Both: 🎵 ~Troy and Summer in the moorn-ning!~~ 🎵

Troy:...and we're back! Thanks again to our special guest, a spider, who reassured us in that last segment that the whole spider thing yesterday will not happen again.

Summer: Please note that there was no actual segment before this or any guarantee that there will not be spiders again, and, in fact, by saying so, my cohost here probably just ensured that there will definitely be spiders again.

Troy: Summer!

Summer: What? I know how these things work, Troy. Besides, for someone whose sign-off is 'disco spider,' I'd figure you'd embrace your arachnid brethren.

Troy: They're fine! I just don't like...competition.

Summer: Mmhm. Anyway, should we get to the notes?

Troy: Yes! *clears throat* Starting with, of course, The School. Where P.E. had a movie day, that Art Class had a substitute teacher--the best teacher--

Summer: Don't.

Troy: --and a movie day, and Fuctioning Governments had a sort of movie day! Does that mean we can have a movie day today, Summer?

Summer: That's not how movie days work, Troy.

Troy: But I mean, it would be kind of nice! And, look, all the cool kids are doing it.

Summer: One of those cool kids was me, Troy.

Troy: Exactly! You're not going to treat your substitute students better than your actual students, are you?

Summer: My substitute students don't pester me about movie days when they're supposed to be reading their radio notes, either.

Troy:...touché. So, with that, I'll just go on to point out that Alexis was skulking around the offices yesterday afternoon...I wonder why that might be, A-LEX-IS. And Miles, who is not a ghost, but is a spider...-man, was wondering that exact same thing and warned her of attack spiders if you didn't know the password, so, you know, heads up on that one, but also, spiders were kind of attacking everything yesterday, so I don't know. He is a spider-dude, though, so it seems legit.

Summer: In TOWN, The Perk was kind of hopping despite the spider making its home in the doorway, much to Danny's frustration, although Lucille didn't seem to mind...or really notice...before chatting it up with Danny about bugs and islands. Lucifer noticed and disapproved and attempted to have Danny give him a run-down of what he may have missed while he was gone, which included children, vacation, and, quote, 'the unfortunately normal weird shit.' Then the two Lucies reaquainted themselves, since it's been a hot minute or several thousands, depending on which way you're coming from, and talked about how everyone apparently gets hell wrong before having some tea. Mae came in to declare herself the Spider Queen and was told by Lucifer that the spiders will eat her in her sleep, while Danny just wanted some proof; it doesn't sound like he was convinced, but she did get a donut out of it, so...win?

Troy: Donuts are always a win.

Summer: Even if they're covered in spiders?

Troy: .......

Summer: Exactly. Anyway, the dishwasher was full of spiders at Luke's, surprising no one, but Octavia helped keep that in check by eating most of them.

*chittering*

I mean, you have to admit, though, guys, it's much funnier if you don't mention she's still a racoon for that one. But, hey! She was willing to share spiders with Duke, so that's really sweet of her! There was also some texting between Duke and Lucifer, the squirrels got close enough to tell it had something to do with booze at the start, so there you go.

That Barry guy found a way to keep all the spiders at bay at Dite's, but it wound up constantly turning on all the...toys, and ohmygod, I love that. That is amazing.

Troy:...they have toys there, too?

Summer: Oh, Troy...no. Just...no...let's just move on. To more spider-management, with Amaya at the Forge and a bunch of hammers, and Eric at the DN with a salt gun. There's a pun or two in there, but I am not going to say any of them, because I am not terrible.

And, with that, that's our final note, so this is Summer Smith...

Troy: ...and the actual Disco Spider...

Summer: ...signing out, and....good luck with whatever gets thrown at us tomorrow, because I'm sure it's going to be...interesting.

Troy:...wait, what? Interesting ho--
