Fandom Radio: Friday, September 2nd.
Friday, September 2nd, 2022 03:57 amGoooooood morning, everyone! It's Graham here, with all your news from yesterday and a very important note from the squirrels to let you know that EVERYTHING IS FINE and the fire, it seems, is all illusionary and not actually burning anything, which would have been great for them to let me know before I got to the studio and before I ran out of the dorms in a panic for the stables.
Triumph, by the way, is also fine Aren't you, boy?
*trumpeting little chirps of affirmation*
Awwww, that's a good mighty steed! That's the best mighty steed! You wanna do radio with me today, buddy? Huh? Wanna?
*even more excited chirps*
Of course you do! So let's get on with it! It's time for Friday Radio, with Graham, and special guest Triumph!
*mock trumpeting bugle noises*
Take it away, Triumph!
*a long series of admittedly adorable, but also most untraslatable squeaks, grunts, and chirps*
Woooow! So, for those of you who don't speak Cabybara, Triumph here just told us all about the School, where we have all new class to report on! What are those classes? I'm glad you asked! All me to introduce you to the classes that....mostly did introductions! Like they did in Palenology, which is apparently about a lot of dead animals from a long, long time ago! And in Sexy Crimes, we talked about our experience with crime, in which I have none--
*protestings squeaks*
...oh, well, that doesn't count, Triumph. And then there were introductions in the Art of Peas, as well--
*chuffs and grunts*
...oh, I'm sorry, the Art of Peace, not peas, so it's a class about pacisfism and not a verys specific culinary niche. And, in the library, all those cat-books were no cat-tastrophe, because Belle was very good about shelving them properly, although she wondered if any of the ceiling cats were actually Five.
Ooooh! We also have a rare, elusive Dorms note this week! It's about Sakaki, on the deck, tending to some battle wounds and introducing Allie to her pet cat Maya! Triumph! You should go meet Maya, too! All of you pets could have a secret pet club! That's be great!
....*unenthusiastic grunt*
Okay, okay, just an idea. Let's move on now to the Town! Tisarwat is hiring over at Groovy Tunes, which sounds to me like a good opportunity! Liz was working on her knitting at the Photo Hut, and Libby was excited to tell the nurses about space healing at the clinic.
Duke was at Luke's with Octavia, who was a raccoon when he came in, but not for long! She conveniently turned back to herself while on him! Lucifer then showed up with some celebratory post-animilification wine....hey, wait, is that a tradition? I didn't get any celebratory wine when I changed back!
*chittering*
....I don't know, you guys, I'm sixteen, that's pretty grown up. But, moving along, over at the Magic Box, Scott --hi, Scott!--was trying to fix the register, and Charlie--hi, Charlie!--
*squeaking chirps of greeting*
--stopped in and was pleased that not only did they sell real magic stuff there, but that Scott knew magic, too! There was a community center class called Badass Bitch Survival Guide where they made up new identities, and at the Maaaaaagpie Empooooor~rium, Saffron was not feeling very generous toward those other cats from the ceiling, but Watts did stop by to thank Steph about the nice things she said during her radio broadcast.
Laszlo was teaching the ceiling cats how to sing over at Caritas, while, at the Devil's Nest, Annie was inspired by a recent trip do do space-themed drinks that were out of this world, whcih Summer appreciated as they got to talking about Summer's classes and partying with Mormons. Watts was willing to give the space drinks a try, too, and chatted about how he didn't even think people could travel through space or time until he got here.
And that's all the notes for this Friday! And just remember, EVERYTHING IS FINE, the fire isn't actually doing anything, and once you get used to it, it's actually kind of pretty, but it's a shame it's no good for s'mores. Anyway, Triumph, since you're our special guest today, you want to send us off?
*very complex series of chirps, chitters, grunts, and squeaks*
*chuckles*
Very well said, Triumph, and something we'd all do well to keep in mind! Thanks for listening, everyone! See ya next week!
