*chittering*
The squirrels want you to know that in classes, there was fire, but no more squirrel houses, so they think it was only an okay day. In Bad Ass Bitches, we learned some hand-to-hand combat and paired up to spar. Lana wanted to know if Rosa was providing knives or we should bring our own and I'm just not even going to start on how many state laws that's probably breaking. Practical Ethics played two truths and a lie, and Cooking tried to toast pinenuts in a toaster. So, naturally, the toaster caught fire. Does everyone bring a fire extinguisher? Because you should.
The dorms were quiet, but in town, Norman spent his entire shift at the Magic Box chasing a mouse around. The mouse was, apparently, trying to enchant a mop into cleaning the floors. I've seen that movie. At Furnado, Zack was soliciting animal volunteers for his class, at least until Prompto came in to make sure that the puppies from last week's class had received the proper number of pettings so far. Astrid was making broken flower pot sculptures over at the florist, and Mitsutada was back at Luke's for his shift after being a huge slacker last week. Sabine was working on sketches at the Perk, Raven had the Holo-Scene set up for flight simulation, and the grownups at Modern Earth Entertainment ate snacks and watched that movie with the whiny white kids in detention, and Kaidan and Kanan continue to vex me by meeting up on Tuesday nights and having basically the same name for me to keep mentioning, and then were having some kind of study session about Kanan--I think--his home galaxy.
Over at Caritas, Kitty is fully tired of being pregnant, which is too bad because she has another ten weeks to go. She bitched about it at Kanan, who volunteered to help put together all of the ridiculous baby equipment. Rosa told Kitty that Seivarden was picking up her drinks if she showed up, but she was buying for "Captain Tightpants." Turns out that she doesn't know the guy's actual name, so that made Kitty's day a little tougher. Seivarden did come in to pay for drinks and to catch up with Rosa, and so did Captain Tightpants, who turned out to be Miguel. And Hernando showed up for like three seconds.
And that's it. Go to class, talk to you next week.
