That was "A Barely Lit Path" by Oneohtrix Point Never, and you're listening to WTFH. Fandom! What's going on? It's the last Tuesday of Stephtember and I kind of can't believe that.
*sad trombone noises*
Wow, Leroy, okay. So anyway, in Classes news, Evolutionary Science covered the theory of natural selection, Practical Folklore discussed werewolves and other werecreatures, and Try Not to Die had to learn to work together while locked in a room together under a time limit, which -- hey, that sounds super escape room-ish.
*chittering*
*sad trilling*
No, I don't think the Dorms notes escaped, I just think there aren't any.
*chittering*
Because that tends to be the case? Like it tends to be the case that Town is where the excitement was? Take Turtle and Canary, for example, where Summer figured out that the theme of the day was one-hit wonders and helped Liliana get set up with a phone.
*cheesy cheering sound effect*
Good job, intern porg. Prompto was having a quiet day at the Photo Hut aside from the lunchtime visit from Liz and Noctra, and over at Diaz & Ass. Rosa was horrified to discover her amazing note-taking skills and decided to burn -- literally -- the evidence of being Possibly Influenced By Nerds. But she didn't bribe the squirrels enough. Oops. Nell was keeping herself busy at Covent Garden Flowers, and at the Magic Box Eliot -- wait.
Dude, for real? He solved the scourge that is microtransactions by using magic? Dude, how is that not more in demand? Because that is amazing. At the Magpie Emporium, Vi was busy playing with Saffron --
*chittering*
I mean, considering literally nobody else gets to play with the store cat, it's kind of an important job, so I was happy to look after the store in the meantime. Raiden was not letting the Pizza Planet staff get started with the spooky pizzas yet, and the Steve who showed up was not the one who usually shows questionable amounts of enthusiasm for certain things on the menu. Oh, no. Instead, he was trying to see if Raiden would be interested in some of the surplus apples left over from the party last week. Meanwhile the troopers at the Station were disappointed to learn that other Steve didn't feel the need to bribe them with treats.
In unsettling holiday-adjacent news, Eric found out that the out-of-control mini-pumpkin-carving spree that Tiny was on was because Tiny and Tino had plans. Oh god. I wouldn't want to know either. Duke, meanwhile, was out on the beach being emo -- rude, Leroy.
And finally, over at the Clinic, Stark found Stabby not having much luck finding a crab-suitable Halloween costume. Yeah, I'm not sure there's a section for that at Spirit Halloween, sorry.
Is that it? That looks like all we've got for the day. Next time I talk to you all it will no longer be Stephtember, and that's just sad. Later, Fandom!
