What up, island? It's ya girl Arden Finch here today with all the gossip of yesterday that we're pretending is news. The radio station is full of blankets and pillows, the porg brought me a cup of tea, I could definitely get used to this kind of treatment. However, we all know that cozy, peaceful days like this don't last, especially not in this radio station, so let's get through these notes before time's up.
School starts with The Various Gods & You watching a movie in cozy hoodies--
*squirrel chittering*
--Excuse me, comfy hoodies, tee-em, and I'm pretty sure that this is going to be a theme because Fast Talking also had a film day. Well, actually, Fast Talking pretty much always shows movies and Sex and Sexuality had us taking internet quizzes to show how dumb the internet is about gender. The internet informs me I'm casually female, in case anybody was wondering. Okay, so maybe the cozy movie thing wasn't a theme after all. False alarm.
No notes from the Dorms, but Town was in full swing.
Dean was still a dog at the Infinite Consortium and Professor Vess was not best pleased about that. Professor Scientia stopped by and from what I can make out through these scribbles is that they talked about her...going for a walk on Friday? And Professor Foster came and picked up Dean, who wasn't...taxidermied, I think this says? Why is this like trying to read a redacted government file? Dr. Isley was taking it easy at Pick Your Poison, and Professor Smith was greeted by candy and no Christmas decorations at Turtle and Canary. Ellie - hi, Ellie! - stopped by to get Squishies for Kams who is still a sloth -still? Hit me up, Ellie, if you need to hand her off for a bit. Professor Not-The-Rich-One Stark texted to make plans for a cozy evening date with onsen, movies, and pizza, and so help me, Leroy, you throw that and I will smack you like your mama shoulda.
The Magpie Emporium had no coziness, but Vi doing chores and Steph stopping by with lunch to talk different colors of paint. The Clinic was having a cozy day with the crab in pajamas and now I'm confused about whether it is a theme or not. Pizza Planet skipped coze for had Canadian flavors, but that could just be for safety and hygiene reasons. Officer McGarrett was excited to see that there was Hawaiian pizza, which I did not realize came from Canada. I thought it was, you know. Hawaiian.
*porg cooing*
I have just been informed that pineapples aren't native to Hawaii, either...and they grow from bushes, not trees. This has been an educational broadcast, for sure, and also I feel like I've been lied to my whole--
Yeah, we're just gonna move on. Officer McGarrett must have stopped by for Pizza during the run, because otherwise he was at the Trooper Station playing Minesweeper, and Devil's Nest had a pillow fort behind the bar. Which still doesn't answer whether or not this is an island theme thing.
Either way, I've finished my tea and spilled what I had of the island's, so it's time for me to go. This is ya girl, Arden Finch, saying bye for this week, but leaving you with Seven Devils by Florence + The Machine. Have a great day Fandom!
