Tuesday, January 18th, 2022 11:38 amGood morning! It's Tahani al-Jamil here with all of the news of yesterday. We'll begin with classes because that's how the notes are arranged. The Art of Poetry shared their epic poems--none about me--before learning about poems devoted to landscape. We learned from our mistakes at escaping in last week's exercise in Exit Strategies, though I did extraordinarily well and Vi was not at all appreciative. Guiding the Powerful had to try to get their boss not to steal things, Mytbusters dropped pennies off the Empire State Building, and Dr. Lecter's class went to Miami for dinner.
In town, Sakaki was having trouble getting the animals at Furnado to pose for her photography assignment, Rosa was drinking coffee and plotting--how do you know she was plotting?
*chittering*
No, I am most certainly not going to ask her if she's plotting. New firefighter Buck fell on the ice, poor dear, and got tended to by Doctor Will in the Perk. He also complained about the ice to Ulysses before somehow having to explain the chopped up fingers he picked up on the last ice he'd seen weren't because he was a serial killer.
That sounds like something a serial killer would mention. Speaking of things that are disgusting, there was a shave ice stand in front of the police station being made from sidewalk snow and Steve McGarrett ate some. Jaye was there because she enjoys idiocy, and Danny was there to talk his partner out of said idiocy. Better luck next time, Danny. Anakin tried to cheer Stark up via raccoon shave ice--it didn't work--and so Stark tried drinking his problems away via the all-you-can-drink-but-only-if-it's-horrible vodka special Eric had at the Devil's Nest. Alara was working out in the gym and told Kurt about her super-strength and he told her about his teleportation.
I can make a beautiful bouquet of flowers from things you buy at the grocery store, so we all have superpowers, really. At the Photo Hut, Liz was telling Prompto how much better she was sleeping lately and that feels like slightly too much information for us all to have? Summer helped Goose with his grocery shopping and I'm mistaken, that is a level of information we definitely don't need.
*chittering*
Well, it just feels like you're padding the notes, that's all, Leroy. I wasn't trying to make you feel bad.
*chittering*
And that's everything, or possibly Leroy is eating the other notes right now in a fit of pique. That will just have to remain a mystery to the rest of you. Until next week, this has been Tahani al-Jamil!
