Over at the school it was assembly day again, and Anakin took the students though Portalocity to a mall, aka the best place to celebrate the winter season. Nina explained Santa to Wei Wuxian, and checked with Anakin about going shopping if there was enough time. The students helped out at a food bank and then got to explore the mall and meet Santa, and Nina shared the joy of Robin Sparkles with Miles.
In town, the Modern Earth Entertainment folks got subjected to another sappy Christmas movie, and Shunsui had to deal with a llama in Turtle and Canary. Rey had an abundance of Santa hats, because the island is so giving, and at the Trooper Station, Danny tried to get Diego to go along with the station's Secret Santa thing. Octavia couldn't get the music at Devil's Nest to do what she wanted, and Jessica teased Octavia about telling Lucifer it was still better than what he was playing. Shunsui came by to check on Octavia, and Duke also came by, and the hearts all over this note suggest that went well. At Caritas, Summer had some more Christmas themed jello shots going. Seivarden wanted to make sure there were no actual hats in the hat-themed jello shots, and Lucifer was glad to see Seivarden is still around. Lucifer also thanked Summer for delivering shots to him and Duke, and Jesse made the mistake of saying the winter-themed weirdness from the island wasn't as weird as she expected. That's like saying it's too quiet when you know the crazies just haven't come out yet. Cait came in with a really terrible sweater and got caught up with Lucifer. Rey and Annie talked about the leftover party decorations still in Rey's apartment, and Summer teased her about just holding onto them. Annie wasn't ready to try shots again, and Seivarden complained to her about how much glitter was still on her clothes, and Stark just went straight for a soda instead of trying for one of the shots.
