Oh dear god, it's the end of July. Does this mean the horrid heat is nearly over?

*chittering*

No, I can't see the future.

*chittering*

Well for all I know, you can, but I was talking in a...a predictive based on more years than I've lived here sense.

*chittering*

We can but hope, I suppose. And make sure everyone's aircon is working well. If I'm stuck being a landlord, I can at least not be an awful one.

Right, yes, the...oh. Oh, it's on already. *sigh* My apologies. Right. The news.

Stark was in the park yesterday...erm. Rhyme not intended, but it's not as if I can help it. Apparently he enjoyed the weather, which granted wasn't quite as horrid yesterday, though I still wouldn't call it "sit in the sun" weather. Shunsui joined him and fed bagels to the birds, which ordinarily is a bad idea, but this is Fandom, so who knows. And they discussed Stark's time as a koala. And women, naturally, because this is Shunsui. *sigh*

And in the evening, Steven and Detective Watts had a night in and discussed camping, because... never mind. You do what you enjoy. Granted it's probably better when it's not during an apocalypse. And out on their boat, Lucifer and Octavia celebrated Duke's birthday with paella.

That was it, I believe, so I'm going to return to my air-conditioned flat and try to keep the cat from melting, poor thing. Have a lovely week.

Fandom. What's up? How is it August already? Anyway, this is Steph, and that was boygenius with "Bite the Hand."

Starting off with Workshops, More Pizza! took a little backwards jaunt through the time-travel magic of Portalocity to Lombardi's, which is technically not the oldest pizzeria in America, according to what the intern porg just handed me, but it is the first.

... this note doesn't elaborate further, though.

Blacksmithing!, also with the very important exclamation point, worked on a technique called "collaring," and if you thought that had something to do with wrapping metal around other metal, you win... an imaginary prize of your choice. The Care and Appreciation of Animals took to the figurative skies and learned about how to be a good bird owner. And Exploring Alien Cultures had a little bit of a mixup and ended up learning about jawas instead of Mirialans, like Lana originally intended.

No Dorms notes, probably to no one's surprise, but Town? That had stuff going on. At the Magpie Emporium, Vi had only one hand free to do all her chores because Saffron was demanding all the snuggles ever, which is fair, honestly. Hopefully Summer got some entertainment out of Turtle and Canary's National Jump For Jelly Beans Day challenge. Prompto sure was having fun checking out some new lens filters that the Photo Hut just got in. It does not appear that he got in trouble for doing so when Liz and Noctra came downstairs to join him for lunch. Rosa was taking advantage of a slow day at Diaz & Ass. to mess around on the Internet and maybe contemplate a new hairstyle, which Miguel thought she could rock better than the person in the pictures.

The Covent Garden< Flowers, uh, flowers were keeping Nell company with some upbeat background humming. Aww. Meanwhile Eliot was so bored at the Magic Box that he was just lying on the floor smoking... spicy cigarettes. Leroy won't tell me if that's a metaphor and I'm scared. Jon brought him coffee and determined that the reason he was lying on the floor was because he could. Entirely a valid reason.

And finally, at the Clinic, Stark and Stabby had a brand new stained glass crab window to appreciate, and hopefully the nurses appreciated the donuts Stark brought.

That looks like all the notes I have -- oh wait, here's one. I guess the squirrels want to know if they're the only ones who thought it was weirdly misty around the island yesterday? I kind of thought so. Not just me, apparently.

Anyway, that's all for me for this week, so until next Tuesday, everybody have an awesome week, okay?
