Good morning, everyone. This is Anakin Skywalker--stop that--with your news of yesterday. And the squirrels--STOP THAT--still like my haircut, which is quickly becoming a reason to grow it out again. Ugh.

In classes, Pinkie Pie was out so Friendship and Baking was glitter-free as Derek taught the students to make apple pie. Pie's better without glitter anyway. In my class, the students worked on their breathing exercises and then used that new focus to either play darts, throw knives, or learn to cornhole.

*squirrelly snickers*

Stop that. Johnny and Daphne flirted in class and made plans for after, which reminds me that STI tests are always available at the clinic for all of your post-scrapbooking regrets. Speaking of scrapbooking--

*chittering*

It's a euphemism. I'm bringing it back. Navaan's class on writing learned that you need three characters: the good guy, the bad guy and the sex partner.

Um. They filled out questionnaires and I'm just going to go right to the library note because if I think too long on that class my brain is going to break. Cosette was late for her shift because she'd gotten caught up reading a novel that was hopefully not written by anyone in Navaan's class.

In the dorms, Anders stopped by Nathan's room for advice on the story he's writing for Navaan's class--oh dear--and saw a scar Nathan had on his back. Hopefully this makes for good information for a good guy or a bad guy and not...that third thing Navaan wanted.

Finally, Ichabod had a quiet day with the books at Book Haven in town, and Cara was at Caritas trying to figure out how to pour non-foamy beer, one of the great life lessons.

That's all for today. Have a safe weekend.

Good morning! This is Kira Yukimura again and I'm starting to really understand squirrel handwriting. I haven't decided yet if this is good or bad.

Over in the school, the How to Be a Spy class had intoxicated teachers, which seems like a terrible thing that shouldn't be allowed to happen. Apparently, the lesson was on drinking in spywork, and Anders reached the point where he just couldn't deal with the class anymore while everyone else mixed their own drinks. I think I'm with Anders on this one. In American History, Mr. Lyman talked about how people from Texas are dumb... oh, about textbooks. I thought he meant in general. Everyone got to talk about how awful Texas is, and then got a pop quiz on states and capitals. The Beginning Gourmet Cooking class covered cooking with oil, and Ms. Pryde was conducting some flame wars on the internet from her office.

The student council also had their first meeting in the afternoon. Gwen was confused about how she'd ended up there - Alana tried to convince her to stay, Minako said it's because Gwen's awesome, but Principal Winchester gave Gwen the form she got which was apparently filled out by the squirrels. Aww, that's not nice to do to someone! Sparkle ended up as the council president, which I think says a lot about how cool this place is, and then they got down to business to plan... Parents' Weekend? Oh no, I thought I had more time to mom-proof my life.

Okay, anyway, in the dorms, Rapunzel was reading a bunch of art books when Edward stopped by for a visit, and they talked about Rapunzel's trip to an art museum with Barry and how everyone is going to go blind from staring at their phones. Hey, I read books too and they give me just as much eyestrain, so there. Eleanor was having some quality cat cuddling time when Celia came to check on her with booze and ice cream. Aww, that's an awesome friend. Anders came by to talk to Eleanor but was totally taken in by her cat, and he assured her that he wasn't mad about anything that happened on their trip away. Joker also tried to check on Eleanor, but she told him she was busy. Cat cuddling does not count as busy in this case, for real. In the evening, Barry made s'mores for dessert to give to Elsa, who came over for dinnerWHOA that was a glittery flag.

*chittering*

Yes, I think they're adorable too, you don't need to flag me in the face! Anyway, Elsa came over with food, and they talked about their friends and everything that went down last weekend. Over in town, Allie was streaming the Barry Plodder series at The Devil's Nest--I want her data plan, seriously--and Jessica came back to town and gave the guy behind the counter at J,GOB a difficult time about his moustache. Aww, that's not a very nice thing to do to a person who makes food for you.

And... wait, no, that's the end of the notes. Have a great weekend, everyone!
