That was
"Me and My Dog" by boygenius, and you're listening to WTFH. It's Tuesday -- again, because it keeps happening every week for some reason, which means you get... me. Your host, Steph. What's up, Fandom?
And now to find out what was going on in
School news yesterday!
Life Skills covered budgeting, which I kind of think is super unfun in any circumstances. Being lost in the wilderness is probably also unfun, so good thing
Practical Wilderness Survival exists to help some of you out with that! By covering how to build a fire, to be specific.
Interpretive Dance learned the basics of some jazz dance, just to cover all the building blocks before the class presumably jumps into the real interpretation business, and
Sensory Deprivation Combat Training upped the stakes by having things
freaking fly at students in the dark so they could practice avoiding them. Dude. What?
*earnest trilling* Oh, the darts glowed in the dark for the practice run. Gotcha. Thanks, intern porg.
*sad trilling* And there are no
Dorms notes. Sorry, intern porg.
And in that case, we move on to
Town, where someone brought a broken camera to the
Photo Hut for Prompto to repair, and he and
Liz talked about how they're both going to have their hands full like 24/7 pretty soon now. Vi was getting in some boxing training with our super helpful
Magpie Emporium shop robovac, except for when she was having grilled cheese sandwiches with
yours truly. Sakaki was busy dying of cute at
Furnado's new resident -- okay, that cannot be a thing, Leroy, can you look that up for me? A red Cantonese bear dog?
*chittering*
*gasps, mostly squirrely but one human*Okay, that is so cute I'm angry about it. Sorry, raccoon at the
Fire Station trying to convince Eddie the parked fire engine ran you over. I think the bear dog thingie wins. Rosa was using office time at
Diaz & Ass. to break in some new, and I quote, "badass" boots. Hundred percent solid use of office hours, in my totally expert opinion. Lucky Steve at the
Trooper Station got to hear the
fascinating details of Ralph's... arrest of someone who tried to hide in a giant teddy bear? I... am not sure whether I need to hear this story, or I absolutely do not want to know. Speaking of not wanting to know, that was once again Summer's philosophy at
Turtle and Canary when she found Apu and the cheese panda measuring their feet in the footwear aisle.
That, I also definitely don't want to know. Eliot was
super hung over at the
Magic Box, no judgment there,
especially since somehow the store went and got itself completely decaffeinated and let me say, bro,
yikes. You might've been better off heading over to
Covent Garden Flowers, where Nell had some nice strong coffee to help her cope with all the mega un-fun of dealing with suppliers. Also the kittens were running the store while she was busy?
*trilling*Not really, but you know what, let's just go with the mental image because it's fun. Raiden had some old-school specials at
Pizza Planet and Leroy, why is 'old-school' underlined five times?
*chittering* Because the recipes were five hundred years old. Okay. Not actually exaggeration, and sounding awesome actually. The movie theater was doing
Eighties horror, although Ulysses was pretty 'meh' about everything until
Michael came in and got his attention by talking about being an alien. Oh, and a movie ticket.
At
Caritas, Jane had fancy goblets and dragon-themed cocktails that
Raiden had to make sure weren't made with actual dragon hearts. That seems to be going around lately.
Stark ordered one of the dragon cocktails because it was Jane's first attempt at making a drink and he's supportive like that. The fact that said drinks came in fancy glasses was enough to convince
Rey to try it, though she said she'd draw the line at glowing drinks and you know what, that makes sense. Meanwhile at the
Devil's Nest Eric was drenched and totally not sulking about it, and hot drinks were on the menu... like the hot Cup Noodle soda
Gladio got Tiny to make because of course he did. Also they workshopped dragon-themed innuendos and dragons have just been doing some
work around here in the last week or so.
And finally, in Crab Lore and
Clinic News, Stark came in to find Stabby and the nurses playing a game called...
Oh my god...
You've Got Crabs. WHAT IS THIS AND WHY DO I NOT HAVE IT IN STOCK RIGHT NOW.
Anyway, that's all the news we have for the morning so on that note, I need to go fix this questionably-titled-game oversight
right the hell now, so I'll talk to you all next week, denizens of Fandom! Have a good one.
