Hey folks, this is Clint Barton and here's everything the squirrels caught from yesterday.

At the school it was time for another assembly. This one had some special guests named Mikhail and Janet doing a presentation on moral philosophy through the "trolley problem." Oh boy. Basically, the volunteers had to decide whether to send a trolley to run over a group of teddy bears having a picnic, or a single teddy bear. Mae wanted to know why the bears were having a picnic on train tracks, which is a very good question, and ultimately messed with the controls so it ended up being a random choice. Eleanor happily chose the five bears to see if there was a fluff explosion, and Adora tried to stop the trolley and wooshed in to rescue all the bears, like a badass. Alexis wanted to make sure she didn't accidentally kill a famous bear, and Anakin used his powers to knock the one animal off the tracks when it turned into Mr. Canute Mimir Fluffypants. I feel like this isn't how the original experiment was supposed to go, but... Tahani chose to save the picnicing bears. Rosa made the group of bears fight over the healthy organs of the single bear, and Wei Wuxian wanted to know if the trolley would kill him if he tried to protect the bears. It's safe to say we have a more unique group of people than would normally tackle this problem.

Over in town, Steve was hiding weapons in his ceiling. That sounds like a good child-proof idea actually. Rey was concerned about the noise, and the sort of things Steve might end up using some of his weapons on - can you really be too prepared here? - and Liam helped with some of the construction. Tony was working in his lab, and Steve made sure he actually ate something besides coffee. Awww. The Modern Earth Entertainment class watched a Christmas movie this week, because why not. Tisarwat was happy to see that Lucille took her advice and came by, and Amaya welcomed her as well. Shunsui was happy to see Lucille, and talked about how he liked socializing more than actually watching the movies most of the time. Liam came back again and told Amaya he was glad someone was continuing the tradition of movie viewings, and Seivarden texted Amaya to let her know she was in Los Angeles. Ugh, nothing good happens in Los Angeles.

At Turtle and Canary, Shunsui tried to keep Apu from worrying about the squishy machine still giving out glittery drinks, and Rey did some training in the park. Summer had a questionable jello shot offer going on at Caritas; she also got a text from Seivarden so she wouldn't worry about her being missing, and Barry presented Summer with a jello shot machine. I feel like that could go terribly wrong, but that might just be my experience with Stark Tech talking. Eleanor went for the deviled egg shot, which shouldn't surprise me, and Rey asked how the karaoke promotion was going, but told Summer she definitely wouldn't be participating. Finally, at The Devil's Nest, Octavia spent most of the night throwing axes in the axe range, which Duke appreciated greatly. Those of us with ranged skills are especially hot, it's true. Shunsui also got some flirting in, and convinced Octavia to take a break since he's not the axe-throwing type.

That looks like everything, so that means it's time for me to get my well-earned coffee. Have a good one, everyone.
