drumsticksandd20sThat was "pressure" by aldn with chloe moriondo, and this is WTFH. What's up, Fandom? Steph here, on the first Tuesday of the summer term, which means you're about to hear about the first day of Workshops.
*drumroll, cymbal crash*
Hell yeah, intern porg.
Kicking it off for the very first class of the term, in first period but no pressure at all, really, was Raiden's Pizza workshop. 'But Steph,' I hear you wonder, 'what's that one all about?' Oh man, have I got news for you, then. This one is about. You ready? Can you guess?
... pizza. The earliest recorded pizza in history, specifically, with no tomato sauce because Italy was kind of a pre-tomato place then. Which is a wild concept when I stop and think about it. Amaya gave the new Blacksmithing students the rundown on all the basic techniques they'll need for the term. I do recommend ice packs. Underwater Basket Weaving met at the beach, big surprise, and got to do super enthusiastic introductions with Sidon. Galactic Field Trips took us to Lana's home world, Odessen, and there were. So many. People to meet there, holy crap. It was awesome. And finally, Sam Eagle -- who is a literal eagle, my squirrel sources tell me nervously -- had everybody in the WeirDON'Ts class do, guess what?
Introductions. Bet you didn't see that one coming.
No Dorms notes, and the porg would probably look sadder but it's distracted trying to juggle drumsticks. And doing surprisingly well for having no thumbs that I can see.
But there were Town notes! Prompto was more upbeat than he has been in recent weeks over at the Photo Hut, where Liz and Noctra came to see him for the usual lunchtime visit. Apu was handing out cupcakes to Summer and the cheese panda at Turtle and Canary because it was Give Someone a Cupcake Day. Why? Why not. It's not the weirdest most random-ass holiday out there. Covent Garden Flowers was sadly kitten-free while Nell was doing chores in turbo mode, and Vi was doing some cleaning and rearranging at the Magpie Emporium, where I came in to ask her about pizza class and she tried to make sure I wouldn't go off with some space pirate mermaid during the field trip and forget to come home.
I did not, by the way. You might think this would be obvious but that would mean you haven't seen the squirrels' portable broadcasting rig and how they get around.
Octavia was out on the dock cleaning and sharpening a lot of sharp pointy implements that got the porgs' attention, and Lucifer brought her some chilled fruit juice. Gotta embrace that summertime vibe, right?
The Devil's Nest has bounced back from Werebeast Carnage! Eric showed up just in time to miss most of the actual work of getting it back in that state. Gladio, sans shirt as usual, decided he should get something made with Eric's newly replenished vodka stock, and Octavia got to hear about the bar being restocked, made sure the piano was intact, and told Eric about being a hyena last week.
And finally, because I know you were wondering, Stabby the Clinic crab is no longer a where-crab! Apparently he was off molting somewhere away from prying nurse and squirrel eyes, and who can blame him? Summer came by to give Stark a cupcake -- oh, glitter. Not on the cupcake, to my knowledge. Just all over my shoes now.
Anyway, that's all I've got for you today, so enjoy your Tuesday, everyone! I'm... gonna go make a laughable attempt to get some of this glitter off my shoes.
