Wednesday, September 30th, 2020 11:39 amGood morning to everyone except people who now have Kamilah al-Jamil autographs because I am no longer speaking with you. Let's get to the news, shall we?
Amaya was taking over for Rosa's class, which meant they learned about crowbars, I didn't go to prison in Dr. Aphra's class because I am an expert at awkward family dinners, mostly because no one pays attention to me whatsover, and Guiding the Powerful had to talk a king out of assassinating his wife. I really, really worry about you people some days.
In town, mayor Jesse was struggling with about a hundred pages of maths that showed that someone might have perhaps broken the multiverse? Slightly? That seems like something we should be more concerned with than the squirrels seem to be? Anyway, Breq couldn't offer anything but sympathy, and maths is not my strong suit so I guess I'll just move on.
*paper rustling*
Oh, no I won't because Rosa came back to discover that her boyfriend Miguel was gone because--according to Barry, who stopped by--he'd been sucked into an alternate dimension through their apartment kitchen. Rosa and Miguel, not Barry and Miguel. So...avoid kitchens, I guess. Or maybe Rosa?
And now we move on from space-time disasters to find out that Tisarwat had a headache at work, Nina tracked down Astrid at the flower shop to commission her for an art project--I'm sure it will be loads nicer than anything Kamilah does, and Tino had a gremlin bite at Caritas. Tony got Kitty's word that if he got bitten, she'd only share the video footage with Clint and Pecs before they started planning a Halloween party, and Rosa demanded drinks because her boyfriend is stuck in Brooklyn. Over at the Trooper Station, Tattoos was doing paperwork for Diego's brother who got put into jail over the weekend. You could get your guests put into jail? Why didn't I try that? And then he and Danny talked about their daughter who visited and they threw paper clips at each other. That's terribly professional. Diego was at the gym--I'll pause her to give you a moment to appreciate that--and met new girl Annie, who is...adjusting and has already found the gym despite only being here for a day. That's some commitment to cardio. I'd found the coffee shop and a pillow to scream into by day two, I believe.
And that's everything! See you at the assembly, but only if you don't want to talk about Kamilah.
