Because it's Friday, and you're tuned into the thrilling, the exciting, the....informative?...Friday morning broadcast of!...*trumpeting fanfare* the Radio! With me, your brave Sir Graham of Daventry, ready to fight through the drunken scribbles of our favorite neighborhood squirrels to tell you about some of the things they found noteworthy...literally!...from yesterday!
Let's get started, shall we?
Starting, as always, with the School! Teamwork Training and Combat Skills continues to make me sad I didn't get into that class because they played a really fun sounding game that the squirrels say is basically rugby with weapons. I must know more! But all the other information on this note is about how Nell and Gladio were cute after class and made hot tub plans. Mmmmm. Hot tub plans do sound nice....
...Anyway, this broadcast is about to go from hot tub to cold caverns, because Continued Earth Tourism had a really cool time by visiting an ice cave! It was all very chill, and if I had the chance? I would definitely take the opportunity to go back and fro-zen again! But, moving on, before the squirrels decide to give me and these puns the cold shoulder, to the library, where some squirrels playing card games inspired Belle to look into the rules on a few card games herself!
Hey, Belle! You know where else you can learn more about a lot of great and fun card games? At the Maaaaaaaagpie Empoooooor~rium! Especially later today, when I'll be working! Just saying!
Anyway, we have a note for Maaaaaagpie Empoooor~rium, where people were wrong on the internet, but have no fear! Steph is here to show them the right way! But we first have to acknowledge that, of course, as you might expect, we have no notes for the Dorms except for the note telling me there are no notes for the Dorms, but over in other news about the Town that isn't about the Maaaaaaaagpie Empoooooor~rium, we have Adrian showing up for work at Pick Your Poison, only to turn into a plant, which I hear does happen to some people around here instead of animals, and there's no need to vine about it, not when it's a state of bean that can really grow on you! Anyway, Pam was there to sympathize and close down the shop since Adrian really couldn't just...leaf it at that himself!
Nothing seemed to be going right for Yelena at Stark Industries, I'm getting a strong urge to call Stewart, maybe, at Groovy Tunes, and Boc seemed fine with being buried under a pile of coats at Pixie Dust. Then, Prompto brought Liz a new spicy Thai dish to try for lunch at the Photo Hut, and Steven was brought a gift of popcorn....a very good gift indeed!...while he was working at the Museum, and I'm pretty sure can guess where that gift was coming from!
This week's Supper Club got to enjoy the flavors of South of the Border with a trip to El Burrito Loco, which Rey arrived just in time for! She got to learn about bluestockings from Lydia...my stockings are red, actually! They match my cloak!....and she got to tell Ignis a little bit about her trip! Ignis and Lydia talked about how their weeks were and about other travels, while Dean was just there for the tacos...mood!...and learned about Supper Club! Rey suggested he come back for future Supper Clubs, and Lydia explained it to him, while he and Ignis caught up. Lydia intercepted Captain Flint on his way to a shadowy corner to talk to him about fossils and giant squids, as did Rey to find out about his passing familiarity with the Spanish. And then, of course, there was eating, although Captain Flint's burrito was a bit on the unruly side; thankfully, Dean was there to help put a wrap on that!
And putting a wrap on these notes, we have, of course, the Devil's Nest, where Yelena got to tell Thor about her aformentioned rough day at Stark's Industries, and Gladio got to tell Thor all about the glories of Cup Noodle.
*squirrely chittering*
Oh, I'm sorry, I apparently pronounced that wrong. It's actually *clears throat* Cup NoodleTM.
*small sound of a cash register dinging*
