Nothing happened in the dorms. Of course. But in town! So first, Breq was going through instruments at Groovy Tunes, Lucille advertised a sale for Pride at Pick Your Poison, Seivarden advertised free tea at the flower shop, and I wasn't aware those things went together? And then Lucifer and Octavia went sunbathing on the beach and he wanted to know all about her latest adventures. Which sounds fantastic when you put it that way.
And then there was the Midsummer Festival on the beach! I'm actually proud of you for throwing something, you guys. And like, so many people showed up. Magnus thought Freya was wearing a costume, which she was not, and he told her he was dressed up as a taco? Silver checked with Magnus to make sure the bear wasn't a ritual sacrifice and also ws confused at Danny about the existence of Long John Silver's. Oh my god, I know. I mean, I've never been to one, but I totally get it. And I don't really get what Magnus and Lucifer were talking about until Lucifer asked about the drinks. He also explained to Seivarden that they're going to burn a bear later. Magnus also had to make sure Summer wasn't going to be sick because she is apparently living her best life. Shuri and Wayne sat together and he told her the bear was instead of a human sacrifice. Okay, that makes it better! Magnus was also totally proud of his bear at Seivarden, and Tisarwat wanted to know why Summer was apologizing to her, and Amaya talked to her about fixing Rosa's locks. And Lucifer just told Rosa to enjoy the party.
Mae and Magnus complimented each other's costumes, and Astrid complimented Mae's posters and they talked about making animals. Magnus and Liam bantered about dancing, but actually not in a flirty way, and Steve and Liam talked about Steve's birthday and the possibility of another party. Yes, please! Magnus was shocked to see Cara in jeans and a shirt. Maybe she normally goes designer?
There was also food, where Steve checked how Danny is settling in and teased him about New Jersey, which is more than fair. Ew. Duke and Danny seem to have progressed from flirting to actual bonding over fishing, again, ew, and Lucifer booked Duke to cook for another party. Duke educated Silver on bars not being whorehouses here, and there are a lot of comments I could make but I'm going to be a lady about it.
And finally, they Burned a bear. Which is still weird. Like... why? It's also a weird place to flirt, Steve and Tony. Magnus was actually really adorable in trying to get a beer for Octavia, who reminded Duke about burning a goat.

You're just going to keep bringing that up, arent't you? Look, it's not like I wanted to bang an ugly goat man, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
