x_discospider_xTroy: Hello. And welcome to...the radio. I'm Troy "Butt Soup" Barnes...what? That's my name! And I'm here because a bunch of squirrels broke into my room this morning and tried to get me here, and I thought, "Okay, I'm not doing anything, please don't give me rabies!" but they did give me a bunch of tiny little notes, so I guess I'll read them, because yes, thank you, I do know how to read.
So, in SCHOOL--ohhh, so they're like announcements? Dope. Okay, so, in Intro to PE, we played football, which means I crushed it, even if I'm pretty sure our teachers had never seen a football before yesterday, the Art of Ma---Ma-what? Ma-gic? Ma-crame? Ma-ntana? I don't think the squirrel finished writing the word, anyway, they talked about some poem, so maybe it's the Art of Ma-king me got to sleep, am I right? *laughs* And Functioning Governments talked about the electoral college, which mostly just confused people? Which is why I'll probably just go to a community college, and then they drew new voting maps.
In the DORMS--
*sound of a door trying to be opened*
Summer: *muffled* Why is the door locked? Wait, the On Air sign is on? Who's in there?
Troy: Err, uh, in the DORMS, we had Astrid burning letters and explaining to Sabine that it was not a fire hazard, but an art project.
Summer: *muffled* Are you serious right now? You can't kick me off, Leroy!
Troy: Uhhhh...so...in TOWN, there was a huge special--
Summer: *slightly less muffled* It was one date, Leroy, and it was a bribe, anyway! I can't believe this petty, insecure, ridiculous [BEEP] [BEEP][BEEP] [BEEP] [BEEP] [BEEP]-irt right now...
Troy: *while more beeps continue softly in the background* Sooooooooooo, as I was saying, there was a mad special on shrimp over at the diner, and...okay, okay, I think I know where this is going...yup! There it is! It says here that "Eleanor was all up in that shrimp business," because if there's two things to know about Eleanor, it's that one? She's hot. And two? Girl loves her some shrimp. Octavia was not as excited about the shrimp, but honestly, who would be? And mostly just talked to Duke about things like emotions and whether or not quiet is one? Even though Eleanor was a little worried about Octavia stomping all over her shrimp ground.
*hearty chuckle* Who doesn't love a good shrimp war, though, am I right, Bob?
*questioning chitter*
I don't know, it just felt like I needed a cohost, you know, wholesome banter, that sort of thing? Maybe one of you can be Bob?
Anyway, moving on, Barry was working on something at what I can only assume is an awesome candy store that I need to go to, and Alexis went on a sushi date with Julius, which, that's fair. That dude is dreamy.
*distant crash*
Is...is everyone okay out there? Should we...should we go che--No? They're good? You're sure? Okay.
*clears throat* There was a philosophy class at the community center where they talked about, like, whether or not what we really do matters and like free will versus predetermination and other...smart...stuff...like that? And the Devil's Nest was advertisting for Oktoberfest on Saturday, but, uhhhhh....*scoffing laugh* it's still September? But okay. Jaskier came in to defend his sausage, but Eric said it was Tiny.
And that's the end of the notes, but now I'm kind of afraid to leave? Because I'm pretty sure that was my econ teacher fighting with a bunch of squirrels in the other room, and this just seems the safest place for me to be right now? But, uhhh...I guess, that's all? For the radio, this is the disco spider, signing off...PEACE!
