Right, right, I'm up...why am I up?

*chittering*

Yeah, I don't actually speak squirrel. Anyway, this is Four and I'm here to tell you about stuff that happened yesterday and to warn you about the chickens in capes running through town. I don't even know why. Is there a chicken superhero convention?

Classes are done for the semester, and yesterday was Sunday, so they were extra done. Everyone else was pretty quiet yesterday other than Johnny, who went to the movies as advertised, but then tried to set limits on the amount of popcorn he'd buy when Gwen showed up, intrigued by the 'free popcorn' deal. Travis was covered in tinsel due to a too-close encounter with a rickshaw and...this place is so weird.

So. Weird.

Enjoy your Monday, everyone. Look out for the chickens.

Good morning, listeners; Cecil here, for probably the last broadcast before I head home for the break. Unless ♥Carlos♥ tries to tell me it's "too dangerous" again. I mean, really, it's Christmas - of course it's dangerous!

But anyway. It looks like a lot of folks have headed home already, because there wasn't much going on around the island. Over in the library at school, my little sib Barry was doing Science on his tablet and the books were leaving him alone for once.

*chittering cheers*

I think the squirrels are on your side, Barry!

In the dorms, Celia was reading poetry in her room and being all moody, when a lightbulb started flickering. No word on if any of these things were connected. Alana came back from the bathroom and noticed it and asked if she should find a spare before it went out. Which is probably easier than looking for one in the dark after it goes out, so I vote yes!

More on that thrilling story as it develops. If it develops.

And in town, Hatter was drinking tea and checking his phone at Cafe Fina, so it looks like he's learning to use it, which is great!

And over at the Devil's Nest, Jack - the only one - decided to leave all the chickens in capes alone, but they didn't return the favor, so he spent his Devil's Nest shift with one sitting on his shoulder. Éponine wondered about the chickens, and Jack joked that they were part of a business venture, and then the two of them started throwing around ideas for how to capitalize on them. Which...um. Prooobably shouldn't involve throwing them. I'm just saying.

Kitty also came by, and wasn't super thrilled to find chickens there either. But she stayed anyway, and she and Jack did a little catching up. He had a commencement and a birthday over the weekend - oo, congratulations and condolences! - and is apparently off to law school next.

Which is a great note to end on! Good luck, Jack, and don't forget to bring plenty of librarian repellant and extra sacrifices for your professors. And in honor of your heroic possible sacrifice and in jubilant celebration of the holiday, I leave you with the weather!
