Fandom Radio; Thursday, August 8th.
Thursday, August 9th, 2018 10:09 amGood morning, everyone! Amaya Blackstone here, with a neat little stack of notes of the news, ready to be read and said and done! Let's get right to it, then!
Things were all quiet at THE SCHOOL and the DORMS as well, and even a little bit in TOWN. At least it was pretty quiet for Peter at the flower shop and the sex shot...so quiet that Kathy was reduced to doing yoga. That raven they got over at the C.I.C. was sure cranky yesterday, which might have something to do with Kaidan not being back from being out-of-town or even possibly off-planet yet, as Hernando found out when he stopped in looking for him and filled Nate in on why he'd gone off in the first place.
So I guess mostly everyone was building up their energy for the weekly summer activity, this time putting on plays with puppets with public service announcement on useful Fandom Island stuff. Kitty showed up before hand, excited to watch, as did Kathy, though she wound up being roped into the activity, while Astrid just dealt with popcorn grease on her drawings.
Once everyone was ready, the teams were called and had a chance to spin for the topic they'd be doing their shows on, with some...interesting results.
Sparkle thought this was the dumbest activity yet....and I ain't arguing with him...but at least his partner Uma had confidence in their ability to dress their puppets up nice.
Brooke doubted her partner Norman's desire for these things to be educational, and they juuuuust so happened to land the wheel on the one he deemed the most useful and she deemed the easiest to make puppets for: knowing what to do when you end up naked after a transformation.
Detective Diaz was confused why Paris would even want to try to win the fish and had a simple solution to their topic of how to apologize when you're evil for the weekend: just don't. You gotta admit, she's got style I can appreciate, that one.
Sabine and Astrid struck a deal to not win the fish despite a desire to decorate it, just so long as Astrid got to make a Captain America puppet, which would walk their viewers through a brief Do's and Don't's of naked animal transformations before celebrating their mediocrity.
Rey's in dangerous territory with not knowing what some of the options even were, and, since they landed on Fosse insisting that they dance, Cara's pretty sure Rey's now jinxed to experience that first hand. She's...probably not wrong.
Theron was more than happy to let Sidon and his excitement take charge of spinning the wheel; they got alot of danger with alots, though Sidon admitted he didn't quite know what those were.
And, I'll admit, Verity and myself weren't really that into it, but weprobably gave it a decent go.
Kathy and Beaker had some communication problems, but that didn't seem to stop them from eventually pulling through and winning the fish, which Kathy...."generously" offered to Beaker.
Now there's an idea for next year's board if I ever heard one.
Anyway, that's all the notes for today, so be bold, and we'll see you all...well, talk to you all next week.
