somethingwithturquoise: (boo yah!)
[personal profile] somethingwithturquoise
Amaya: Good morning, Fandom! Amaya Blackstone here, along with Summe--

Summer: Summer Smith! It's the return of Smith and the Smith! One morning only, baby! The OG team back at it again for at least one more time!

Amaya:...despite there not being nearly enough notes to require two people.

Summer: Ugh! Just let me have this, Amaya! And I brought you PSL!

Amaya: You did bring me PSL.

Summer: It's tradition!

Amaya: Well, that's debateable, but I do appreciate it, Summer, thank you. And since you're the guest of honor this morning, would you like to do the honors?

Summer: Why, yes. Yes, I would.

*clears throat*

In SCHOOL, Practical Defense learned how to throw off a pursuer using cleaning supplies, Phys Ed did paintball...kind of?, and Practical Life Skills dealt with vending machines.

Amaya: I was going to get one of those for the shop at one point. I wonder if I could actually just make one...

Summer: Well, we know what Amaya's doing for the rest of the day now, and I think we need to load her up with more PSL to help her get there!

Also, in the library, Eleanor learned the hard way that sneaking around in the offices of teachers and librarians alike at this school is likely to turn up some [BEEP]ed up shit. Take this coming from a former teacher herself.

Amaya: You didn't even have an office, Summer.

Summer: Shh.

Moving on. Nothing much happened in the DORMS, and it was kind of a chill day in TOWN, too. Things were mostly chill for Dr. Lecter over at Fandom Counseling because everything's been, like, suspiciously normal around here. And Sabine, who is doing an amazing job on my ship, by the way, was chilling out with sketches over at Wellspring Arms. And the teas at T42 were also chilling as Hernando was all up in that cold-steep. And Rey--s'up, Rey!--was chilling at the Perk, where she ran into Luke, who she knows but not, like, this version, and it was apparently supes awkward, which is definitely one of those things where everything from that universe is [BEEP]ing bonkers, and yet, here I am, throwing myself right in the middle of it.

Over at the Devil's Nest, Eric confirmed that Tino's an asshole--

Amaya: That's what you're taking from that note?

Summer: It's the most important part. Anyway, I guess there was some complaining about a piano, but Lucifer seemed pretty happy about it, and Jaina showed up to catch up with Eric, comment on the new facelift, and find out about Eric's latest annoying customer. Which I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess it has something to do with that piano and that Lucifer guy, but, also, I wouldn't know, because I can't drink at that bar, despite working at another bar.

Amaya: Probably shouldn't patronize the competition, either.

Summer: It's the principle of the matter. Anyway, in-- *papers shuffle* Huh. That was the last note. You weren't kidding that there's not a whole lot...

Amaya: Thursdays are pretty quiet.

Summer: Well, then....okay. That's it, everyone, for Smith and the Smith, and go out and do more stuff next Thursday so that I can read more notes...maybe...if I"m still here, I don't know, it's all a mystery!

Amaya: Well, I'll at least be here, either way....island willing. Be bold, Fandom, and we'll see you next week.
