craic_killerGood morning, it's me, Clare Devlin, with all of the news of why the entire island smelled of chocolate yesterday, and what happened at Caritas to celebrate Summer's birthday.

What do you mean 'spoilers'? There's nothing spoiled in these notes. I just read through them beforehand because I don't like surprises, Leroy.
Over at Shenanigans, the Dean has used enough chocolate pudding to free Ireland to make a pudding-based obstacle course that stretched around the island. Teams had to get across the wee pond using their arms while sitting on punching bags, then get carried piggyback style through town, through a swamp make of pudding and packing peanuts, across monkey bars designed to spin them off, and finally over an 8 foot wall where Beaker was expected to help llift a person. Congratulations to Team 'Merica for handling these hurdles the best.
In town, Shunsui was pleased that Selfie Day coordinated with the first day of summer. Meanwhile Apu was choosing to celebrate National Day of the Gong instead. Connor was late to work because he had t' de-pudding himself, Octavia busied herself at the axe range at the Devil's Nest, and that just leaves us Caritas! Annie took over Summer's shift so that Summer didn't have to work last night, and she made some Summer-themed drink specials. It was the very best surprise for Summer, who'd had no idea what Annie had planned. Steven brought a gift and then he and Summer talked about vegan food. Summer tried to talk Watts into getting a manicure, Rey loved her friend enough to drink a truly terrible cocktail, Stark was glad that his favorite bartender was being spoiled, and Lucifer tried every last shot on the menu because he is the Source of All Evil. Watts and Annie talked about the surprise she'd pulled off, the shot he should not try, and the gala at Stark Industries. Watts and Steven did their weekly affirmation of how very happy they were to know each other, Stark and Watts agreed they were having fun at this Summer night, oh well done, Intern Porg, grand word play! Steven told Annie about the casino planet he'd ended up on in Lana's class, and Steven and Stark talked about the spa day Stark had taken Summer on. And Lucifer, the Source of All Evil, realized he'd forgotten to get Summer a present. It will probably steal your soul because he's the literal DEVIL, so I say you dodged a wee bullet there, Summer.

Aye, I am holding me crucifix because my ma told me I'd get corrupted and go to Hell just coming to America and that was before I learned the DEVIL HISOWNSELF lives here. And on that, I'm off to church to pray the rosary because you can never be too safe. Slán!
