Fandom Radio, Monday, December 4th
Monday, December 4th, 2017 06:13 amUgh, no, I don't want any of that stuff. You guys go ahead and drink up, I think I'm going to swear off drinking at least until my mouth stops tasting like the inside of a shoe. Just... give me the notes, and I'll read them, and then I can go back to hating everything with my head buried under a pillow. Maybe get me some water or something instead.
... What do you mean this came from the tap?
Never mind, then. To the notes.
As usual, all of the notes today are once again from town, which mostly just means that instead of having to read about kids having sex in the dorms, I have to read about grown adults discussing the possibility of it in the comfort and safety of their own home. But not before discussing Christmas cards and planning another party, because Steve and Tony really need to learn how to bribe the squirrels. Outside his apartment, Dante caught a postcard made of ash before heading in to coax Kathy down from her holiday prep, and then he did some texting with Ada.
Seivarden... ugh... was down at the beach, throwing cards in the water and screaming about how much she hates the place. Seems like Zack had a similar idea, and they both bonded over how everyone who sent their cards is dead.
... Yeah, I have nothing funny to say, there.
Jono was sorting through cards to his knees at Groovy Tunes, which inspired a call home. Sparkle's cards didn't inspire any calls at the Demon Marcus, but he did get one that kind of floored him. And I even got one at Luke's, though I was a little too miserable at the time to really appreciate it. Miguel showed up a day late for his shift and offered to cover while I recuperated, and Summer stopped by for her usual Sunday pancakes, and offered me some Midol - never take that stuff for a hangover you will feel like dying - before flirting with Miguel over coffee milkshakes or something. And finally, at Caritas, Atton was dealing with more cards than any one person should ever have to deal with, and an idiot bartender who, naturally, caused an avalanche.
That's all the notes?
That's all the notes. Have a good week, Fandom. I'm gonna go... just... recover for a while longer.
