You know, I've decided I don't actually mind being kidnapped by drunk squirrels every Thursday all that much after all, Island? It makes me feel like a... like... I dunno. A frigging fairytale princess or something. Which might have its downsides, what with all the being kidnapped by evil witches and like dragons and shit? But it also gives me an excuse to break into song whenever I want. You don't get that very often.

Not even in Vegas, apparently. Not that I'm bitter.

But that's all in the past! In the present, I have notes! Radio notes! Which I might or might not choose to sing about, because that's just the sort of morning it is. Starting, of course, with what happened over at the School yesterday. Like the friggin' puppies in Emergency Med as they covered service dogs, though McCoy didn't think Cecil's dress would hold up to the class activity. Ah, heteronormativity. Students paired off to work with the service dogs, which led to Joker getting a rundown of our Vegas trip from Cecil, because of said dress. And Mercy was steering clear of the dogs, because some people just aren't dog people, I guess.

Lit talked about how much Much Ado would be different if it was a modern story, and I'm pretty sure the answer to that is, have you ever watched a rom com? I'd be willing to put money on most of them just being that one with a different wardrobe. Friendery-Bakery was making sugar cookies for that special, uh, somepony? And Isabelle gave Victor the 'so get another girlfriend' advice to help him cope with a case of the lonelies. 'Cause rebound-dating is always a great idea.

And in the library, Sho didn't trust the weird skittery silence, so she took off early. I'm not sure if that's something that can be blamed on the island, or if that's just, like, a normal thing that all libraries have.

In the lobby of the Dorms, Loki had flower sales and dance ticket sales and more glitter than anyone should ever be trusted, and he knew what to do with it. Joker, meanwhile, just inherited a single, so he spent yesterday letting his mess creep into the other side of his room, too. Lucky.

In the warehouse district of Town, a little kid was... You know, there was a little kid. Probably not there any more. Weird island vision or something. Out by the Boardwalk, both Cosette and Éponine stopped to listen to the random French music in the unseasonably warm weather there. Yeul was on the beach, where she had a conversation with Jono about the weekend and some guy misunderstanding her in class one day, and Liara about being busy and not talking for a while and how Liara has a job now. Yeah, that kind of thing just kind of happens around here. I think it's weird, too.

April was dealing with a loose bird over at Furnado, where Clint stopped by for a visit. And, you know, to look at animals because that totally doesn't lead to coming home with like eight more animals ever. Victor was listening to his headphones at Stark Industries, because the other option was listening to, uh, himself. Some people are just that weirded out by the sound of their own voice. It's a thing. Kenzi was nursing a sugar hangover at Luke's, where she was dealing with polar bears in the freezer. Because of course she was. And Jake at Caritas found a trebuchet in the stock room. Which could either be the weapon or the font, either way I'm trying to figure out how the hell that happened.

All the more reason to go drinking on a fake I.D. in Vegas, I guess. Happy Thursday, Island!
