Morning, Fandom, and welcome back to you suckers that got out but came back for the weekend. This is Constantine, and he's the gossip from yesterday...
It was pretty quiet up at the school. Civics talked about the bill of rights, while Sex Ed discussed sexual orientation.
Town was a bit busier, but mostly in preperation for Homecoming. Parker was having fortune cookies for breakfast at Luke's. Kathy went through sexy costumes at Dite's, Dante was playing the guitar at Groovy Tunes and had Anders show-up for lunch with pizza. Mary had issues with Günter's food at the Arms Hotel, and later on in the evening, Ronan and Reno were sparring on the beach after the carnival.
Meanwhile, the carnival was hopping, starting with the kissing booths. Paris explained to Tip how being in a kissing booth fights patriarchy if you only kiss girls -- sure, sweetheart, -- and Aloy asked Paris what this is about. Reno was selling kisses, and Ronan was happy to see him and they decided to meet up for sparring later. Paris stopped by Khadgar's booth and offer him books on feminism.
Jack stopped by Ronan's booth and they reminisced about previous kisses, and Leto visited and they did some catch-up and kissing. Tony's booth was popular-ish, with a Brooke deciding 'he'll do,' ouch, Stark, and
Steve stopping by in a wet T-shirt for flirting and kissing.
Then there were in the dunk tanks.
Anakin got a visit from Jaina, showing her kids how to dunk him, and Atton informed Anakin he could just not show up.
Steve's tank got lots of visitors -- and that explains the wet shirt -- and Tony commented on his Hawkeye T-shirt. Bucky and Steve talked about Coney Island, Summer apologized before dunking Steve, Clint commented on Steve's T-shirt, Kitty said hi, and Bobby asked his kid if they should dunk Steve.
...oh for fuck's sake these notes just keep going. Kanan was in a dunk tank, because he's a sucker, and Hera dunked him twice. Well done, Hera. Tip asked Kanan if he's going to cheat, Seivarden completely failed to dunk Kanan, to her surprise, though Summer succeeded in her dunk attempt, but then Kanan got dunked again by mysterious means.
Kitty's dunk tank also saw visitors, first of which was Bobby and his daughter Charlotte stopping by to catch up, and Charlotte failed to dunk Kitty. Clint and Tony both wanted to dunk Kitty, and Kitty informed Tony she doesn't want to go to his kissing booth. Harsh.
Brooke decided to dunk Sam because he's cute, Warren showed up to Zach's dunk tank with cotton candy and ten throws to use, and Sidon offered to dunk Yang.
There was also a pie toss, staffed by Peridot, Zoe, and Magnus. Peridot didn't know what pie was, so Aloy explained it before tossing pie at her. Anakin asked Zoe if she'll fire him if he tosses pie at her because he's got a fucking death wish, and Kitty threw pie at Magnus.
There was plenty of food and drink that was not for throwing, too. Magnus says he misses the unicorn dishes, and Octavia didn't know they exist. Jackson and Jack catch up by the food, and Derek is surprised to see Jackson.
Jack didn't have enough hands for the food he wanted to eat, so Emma 'helped' by stealing some of his food. Derek offered to help him with the food too, and Kitty and Jack got a chance to catch up.
Ada grabbed a lot of food and hung out with Dante. Tony asked Hardison if he is aiming for a food coma and Hardison told him that if that happens he'll stay next to Steve.
Luke was happy to see Jaina and her kids, Mike and Brooke did some catch-up, and Derek and Stiles discussed Stiles' age.
Things were lively over by the rides, too. Kathy joined Anders on the Carousel and they talked about previous Homecomings. Sparkle gave the Ferris Wheel the middle finger and told Ada about the murder carnival before filling in Miguel about the Ferris wheel who killed him while Ada and Hyacinthe flirted. Then Cade failed to grab a duck -- I don't even want to know -- and catches up with Sparkle.
That's it, Fandom, I'm done until I need to be a chaperone tonight. If you're going to spike the punch tonight, make it good, and don't let me catch you.
