Good morning, everybody. This is...well, this weekend was a lot, so I'd like to keep this short.

Last night, our visitors left, with Stark and Zhaan saying their goodbyes, and Connor and Cutter saying goodbye to Stephen and Tom. Erm, that's not the Steven-with-a-v that lives here, but a weekend guest.

And then Steven and Detective Watts talked about his - Detective Watts', that is - visitor, and the difficulties of coming out. Which, yes. That can be...a bit fraught, really.

But that's all. Unless you had something else?

*subdued chittering*

Right, then. I, um. I have rum if you want to share?

*more enthusiastic chittering and a dubious trill*

And tea, yes. Come on.

[ETA: Sorry, guys; I saw a post marked Saturday and stopped scrolling. Thank you to Fry for mentioning it! Additional posts:
Connor and Cutter caught their guests up on their history and former dating
Liz and Prompto made pancakes with her brother, a visitor for the weekend
Tony and Steve, who had no visitors, had breakfast and discussed visiting New York
Octavia woke up with her guest
Nell had Gladio and Noctis (a guest) visit
Amicia avoided her guest by hiding on the roof]

How are you even -- *achoo* -- I'm allergic to all of you. This might be bad.

*trill?*

Some of us haven't exactly had a whole lifetime to acclimate to things like allergens yet. Don't take it personally.

*chittering*

No, I can figure it out. No, I've never done this before but I think I've watched enough holos to be familiar with the concept. Anyway, uh... hi? Your usual host couldn't be here today for reasons that honestly aren't all that relevant to me, so it looks like I've been recruited to cover. Kidnapped by squirrels. It could be worse.

Okay. So... Classes, I guess? More Pizza learned how to make mozzarella cheese, which is of course a necessary ingredient for most kinds of pizza. Blacksmithing learned the process of casting, which involves pouring molten metal into... things... oh, molds. Beaker is in that class so the odds of him catching on fire are definitely not nonexistent. Care and Appreciation of Animals got to play with puppies, which was essentially the best class I've ever taken, and Exploring Alien Cultures learned about the Chiss, who do not seem like a lot of fun if these notes I'm reading are a reliable source.

*indignant chittering!*

Well, I didn't say they weren't, either. There aren't any Dorms notes, which shouldn't be too -- *achoo* -- surprising. Town was busy, though. The cheese panda at Turtle and Canary was having a teddy bear picnic in, well, the cheese section. Summer joined in, but also made plans with Rey for a sangria night after their visitors over the weekend. At Diaz & Ass., Rosa left details about a "crab case," and I quote, for her employees in case they were interested in picking it up. At the Magpie Emporium, Vi was busy being moral support for Steph, who had complicated feelings about seeing her friend again. Nell seemed happy to have her Covent Garden Flowers duties to distract her from things, and this note about Steve at the Trooper Station buying a lot of dinosaur-shaped plastic grabber toy things has a lot of question marks scribbled all over it. I don't have enough information to speculate, so I don't -- *achoo* -- think I will.

The Photo Hut wasn't open yesterday, because Liz was still dealing with the aftermath of seeing her brother again and Prompto was there to comfort her. Cutter and Connor did some processing of their own over Chinese food after their friends... um, visited over the weekend. Octavia's version of coping involved staying in bed much later than usual, so Lucifer came to bring her some water and check on her. He didn't really believe that nothing was bothering Duke with the way he was beating up on a punching bag, though.

At the Devil's Nest, Eric told Tiny that he was going to... uh... burn the place down if Lucifer picked out ugly curtains? I am not sure if this is hyperbole, and I'm not going to guess. The drinks special involved strong drinks with no ice, which was Gladio's cue to make jokes about people who run a little hot, and this note says something about how they're both very subtle, really -- oh, that's sarcasm. Okay. Raiden was worried about what that meant for the margaritas, and also talked to Eric about the different Lucifer that he knows. Stark ordered bourbon and talked to Eric about how his visitor has been here three times already but he's still not used to it.

I don't know how anyone would even get used to that kind of thing, personally.

And --

*urgent trilling*

What? Oh, there's one more? I guess the clinic news is an important feature. Stark found out that Stabby didn't have any visitors over the weekend, which... is good because his cousins are still missing.

And I... have no idea how to segue out of that, so I'm just going to sign off now, okay? Um. Bye.
