Both: 🎵 ~Troy and Astrid in the moorn-ning!~~ 🎵
Troy:...and we're back. Thanks again to our special guest in the last segment, who was definitely a ghost and not just a sheet thrown over a cantaloupe stuck on a broom. Very spooky! And now, for the moment you've all been waiting for, the highlight of your morning, the reason we're all here....~THE RADIO~. I'm Troy "Butt Soup" Barnes...
Astrid: And I'm Astrid "I May As Well Just Keep Doing This" Magnussen...
Troy: Let's get started!
Astrid: A new semester means a new lineup of classes for the SCHOOL notes. Advanced Team Building got to build a shelter in the preserve, Shop Class got to build shelters for birds, and Guilding the Powerful yet Incompetent didn't build anything except maybe an appeal to a king not to steal someone else's tapestries.
Troy: Those must have been some tapestries.
Astrid: Meh. I hear they were okay, at best. But what do I know about art? Anyway, Eleanor was at the library, too, actually working.
Troy: Whaaaaaat? Are you sure? That doesn't sound right. Are we sure it was Eleanor?
Astrid: That's what it says.
Troy: ....I don't buy it. Anyway, in...~the Dorms~...we actually have a note! But it's just Enola making tea and stuff in the third floor common room, so...at least it's somethng!
Astrid: In TOWN, Nina got a visit from Duke at the Bookbelt, which he'd never really been to before and they talked about Nina setting up some kind of book club. At Pick your Poison, Iris was working on new scents when Nell came in looking to speak with her about...something. This squirrel might have gotten distracted by some scented candles.
Troy: Those can be very distracting, but no matter how good they smell, don't eat them.
Astrid: Spoken with the conviction of a man with experience. Ignis was working on lesson plans at the Perk, but stopped to have a conversation with Cait Sith, mostly about teaching, and my esteemed sometimes cohost Troy, here, had his first day at Groovy Tunes. How'd it go, Troy?
Troy: Having a job is weird! But I pretty much just listen to music all day, so...no complaints yet!
Astrid: Well, I hope you enjoy it, but, speaking of work, I have to get to my own job now, and we're finished with notes, so that's all for us today, anyway. So this is Astrid, the Normal Human....
Troy: ...and Troy, the Disco Spider...
Both: ...signing out.
Troy: PEACE!
