Well, yes, I should hope I look different from last week, as apparently last week I was positively ancient--ah. Good morning, dear listeners, it is I, Lydia Bennet, with all the news the squirrels saw fit to scribble down yesterday. Let's begin, shall we?
We shall start as usual with the school, where Dr. Navaan taught her Romancing for Dummies students about the importance of costumes to the whole endeavor--well, they say the clothes do make the man?--and of course there were the customary introductions. In Cultural Appropriation, Professor Eagle had his students fill out some paperwork, and in Hitting Things with Big, Sharp Sticks the students learned that the swords they would be handling were very large indeed prior to doing introductions, trying out the blades on offer, and--I have no idea why the squirrels are snickering--learning some basic maneuvers. In Kitchen Design According to Nancy Meyers, Miss Diaz was...annoyed that anyone had taken her class, but then they watched a film and talked about the kitchen in it, before Big Thinking, Deep Drinking saw our last round of introductions for the week.
No notes for the dorms, thank you--no. I've told you your big sad porg eyes don't work on me. Oh, do stop it...let's just move along to the town, where Miss Khan received a phone call from her parents at the boarding house and shared some important news. Meanwhile, at the clinic Dr. Navaan was a..."sexy ghoul..." whilst at the trooper station Detective Watts had mangoes and Mr. Grant popped by for lunch. Mr. Stewart was at work at Groovy Tunes, while Dr. Quinn caught up on some reading at Needful Things and Mr. Argentum learned about something called an 'Etch-a-Sketch' at Turtle & Canary. Miss Mariner was drinking espresso shots--again, don't know what that is--at Stark Industries--
*chittering*
The squirrels tell me it is a strong form of coffee, so I will happily leave that to her. We're down to our last few notes, so let's see...Mr. Barnes was working at the theater, and at The Devil's Nest Mr. Lucifer wasn't sure how to feel about Mr. Tiny's crafting, which Mr. Winchester also had some concerns about before a Miss Envy arrived and was greeted by Mr. Lucifer and Mr. Winchester. Welcome, or more like welcome back, as it seems she went to school here some time ago.
And that's everything the squirrels saw fit to report! Congratulations to everyone who managed to evade their beady gaze this week, and best of luck in maintaining your privacy next week! You will need it. Farewell until then, dear listeners!
