School is, of course, completed for the year, so we move straight to town. Eponine was busy at the post, getting holiday packages sorted out. Astrid found the flowers at her shop were already Christamas-ed out, Faye was testing out the products at Wellspring Arms, and Jesse learned that asking for maintence had actually resulted in someone just...installing a new satellite over the island instead. Not helpful. Jessica's friend didn't believe marzipan boulders were a real thing to excuse not calling her back, and Rosa learned that Kitty had bought a replacement inflatable reindeer for her daughter because Clint'd shot the first one when it turned evil.
Do not get me started on water-wings with teeth. They aren't even festive! Rey and Silver had a date with a fake fire that wasn't doing a thing to help them stay warm, so they made out to conserve body heat.

Really.
Lucifer and Duke planned a seafood dinner date for Octavia--hope that wasn't supposed to be a surprise--and Lucille and Tisarwat talked about the excitement of last week over tea at the music shop. How lovely! Sabine gave Nina access to a warehouse full of explosives--why--but fortunately she was just there to pick up a piece of art she'd commissioned. Astrid was a little sorry to see it go, but Nina brought cake, and that lessened the sting a bit.
And on that bit of holiday cheer, I bit you all adieu until the new year! I have some rather fabulous parties to attend, you know.
