intern of the Year, Kamala Khan - hi, Kams! - was hard at work at Stark's while drinking a green smoothie, and Detective Watts was shaking off his weekend with coffee and a muffin - no donut, Detective? Hee - at The Perk, and chatted with Mr. Crocker about what it's like being a time-displaced kid on Fandom. Apparently the answer is 'loud' which is...yeah, pretty true, honestly.
Raiden - hi, Raiden! - spent his Pizza Planet shift sending instructions home for his brothers for Thanksgiving, and Professor Not-The-Rich-One Stark watched the crab watch cartoons at the Clinic, and Dr. Isley took a nap during her shift at Pick Your Poison.
So, it looks like it was pretty quiet with everyone recovering from the weekend. In that case, this is ya girl Arden Finch, signing off and leaving you with Devil in a Dress by Rhea Raj
