died8yearsago: (reading from a paper)
[personal profile] died8yearsago
Summer: Gooood morning, everyone! Summer Smi--

*loud, interrupting, insistent, passionate, dramatic chittering*

Summer: Ohmygod, not now, Leroy, I'm doing the broadcast!

*chittering continues*

Summer: Ugh, anyway, like I sai--

*chitter!*

Summer: ...it's time to do radi--

*chitterchitter!*

Summer:...if Leroy would just let me--

*chitterchitterchitter!*

Summer: Ohmygod, Leroy! Why are you like this? Hold on just one *chitter!* moment, fo--*chitter*--lks, we're having a few *chitter* technical difficulties.

*Dead silence for approximately seven minutes*

Rosa: Okay, I guess I'm doing radio now because Baby Linetti is having squirrel issues and they're threatening Blackstone with a restraining order after the Crumbler incident last week, and I don't want to deal with that paperwork, so here I am. Also, pretty rich don't you think, you guys wanting a restraining order?

Moving on, getting started, in SCHOOL--

*chittering!*

No, I'm not introducing myself! In SCHOOL, Bloodstains talked about what to do when people can't keep their damn opinons to themselves, Cryptozoology dealt with screaming yams, and Adventuring was horrible because they played Operation and [BEEP] that game.

Nothing in the DORMS. Good.

In TOWN, That One Kid was discovering the joys of business ownership at Pixie Dust, where Larceny--seriously? Larceny?--hopefully didn't actually live up to her name because I don't want to do that paperwork, either. She apparently met Mr. Bubbles, too, whoever that is. And then there were people at Luke's, where--ugh, that's right, this is covering Thursday, isn't it?--anyway, Duke argued with his staff about tuna versus swordfish, talked with Rey about awkward stuff that happened last week, of which there was probably a lot of, taught Larceny--god, am I honestly expected to take that seriously?--about reading, and then made--the squirrel's words, not mine--"cute small talk with Octavia."

God, Smith, you owe me big time.

Oh, great, and now this one, where the Perk failed at making coffee and Hot Leaf Water was incredibly annoying, but still not nearly as annoying as those [BEEP] [BEEP] [BEEP]ing baristas.

The spazzy kid was having some sort of social media meltdown at Furnado, and, at the flower shop, Octavia got a visit from Kincaid, who--

*chittering*'

I mean, technically, yes, but I'm not saying more words just because he got married. Anyway, Kincaid-Pryce--see? Now I might as well call him Liam, and that's weird, but, whatever. Bossman came in, talked about deadly plants, of which there were probably not a lot of in the flower shop, you'd hope.

Doughnuts was also having a probably brooding stroll along Apocalypse Avenue, where he got on Octavia's case about not enjoying fancy restaurants or whatever, and Kitty tried to get him to switch his days at the club because he's swiping all the Tuesday business at the bar.

....

...yup. And that's the only factor.

Don't give me that look. I don't even talk to people if I can help it. It's not my fault I'm just impossible to ignore.

...

Anyway, that's the notes. Radio is stupid. Blackstone, stop threatening squirrels with machinery so that I don't have to get stuck doing this again the next time Baby Linetti's squirrel boyfriend gets jealous.
